Chapter 110- Nascent Soul Transformation expert (2)
Who was a Nascent Soul Transformation cultivator? A Nascent Soul Transformation cultivator was a being who surpassed the Coe formation realm.
A Nascent Soul cultivator can make a soup that exists outside his body. Unless one destroyed his Nascent Soul, a Nascent Soul Transformation cultivator could not be killed.
Even if his body is physically destroyed, as far as his Nascent Soul remains, he will be able to possess another, and remake his body again.
Not only that, but Nascent Soul cultivators was the highest realm of cultivation that Grey knew. He didn't know if there was anything after it or before it. But he was sure it came after the Core formation realm.
For the slender girl to say she wanted to plunder from a Nascent Soul cultivator, she must be really mad.
Even Grey wouldn't dare to steal from a Mid level Foundation Establishment expert, much more a whole Nascent Soul cultivator. Even if he was severely injured and on the brink of death, he wouldn't try it.
Seeing his silence, the slender girl spoke again. "Of course we're not actually going to steal from the original body, we'll just steal from a clone that's on the brink of death."
"That shouldn't be too hard, I can tell you're very strong and you have me in the Foundation Establishment. Although it will be dangerous, it'll be worth the risk. And we'll share the loot fairly."
Seeing her say in such a straight face, Grey suddenly had the urge to punch her in the face. He could see a glint in her eyes that reminded him of Caster and the captain.
He then recalled when he, together with the captain and Luo as well as Ange. All went to storm the Shadow sect despite the obvious strength difference.
He then recalled the very words Caster said right before they stormed the Shadow sect.

"Cultivation is all about taking risks. If we can't even gamble on our lives, then do we deserve to live? Ever since the world underwent this change, we cannot even guarantee our own lives anymore. So why not bet it on something that may pay off?" Those words and the cold way he said it was still vivid in his mind.
He then remembered another one that still stuck deeply within him. "Cultivation is about leaving behind your mortal shell to ascend to Divinity. The heavens frown against cultivation, now even God is against us..."

'Without risks, I can't achieve anything...' Grey said internally in his mind. But when he looked at the slender girl, all he saw was her gloomy expression and smile. But deep in her eyes, he also saw another emotion that deeply frightened him, Madness.
Grey chuckled lowly, but loud enough for her to hear.. "Seems like I'm the only sane person in this world. But in this world, madness is the key to survive!"
The slender girl did not even bother to act surprised. And Grey did not bother to explain himself.
"How do you plan on finding the clone of the Nascent Soul cultivator?" Grey asked.
The gilr thought gloomily for a few seconds before explaining. "I said we will steal from 'a' clone. A Nascent Soul cultivator does not have only one clone, but he cannot make too many at the same time, as sharing his soul is ardous work."
Grey interrupted. "Sharing his Soul?" The slender girl sighed gloomily before explaining things that Grey knew wasn't supposed to know.
"Like I've said before, Nascent Soul cultivators can live on even after their body is destroyed. That is because they have already created their Nascent Soul. A Nascent Soul can be used in two ways. Firstly- it can be used to create clones. Secondly- Nascent Souls can possess the body of other cultivators. They can either absorb the body's soul or devour it and take full possession of the body. But both methods require bloodshed and deaths..." She paused to glance at Grey before continuing.
"... Nascent Soul Transformation cultivators make clones from the bodies of other cultivators. Directly refining the blood, flesh and Soul to create duplicate of the original body. But the cultivation level of the clone will be the same as the body it was refined from." Grey picked up the main meaning from her tone.
'It means that if the level of the body that was refined was at the Foundation Establishment realm, the clone's might would also be at the Foundation Establishment real! We don't really have to fight a Nascent Soul Transformation expert, we can just bully one of his clones and plunder the resources we need. But why do I feel that something is off?' The slender girl nodded her head after seeing the strange glint that shone in Grey's eyes at that moment. She knew that he had understood. So she kept on talking.
"But refining an identical clone is more than just sacrificing someone to refine their flesh and blood. A Nascent Soul cultivator will also have to divide a part of his Soul and his memories to place inside that body, which will then fuse permanently with the body. If that Clone is destroyed, the Nascent Soul Transformation cultivator will suffer a severe backlash as part of his Soul would be destroyed as well." The slender girl's voice suddenly changed from gloomy to slightly excited.
"So is plundering from him will only bring us benefits. As far as we plan our attacks and deal with the clone in a sensible way, we will both come out alive in the end." Grey noticed words like 'come out alive in the end' but decided to pretend that he didn't acknowledge them.
"I'm guessing that you already have a suitable clone in mind that you would want us to plunder from?" She shook as her head as a reply.
"No, I have no idea which clone to target or where they are. But I should soon. Until then let's, discuss how the spoils should be divided."
At this moment, their magic ship transformed from a stream of light back into the slender magic ship that Grey remembered.
The magic ship rocked amd swayed gently when it landed on the water but continued to sail forward.
Grey had already decided to go through with the plan and plunder from the Nascent Soul Transformation cultivator clone. But despite their talks of cooperation and partnership, Grey was still extremely wary towards the slender youth.
After breaking through to the Foundation Establishment realm, the amount of pressure she could place on him in a fight would be monstrous.
Although she had set her eyes on the waters beyond, Grey knew that she was also wary against him despite her back having him. She doubted he would attack, and if he did, she doubted he would be able to seriously harm her.
Heck, even Grey doubted he could seriously harm her without using any of trump cards.
"How about you take his any physical belongings you find on him. I will take whatever I can from his body." Grey heard her say with her back still turned to him.
"What are you thinking of doing? We can only steal from him when he is weak. We cannot hope to kill a Nascent Soul Transformation expe-".
Grey was interrupted. "But it doesn't necessarily have to be Nascent Soul Transformation clone does it? What if we manage to find a Core Formation clone or even a Foundation Establishment clone. Do you still think we lack the ability to kill him?" It was at this moment that she began to release the aura belonging to those of Foundation Establishment realm. She had tilted her head slightly to look at Grey with a detached expression. But what Grey took notice of was not her gloomy expression, but a madness so potent that it spilled out from the depths of her eyes and made anyone looking at her feel a strange sense of foreboding and danger.
'Crazy, this girl is crazy!' Grey shouted inwardly. The crazy look in her eyes greatly resembled what he had seen before in the Captain's and Caster's eyes.
"Wait! Captain?" And for the first time, the slender youth had a change in expression. Her expression changed from nonchalance, to shock, to panic and then to surprise.
"Grey? Is that really you under that cloak?" The slender youth called out to him in a voice that he could remember very well.
"Captain... How did you find out about the Small world?" Grey asked the first question that popped into his head.
"That Pocket dimension? Oh yeah, shortly after you announced your trip to the sea, I decided to make a voyage of my own and maybe sharpen up my skills before the war started. Who knew that I would encounter a scoundrel at sea that forced me to change appearance and became a male. But I managed to obtain information from him about a pocket dimension opening near the Beserk Sea. Interested, I didn't hesitate to go for the gathering, before I met you that is. Who knew that we would spend over two months in that Pocket dimension." The captain paused to sigh deeply.
After knowing that it was Grey, the Captain was now way relaxed. She brought out an apple from her storage bag and took a big bite out of it. But she quickly remembered something and brought out another one which she threw to Grey.
Grey looked at the apple in his hand that was smaller than the one in the Captain's hand and couldn't help but smile wryly.
