Triple X System

So he's like your puppet. Kyle asked staring at the mimic void of any life. He was a bit bummed out he didn't get the kill but still he was happy and proud for his parents.

Puppet? Ron stuttered with a confused look scratching his head a bit.

He.. no puppet. He.. slave. Xia softly giggled in a distorted manner.

Slave.. even better. Kyle sighed a bit frustrated at himself.

Since becoming a demon he'd thought he was invincible with Lilith by his side. But only when he'd lost everything did he realize he was indeed the biggest fool.

But like always the universe gave him a second chance with the assistance of his demon wife transporting him here. And as if that was enough he found a high level artifact. Which greatly aided him in his most battles back in Lumia kingdom.

But as always just as life had it's ways of giving him second chances so did it take it away from him. And kick him while still down.

[Don't tell me you're jealous of your parents?] Snow teased making Kyle grunt more puffing his cheeks.

Using his enhanced vision and snow's help, he navigated his way out from the hall. Which immediately disappeared like it was never there.

Bringing out the map the images of where he'd been slowly appeared on it along with the names on top.

That's new it's like the map is updating itself. He thought not seeing these there before. He didn't know how and didn't really care much but still. It was a great help he needed to turn to in times of situations like this.

So we're still in sandhill Castle. He sighed in relief glad to know they weren't lost or magically shifted from Lumia kingdom.

And it says here we just passed the hall of deceit. He read out loud seeing the exact picture of the hall in the map. And a little bit up he could also see two more of the sub locations.

The next being a labyrinth of reflection and the last being the lair of the fallen.

Isn't this my lucky day. He sarcastically said rolling his eyes. When embarking on this journey he knew he was in a time of his life.

But never had he expected to encounter all the surprises he did. The best being reuniting with his parents and finally seeing Lilith in hell.

I'll name you grim. Xia spoke in a rather excited tone earning a side glance from Kyle.

And I thought I was crazy.

[Maybe it runs in the family.] Snow playfully spoke to which Kyle simply laughed over. Walking some more they could see the exit to the dark prison in front.

Screech!

A loud screech made the group stop in their tracks. Shaking this passage threatening to fall from the powerful outburst of raw power.

Could it be the queen ant? Kyle thought feeling the intense pressure from the screech.

He could sense there wasn't any other beast present here to which snow confirmed. And this screech was above the like of the red and black ants.

[Kyle am detecting some movement over there.] Snow said printing Kyle to kick a small stone towards the entity direction.

Bam. Just when it seemed the stone was going to hit the wall it stopped midway. Blocked by an invisible force.

Damn it they're already here. Kyle cursed unsheathing the katana. His face a mix of anger and exhaustion from constant battles.

Am lucky stamina regeneration costs XXX points or I'd have been dead by now.

He inwardly smiled as he'd been secretly purchasing stamina regeneration. Which costs XXX points rejuvenating his stamina.

But still he wasn't immune to fatigue and would soon end up caught by the strains he put his body through.

Screech! the ants screeched coming at them with full force. Their legs rapidly moving on the ground.

Mom, dad.. we have company.. Kyle uttered to which xia and Ron nodded. Their eyes sharp with precision.

Swoosh! Without warning xia moved forward plunging her dark spiked arm in Kyle's front.

Screech! What followed was an ant's screech with it's body slowly revealing itself.

Black ants? Did these one's undergoe some kind of transfortation? Kyle thought recalling these ants couldn't turn invisible.

Attempting to break free it couldn't under xia's spike arm plunged in it's head. Adding more strength the mid way in spike potruded out the other end.

Thanks mom. Kyle smiled gently tapping xia's head earning soft purrs from her. Moving out they faced off against the black ants. Xia and Ron easily detecting the ants working as a team picking an ant. Then inflicting damage to it whilist dodging it's attacks.

Even with kirlin eyes being passive I still can't spot the ants without snow. Kyle thought watching his parents go.

Kirlin eyes being a rare passive skill allowed him to see 5% into the future. Though it sounded good it wasn't really as effective in this stage.

Not working most times though being passive. Thus greatly limiting it's potentials amongst Kyle other skills.

they must posses a skill like kirlin eyes. He theorized planning to ask them when he got the chance. As he, a demon with enhanced eyesight couldn't see the ants but somehow his parents just could.

Slashing the katana in an arc he severed two of the black ants head in front. Swiftly parrying another hit with the katana by his side.

It's not dead. He had expected the his attack would kill the ant. But apparently it didn't only leaving it sounded. With a deep slash mark to it's head.

Screech! The ant abruptly let out a loud screech. Making Kyle raise a brow feeling no damage or effect whatsoever.

[That screech it's a cry. Quick! Kill it before it alerts the queen!] Snow urged to which Kyle nodded. Acting fast and slamming his fist to the ant's head sending it to the ground. Then following up by plung the katana deep into it's skull.

Do you sense the queen ant? Kyle inwardly asked not feeling a change in the atmosphere or a dominant aura nearby.

[No. Based on my calculations the call wasn't able to reach a 5 meter radius. So it shouldn't have reached her, though I wouldn't put my hopes high.] Snow replied.

They really do make a great pair. A light smile formed on Kyle's face watching his parents take care of the 2 black ants.

He had thought about helping them but apparently they were doing just fine. Effortlessly predicting the black ants location when invisible. Then skilfully acting as a team landing hits to the ants while blocking or dodging theirs.

Why do I feel a sickening feeling from him. Kyle thought staring at the pale mimic. Indifferently staring down with a lifeless expression.

Though according to xia he was now their slave via the strange black goo. But he still felt uncomfortable having the mimic around.

Bam! A huge explosion pulled him from his gaze. Looking towards towards the cause his eyes twitched slightly feeling an immense pressure burst out.

Boom! Another bomb like explosion erupted from the hole blasting nearby objects sending them back.

It's the queen ant. Kyle cursed struggling to breathe under the insane amount of aura pressing him down. He knew it was no doubt the queen ant guilty of this terrifying aura.

But what was more shocking was the fact he couldn't move under this pressure. Despite having an incredible high amount of stats with the katana buffs.

Tilting his head a bit to the side he also saw xia and Ron were struggling to stand.

Human.. a voice spoke in a low tone barely audible.

D-did it just speak? He had heard read of high ranked beasts gaining the ability to speak but he didn't actually think it was possible. Considering their physiology it shouldn't be possible but somehow it was.

Before his eyes an ant emerged from the big hole. It was bigger than the rest reaching an incredible 8 feet tall with a robust body. Having a distinguishing snowy white skin compared to the previous red and black ants. It's legs planted firmly into the ground with it's razor sharp mandibles on display.

Stopping by the hole it didn't advance further which was weird as Kyle had expected it to capitalize on them. But it didn't staring at them with it's two dark eyes with an intrigued look.

You're.. not hu-mans. It abruptly uttered taking Kyle aback confirming his suspicions.

Says an 8 feet tall beast. Kyle retorded with a light smirk. Not responding the ant then averted his gaze from him to xia and ron.

Those two.. interesting. The queen ant telepathically spoke appearing in front of xia and ron. Two of it's front legs descending fast to xia and Ron with mind blowing speed.

Bam! A gunshot sound went off as a figure flew back in a straight line trailing some dust.

What just happened? Kyle thought. One moment he could see the ant standing there and the next it was front of his parents.

Kyle.. xia shouted rushing over to check up on him along with Ron. Letting out a sigh of relief Kyle braced them tightly happy they were safe.

Wait.. if you guys didn't do that then who- he paused staring at the mimic just two steps from them.
