She snaps her finger, and a second later, I stand in the middle of a grassland. In the distance, I can see a city on top of a hill. Next to the city is a massive river that falls to the lower ground, creating a beautiful waterfall I can see from here.

I remember that city. It is Rainwall, right? The game and reality have a huge difference, after all. However, the general shape of the city stays the same. That city is the seat of power of one of the enemies in this timeline. I am hesitant to go there, but I need information, and that city is the nearest.

Let's go there and gather some information first. I took out the company phone and checked my bank balance. Like in the catalog, the company gives me ten thousand US dollars monthly as a starter, and it gets bigger with more targets I capture.

They are also kind enough to let me exchange the dollar for the local currency.

The exchange rate is one to one hundred. I don't know if One Million Potch (This world's currency) is big or not, but if this world uses the game logic, it is a good amount of money.

I exchange all of my money into Potch and walk toward the city.

I hear the people around him laugh loudly at his words.

When the man leaves the tavern, I get up and follow him. I make sure to make a distance between the two of us and follow him using my Magoi's manipulation. Magoi is the mana from Magiverse. They are coming from something called Rukh, the source of life in the Magiverse. I can use them as fuel for spells if I want to.

Kouha is not the best in Magoi manipulation, but he is good enough to tag someone so I can follow him from a distance.

After a few minutes of walking, I see him talking with someone behind the counter. I stand behind the man and wait for my turn. When Josu is done, I walk forward and hear the man behind the desk say.

"This is a man-only competition, miss. Sorry."

"I am a man."

I know that Kouha has an androgynous face, but I underestimated it when I first saw it with my own eyes.

The man looks at me carefully from top to bottom. After a few seconds, he nods and says.

"Very well. It will cost you two hundred thousand Potch to enter."

I put two one hundred thousand bills on the desk and watched him put it inside his drawer.

"Name?"

"Kouha Ren"

"Origin?"

"Caleria City, Grassland."

He frowns and says.

"Grassland… That is in the northern continent, yes?"

"That's right."

"You are a long way from home, stranger."

He writes something on the paper and stamps it. He gives me the paper and says,

"Make sure you don't lose this, okay? You need to fight in the elimination stage in Sol-Falena before you can enter the main stage in Stormfist."

"When does the elimination stage start?"

"It will start in a month. Make sure to train and make a note this is a martial arts tournament. You cannot use magic. However, by the look of the weapon behind you, you are a swordsman."

I give her a rough cut of ruby and watch her eyes widen.

I wave my hand and walk away from her. It takes out my phone and sees twelve points pending. Twelve points are on the way.
