Chapter 1064: Let's Go Back

"What happened?" Xiao Ruo looked at Long Feiyun, hoping to get an answer from him. But Long Feiyun couldn't provide any answer.

While the two were still in shock, they discovered a few people hovering above them, including members of the Alliance. Given William's great reputation, Xiao Ruo and Long Feiyun undoubtedly recognized him.

In a flash, the two suddenly appeared in front of William.

The sudden appearance of two people in front of him caused William's face to change. His companions, Giles and Cook, were also ready to counterattack at the first moment.

"William, why are you here?" Xiao Ruo's tone was very unpleasant, carrying a hint of questioning.

"Why are you here?" William didn't like Xiao Ruo's questioning tone, and that attitude was extremely annoying to him, so he naturally responded with irritation.

"Courting death!" Without another word, Xiao Ruo directly attacked.

However, just as the two were about to fight, Shu and El immediately intervened between them, glaring at Xiao Ruo with displeasure, saying, "If you dare to make a move, don't blame us for being rude." With a hint of threat, an invisible Wind Force burst from Shu and El.

As a small conflict erupted between these people, someone sneaked into the Alliance Camp, intending to take advantage. However, as soon as they entered, they realized things were not as simple as they had imagined. A beast-like growl sounded in their ears, followed by a shadow suddenly appearing beside them.

Before they could discern who that shadow belonged to, they felt a tearing sensation coursing through their bodies, followed by descending darkness and the terrifying shouts of those around them. They couldn't understand why the world suddenly turned dark, nor what was causing the fear in those beside them. He simply closed his eyes, and the world went silent: no more sounds, no more sights, no more smells.

A huffing sound came from Yi Tian's mouth, with blood dripping slowly from his bloodstained hands. Each drop hit the ground, forming a puddle of blood with an unsettling sound, crisply chilling everyone to their core. He glanced up slightly at Xiao Ruo and others in mid-air, then turned and rushed back into the camp to continue the slaughter. He wouldn't stop until everyone in the camp was dead.

The cries of pain and fear echoed again, shaking everyone's hearts.

A hidden child watched Yi Tian with a face full of shock. Though he admitted he had killed many, he had never done anything so bloody. One person alone slaughtered the entire Alliance Camp with extreme cruelty. When the last person was torn to pieces and tossed into the blood pool, Yi Tian finally stopped his actions, standing there in a daze, as if his soul had been utterly crushed by some severe blow.

Standing like a puppet, the blood on his hands dripped continuously, providing the only sound in the suddenly quiet camp, an eerily terrifying sound. Heavy breaths heaved from Yi Tian's nose, gradually dissipating. The sound echoed in the camp, carrying the scent of blood.

The lingering aura of slaughter still hung thick, almost nauseating.

A wall, two worlds, two quiet worlds, one filled with bright red, the other shrouded in darkness. Thick blood flowed along the ground outside, past people's feet. The noises had initially left the people outside stunned, not realizing blood was flowing over their feet. They stood there, as if in anticipation of the noise returning.

Yet the sound didn't reappear. It was as if some beast had devoured all sound from the world in an instant, leaving only a deathly silence.

Time passed by second by second; to those outside, it felt as though thousands of years had gone by. No one dared to leave; it wasn't that they didn't want to, but they were afraid to move. They feared alarming the demon inside who killed without batting an eye. Nobody wanted to die, especially not in such a gruesome way.

Yi Tian suddenly began to tremble, standing in the quiet camp, in the pool of blood, his body shaking uncontrollably. His shoulders shook violently, and tears appeared on his terrifying, blood-covered face, as if he was enduring immense pain.

But the pain in his chest wasn't something that could be endured just like that.

Even though he had exhausted all his Qi, vented all his anger, the pain in his chest exploded without reservation, spreading bit by bit, encompassing his entire body. A low wailing sound came from his throat, like a sound made when someone's neck is being forcibly strangled. Then the sound grew louder and louder, ultimately evolving into a roar.

"Ah!!!!!!"

He opened his mouth, letting out a heart-rending howl, tears gushing out, covering his already blood-soaked terrifying face. Clenching his fists, his fingernails dug deeply into his flesh, and bright red blood oozed from his fingers. He kept howling, his voice piercing the sky.

Under this howl, the thick scent of blood dispersed instantly, and the moonlight, once stained with blood, turned pale again. A sobbing wind blew over, carrying away the scent of blood, leaving a chilling atmosphere behind. Despite being a single prolonged and hoarse howl, it clearly expressed the grief in Yi Tian's heart.

After much effort to wrest Yi Yun from the Alliance's hands, he still couldn't save him in the end.

Yi Tian resented, hated himself for being useless, hated himself for being so late in bringing Yi Yun back. If he had been faster, if he had brought Yi Yun back earlier, if he hadn't left someone at home that day, none of this would have happened. But there is no medicine for regret; such a thing absolutely doesn't exist in this world.

With the wail, the previously tense atmosphere instantly dissipated, revealing a grayscale hue over the scene. Those remaining outside, upon sensing initial relief, were immediately overwhelmed by this heavy sorrow. Their faces turned ashen, and some silently wept.

Sighing, the child understood that the matter was temporarily over, but Yi Tian's path might become even more difficult. Slaughtering everyone in the Alliance Camp single-handedly not only sent Yi Tian's name far and wide but also permanently enmired him in conflict with the Alliance. But Yi Tian and the Alliance were already locked in an irresolvable enmity, so it didn't really matter.

Xiao Ruo and Long Feiyun, however, were clueless; they didn't know why Yi Tian suddenly became so grief-stricken, or what he was mourning. The only thing they could deduce was that it was likely related to the person Yi Tian had brought back.

Shu and El slowly descended, landing beside Yi Tian. Shu lightly placed a hand on Yi Tian's shoulder, saying, "Yi Tian, let's go back." His voice choked on the words, after which he fell silent, afraid to continue lest he burst into tears.

But Yi Tian suddenly stopped making a sound, staring blankly at Shu and El, making low noises, seemingly trying to speak. But before he could say anything, his body suddenly collapsed into the pool of blood. A night of rushing, a night of slaughter; even if Yi Tian were made of iron, he couldn't withstand such exhaustion, especially not after experiencing the pain of losing a brother. The psychological blow was even worse.

As soon as Yi Tian fell, Xiao Ruo and Long Feiyun let out a startled cry. They rushed to Yi Tian's side, lifted him, and headed towards their camp. This time, no one attempted to stop them. Shu, El, and the others hurriedly followed, equally concerned about Yi Tian's condition.
