Chapter 1489: Their Return
-----
"Excellent. With this all my Familiars are at least ten times as strong," I nodded.
"Indeed! I am so happy you've been able to offer all the spirit energy!" said Divinity. "With this, you have inherited all of the power of the Ancient Summoners… I am sure they're smiling at what you've accomplished."
"Yeah…" I looked at the golden statues for a moment.
I felt strangely more connected to them than ever before…
"Alright, let's go back now, I should-"
FLASH!
"…?!"
I looked at the statues again, making the Divinity of Summoning confused.
"What's wrong?" she asked.
"Something… I felt something just now," I said.
"What? But there's nothing…?" she asked.
"It seems… they didn't reveal you everything," I said with a smirk.
"What?" she was confused, more than I imagined.
I walked forward, touching the statues, one after another, a single tap.
And then…
Crack… CRACK!
Cracks appeared through the golden statues, making the Divinity panic, grabbing her head in horror at what she was seeing.
"W-Wait a second! What did you do Master Blake?! Did you break the statues?! But the bonuses you gain will be lost!" she cried.
"Worry not," I said. "They will not be lost… I figured it out. I finally understood their legacy."
FLAAASH!
Bright golden colored spiritual energy surged from the cracks on their surfaces, as large pieces of gold fell to the floor like eggshell.
And then…
BOOOM!
An explosion of light engulfed everything for a moment, before we finally looked back, and amidst the smoke and the light.
Three figures stepped forward, moving on their own.
"Whew! I never imagined this could actually work! It sure was a gamble, eh guys?"
"Hmph, I always knew it would work. Blake proved himself to be more than capable of bringing everything together."
"Indeed! I am rather thrilled to finally meet him. Or well, talk with someone, it has been a few years after all."
Three different voices echoed from within the Summoning Palace…
And as I looked at them while the smoke dissipated, even though I knew it was them, I still could hardly believe it.
Especially when I felt the instant connection with them…
All three of them suddenly became bonded to my Spirit Orb.
They became my Spirits!
"I-I can't believe this…! All my masters…! Everyone?! How didn't I know about this?! Why didn't they tell me?!"
As Divinity started crying as she saw them, I glanced at them with a smile.
"Hellooo! Wow! It sure feels nice to be finally alive again! Heheh!"
A cheerful young woman smiled. She had short pink and red hair and pointy elven ears, with blue eyes, while wearing explorer clothes mostly made of brown leather, but also with a white and green blouse, and sandals. She carried with her a long wooden staff with a colorful egg-shaped stone on top of it, and she also wore a pink bonnet with white feathers.
This woman was Henrietta, the "Unseen Summoner", she reminded me a lot of Erika and her mother. Perhaps she was their ancestor, as she seems to also be an elf.
"Even after all of these years, the war against the demons continue… We must join together to finally stop this once and for all and protect this world."
The voice of a serious young man echoed. Tall and slender, with pale white skin, black eyes, and short black hair, he had an imposing, yet youthful figure, and his aura emanated shadows shaped as knights, dragons, and insectoid creatures all over. He was not a human of this world, but someone summoned here eons ago, who seemed to have grown to love this world.
The man was Hyung San Woo, the "Forgotten Summoner", a human from a Realm known as Korea, from a world known as Earth, perhaps related to the Earth the survivors from my trial came from, or perhaps it was completely unrelated.
He wore black jeans, a white shirt, and a black leather jacket, while carrying a pair of sheathed black daggers.
"Well, without everything we did, the people of Spiritias would be in an even worse position right now, right? Blake has worked very hard too."
And the last voice came from a slightly younger man amidst the three, with short brown hair, slightly tanned skin, and glowing emerald eyes. He had a youthful face and a slightly tall height, wearing a completely white cloak and a typical adventurer attire, clear brown leather pants, black leather boots, a white shirt, belts, and a floating book with eyes and wings by his side.
This man was perhaps the most famous of all the Summoners, and the one that sealed the Demon Towers in the past and also granted every single person in the word the ability to possess Spirit Orbs and have Spirits within them, before this, only monsters born from this world, imbued with enough spirit power, could crystalize such a core.
He was Allen, the "Summoner of Beginnings".
And by far, the strongest of the three.
"I-I can't believe this… my masters…" the divinity muttered. "You're really here?"
"Divinity, long time no see," Allen said with a smirk. "Yes, it us! Or well, a piece of us, that's all we could squeeze within your own Records."
"It worked, however," said Hyung San Woo. "It was all a plan that the Holy Spirits had."
"I'm so sorry we didn't tell you, all of us helped into it when the previous one told us…!" Henrietta said. "We knew Blake would be the fourth, and that in this era was where the Holy Spirits would be fully prepare for it…"
"The one summoned here by the King of all Demons, who would later turn against him," Allen smiled at me. "I never imagined this tale would become true until you appeared, Blake."
"So you knew about me even before I was born here?" I asked. "Hah… surprising, it seems you know a lot, more than I do."
"Oh yes, we do," Allen nodded.
