Chapter 314: 311. Clash of the titans (6)
Darkness, a deep darkness that made it impossible to hear, smell, feel, or even move.
That's what the titan was experiencing currently. It tried to use its growl, but nothing was able to come out of its body.
It was like the waters around it were pressing it together, making it difficult for it to move.
"You made a mistake challenging the God of this place, in his own place." Jude appeared in the creature's view, his eyes glowing a bright golden colour all through.
[Deep Abyss (Third class ranked):
Allows the user to seize control over the entire sea, turning it into a black world where you're omnipotent and omnipresent.
Costs a large amount of spirit energy to maintain.]
Jude left the trident, making it float above him.
He pointed his finger at the titan with a cold expression. In that instant, more than a thousand golden tridents appeared in the darkness, glowing brightly.
[Trident of the Abyss (Third class ranked):
Created a number of tridents equivalent in strength to the wielder's. With the Deep Abyss, attacks can channel as much strength as the user's spirit energy can carry.]
Jude smiled, looking down on the titan. All the tridents fell towards it, stabbing into its body and shattering the bones.
The sounds of explosions and cracks like broken glass reverberated around the ocean floor.
Jude smiled, chuckling lightly as he observed the helpless titan. The tridents completely shattered its adamantine-like skin, leaving its internal organs exploded.
Jude appeared beside its face, swinging his fist.
BANG!
Almost the entire side of the titan's face cracked like glass, its head flying to the side from the attack as well.
Jude continued his assault on the body while he kept punching the ugly face of the titan, smiling widely, enjoying every moment.
After more than a dozen punches Jude calmed down, looking at the titan from above. It was missing an arm, and half of its face had been torn and mutilated.
The creature turned to look at Jude, who made the gesture of picking a bow, summoning the trident beside him.
He pulled back, making the trident move back also.
"I'm not asking you for your last words, you don't deserve it." Jude smiled, releasing his hand.
A straight golden line appeared in the ocean, destroying several layers of monumental structures at the bottom of the sea.
[You have killed a third class creature; Deep Sea Carnivore.]
[You have earned...]
[You have earned...]
[Your use of spirit energy is astronomical. Warning the user to slow down.]
Jude deactivated the skill in that instant, turning the ocean back to normal.
The soldiers were finally able to move. Around them, there were hundreds whose bodies floated downwards.
The soldiers weren't focused on any of those right now, they were all looking up to their king.
"All Hail! God of Atlantis!"
"Glory!"
"Honor!"
"Glory!"
The soldiers responded with words of praise, and Jude turned around to catch Zur's eye.
Zur nodded to him, looking proud for some reason.
Jude raised his hand, looking at the rest of the army. They went silent as they saw his gesture.
"The fight is far from over! Rina, take half of the entire army, let the healthy ones take all the injured and dead ones back to Atlantis. The rest of you are with me." He commanded, turning around. "We're going to the surface."
Rina's lips twitched as she heard his words. She suspended in the water, glaring at Jude with an angry expression.
'How dare he?! I'm supposed to be leading the main fighting forces, not any of the guardians, her!'
"Damn it!" She cursed, going about gathering half of the army to help find the dead and injured to take them back to Atlantis.
Zur went towards Jude, along with the rest of the army and seven guardians who were very much alive.
"Good, you're all here. I've found the other four titans." Jude explained, looking at Zur.
"They are leading an army of their own. But mostly of just titans. Not much." He turned around, peering into the depths of the ocean.
"Where are they now?" Zur asked with a frown.
He could see the unease in Jude's eyes when he talked about the titans.
"Well, they're all going in directions of their own."
Zur's chill expression crumbled in that moment.
If all the titans indeed went in separate directions, they could all be targeting different camps.
But Jude was sure that there weren't any other camps around apart from the one that formed in Saint Petersburg.
'It has to be the doing of the second class.' He thought, letting out a breath.
Bubbles were let out of his mouth as he breathed out.
"How are we going to bring them together then? It'll take a long time to find all of them, and most of the soldiers can't stand up to a third class." Zur expressed his concerns.
But his concerns concerned the soldiers as well, and they began to murmur amongst each other.
"A third class?"
"Is the difference between the guardians and the third class much?"
"Is the creature the Lord was facing before a third class?"
"Are we going to die?"
"You'll die if you keep thinking about it!"
Jude smiled, looking at Zur.
In that moment, the soldiers, Zur, Jude, and every creature in the sea, felt a huge surge of spirit energy coming from a particular direction.
"Well, you asked how we'll draw them back together. Remember I told you that there was a plan? That's what's happening right now." Jude explained, shooting up towards the surface of the water.
On the shores of the beach in a ruined city, Dexter, Alexander, and Hannah stood at the edge of the sea.
Dexter stood directly in front of them, looking forward with a serious expression. The black spear was brandished in his hand as he was ready to defend the group from any sudden attacks.
A hand suddenly landed on his shoulder, and he looked sideways to see Rameses by his side, holding a glowing, golden spear in his hand.
Far into the horizon, massive silhouettes began to rise from the ocean.
