Chapter 538: Preparing The Disciples
My current students in the area, of which there were several hundred. Their numbers were small due to these being the only suitable candidates to learn my methods and were strong enough to make the trip over here. My little sister was protected by my mother's strength so that was fine. But making the trek over here was not for the faint of heart. Or so they thought.
"Pfft, well mother, it's not like I can say no to you." I answered, ignoring the need to save face. Then took a look at the gate and found that a rather weak strength was coming through. "A True Element realm? Interesting. Seems he discovered that this was actually the final stage to the second test." I eagerly smirked.
"Master, Disciple doesn't understand. The traveling path here was meant to be a test?" A Dao Seal realm asked with a rather confused look.
"Of course it was. Though, it's not a very good test if one is strong enough to brute force their way through it." I answered with a smile. "And if you did just that, you're undoubtedly going to suffer in the 3rd trial. Also… I am not your master. I am not even allowed to take disciples yet." I added.
"But, Master, we must show our respect for you…" The same Disciple tried contesting.
I looked at my mother, Su Yan, she returned my gaze with a soft smile. "Fine, do what you want. Just understand you've never gone through the ceremony. So if you use my name for something you had better make that point clear as well. Otherwise my ire will be brought upon yourself. Understand?" I shrugged after a brief back and forth with Su Yan, ultimately ending with her winning the argument.
"Yes Master, Disciple will endeavor to never misuse Master's name." The Disciples bowed, their faces beamed with excitement.
By this point several other of the weaker realm disciples managed to appear through the gate. Each noticing the situation and following suit. The several hundred turned into a few thousand. And that was the end of it.
"Good, now that you're all here. I'll admit, this next trial will be the most difficult. And I don't suggest it for those below the Origin Realm. So what I am going to do is have all of you at or above the Origin Realm begin the practice now. You also don't get a choice in the matter." I said, and the disciples of the various realms I had mentioned vanished to another place entirely and supplied with their own essential resources. "As for the rest of you. I will have you train to hearts content in my small universe. Mind you, it is exceptionally dangerous the place I am sending you. But you'll grow into powerful cultivators. And in there I can even influence everything so you'll meet the love of your life." I chuckled, opening the gate to my small universe.
"Thank You Master!" The Young Disciples all went inside my Small Universe full of enthusiasm. Of course, because of how time flows in there, these disciples came out within a breath. All of them were at least 3rd order origin kings. Furthermore they had each become a true master of every single realm they had started at and grew through. If that wasn't enough, their number was… a bit larger than it had been before.
"Oh my, they really did find the love of their lives there! You're exceptionally kind my darling boy." Su Yan said, proudly and making absolutely sure that every single one of those new couples or harems returning had at least a tinge of blush on their faces. Some even held their children while others were pregnant.
"I must admit, it is rather satisfying to see them grow like this." I smiled. "Though, I am now suddenly having a bit of a difficult time restraining myself. This agreement my wives made is going to drive me crazy. I want a cutie of my own…" I said, nearly pouting.
"Pfft, if anyone could have any doubt about you being our son, that comment right there would have dashed it to pieces. Your father and I had wanted a child of our own for hundreds of years before you finally came along. And I didn't even get to raise you myself." Su Yan giggled and pouted. "Even so, I'm glad you're here. So I'll take care of your Disciples families in my small universe. I don't have that crazy time flowing stuff like you and your father. So they won't grow apart in age." She explained.
"Thank you for that very much, mother." I said, with a relieved smile.
"Oh! I was wondering why this goddess was so beautiful! No wonder why, she's the god's mother!" Some of the family of my disciples cheered in awe.
"That's right, now come through this gate and you'll be safe from the dangerous outside. It should be more comfortable than out here in nothing else." Su Yan smiled, opening a gate to allow those inside her own small universe. A feat only available to the high ranks. However, she had broken through.
I then sent my remaining disciples away to their training as well. Each of them joined their fellow disciples in the utter confusion they were currently experiencing. It was a rather interesting sight for me, so many different people. Each of them had very different reactions to the information they were trying to grasp. It's understandable given that if one were to compare my Dao to any other, it's even tougher to learn than space or time. After all, the Dragon and Phoenix Clans could pass their methods down if they so choose. But my Dao can only be learned from whims and rumors, that is, unless they learn it directly from myself or my teachings.
"Alright, once I've been given the remaining universe Columns, I can finally make the thing that will allow me to send Wu Kuang to the depths of the Ink Battlefield, prepared to deal with anything that Ink may throw his way." I said, opening the boxes one by one and absorbing them into my small universe.
"Are you trying to act as a place for them to be nurtured as well? Isn't that dangerous?" Su Yan asked, her eyes worried about the potential problems that could be a result of this choice.
