Villain System: 10,000x Reward On Murder In The Apocalypse!

Chapter 7: Vitality: 2.0

He quickly rolled to the side, as he was upside down with his shoulder to the ground, he flung his blade at the female zombie's head, his roll completed, he stood up and retreated immediately.

The almost naked male zombie immediately followed him, groaning savagely in hunger, its speed a tad bit faster than a regular human.

Draziel could feel that the back of his overall clothing had been scratched, but his skin wasn't touched. .

Otherwise, if he had been scratched, he might actually turn.

The zombie was fast and it was just a few inches away from Draziel when he suddenly dropped to the ground, his legs trapped the zombie's feet between them as he twisted, falling the zombie face flat to the ground.

He stood quickly on his kneels and stabbed the zombie through the back of its neck.

He kicked at the male zombie's body and his body shifted backwards, avoiding the lunge from the naked female zombie who had gotten up.

The female zombie still had the rod stuck in her head. The force Draziel had thrown the rod wasn't enough to stab through its skull and got stuck.

As the female zombie fell to the ground, the handle of the sharp rod hit the ground, absorbing enough force to pierce through the skull, effectively killing the naked female zombie.

Draziel got up but saw the female zombie had stopped moving. In a while, he realized the reason.

Removing his blade from the skull of the zombies after a bit of struggle.

"It would have been easier with a gun." Draziel mumbled.

After making sure there weren't any more surprises, Draziel poured himself a glass of whiskey, opening his nose mask, he gulped down all of its content, he squinted and then groaned slightly in satisfaction as his throat burned. He then spoke after clicking his tongue.

"Open notification."

[You eliminated 2 Zombies]

[You've received 0.4 Evo points]

He would finally figure out if he this was real or he had been hacked into a virtual game.

No matter how close a virtual world might be to the real world, it can never replicate the feeling of reaching two points in an attribute.

"System, use 0.10 points to increase vitality."

[Vitality 1.90… +0.01]

[Vitality 1.91… +0.01] ...

[Vitality 1.99… +0.01]

At first, Draziel felt nothing as the vitality attribute kept increasing by 0.01 but as his vitality attribute reached 1.97, he felt his body growing warmer and warmer.

He could feel an intoxicating warm stream of energy flowing through his body rapidly like a snake. The current started increasing bit by bit as it circulated his body, increasing his attribute.

[Vitality: 2.0! ]

Draziel's face flushed red and his body turned crimson like a shrimp on fire. His muscles trembled uncontrollably as he felt the previously tiny warm current coursing through his body suddenly blaze like wildfire.

"Bang!"

The glass cup within his palm fell to the ground and shattered. Draziel felt extremely hot, he couldn't hear a single sound as only the buzzing sound of his heart, pumping blood through his body filled his mind.

"THUMP!"

"THUMP!!"

"THUMP!!!"

It was as though his heart was about to explode as it slammed hard against his chest, pumping blazing hot blood.

He felt the pain in his chest as an itching feeling soon took over, feeling as though his broken ribs were healing.

Suddenly, he felt as though he could breathe again and he inhaled deeply. Along with his exhale, the extreme feeling he had been experiencing vanished with it.

Draziel opened his eyes slowly.

He could feel his eyesight seem to have strengthen and his listening range had improved.

That was the feeling! Although he hadn't experienced it before, various testimonies from several masters had reached his ears and they had described this feeling with one word, 'Indescribable!'

Now, that was a feeling a virtual game couldn't possibly replicate.

He had finally reached 2 points in his vitality attribute, something that he had been trying to reach for a very long time which is obvious by the scars all over his body

The first piece of information excited Draziel.

The genetic limit on agility and strength has been removed.

With this, doing exercise everyday could yield in astonishing result over time and that is without cap limit.

Now his exercises would yield more points than previously.

After the euphoria faded, Draziel wet the cloth again and drank the remaining water within the bottle, after which he placed the cloth back on his face.

Spotting a laptop backpack by the bedside, he took a new bottle of Vodka, packed three shirts of the male zombie clothes within, a lighter, three bottles of water from the freezer and then three bags of chips.

Seeing that the bag was slightly heavy and might disrupt him during combat, Draziel sighed through the clothing on his nose and tossed the vodka to the ground, closed the bag and exited the room.

He headed for the elevator, hoping it still works.

"Hey! You! Janitor!" A male voice shouted from one of the rooms, room 808.

"Cough! Cough!!"

"What's up with this fucking air!"

The man coughed desperately as he exited his half-closed door and called out towards Draziel.

Draziel paused and gazed back at the person.

He met a familiar face. It was Richard.

A stuck up rich staff that made sure everything went his way. Draziel had bumped into him a few times and by the end of their meetings, Draziel had imagined various scene with him. They weren't pleasant.

"Didn't you hear me calling you? What the hell is going on!? Everywhere started shaking as if we are under attack. My mini-bar, the chandeliers, my shelf and my god damn TV fell to the ground from the shaking. Fuck! I wasn't even done watching the por-uhm football yet. Hurry, come fix the damn TV, I need to finish watching the match."

Richard tilted his head towards his room and began walking but then, he realized Draziel wasn't following him.

"Hey, didn't you hear me?" He scowled.

"I'm just a janitor, not a technician." Draziel said with a wild grin on his face.

Richard sneered. "Janitor, technician, they are both lowly jobs anyways, so what's the difference. Come in here and check it out. Don't even think about keeping your job if you don't have this fixed for me."

Draziel smiled widened. Was this guy that dumb? He hadn't even noticed the situation.

"It's good that you know your place." Richard scoffed, leading Draziel to his room.

He then looked up, noticing the lights were flickering. "What's wrong with the lighting anyway? Is it because of the earthquake and what's with the awful air?" he scrunched up his nose, covering his nose with his robe.

Suddenly Richard felt someone yank him backwards by the hair. "W-what are you doing?"
