Trembling At A High Altitude

"I'm really not, please don't, Anna, this hurts my feelings." Elsa started crying.

"I have no feelings for you," Anna replied coldly to Elsa.

"Sigh... this is really no fun," Gao Fei sighed.

The Bunny Girl was still somewhat dazed, to her, all this was indeed too cruel. In her first scene, before even understanding the situation, she jumped straight into high difficulty.

"Then let's not waste words, let's start with you!" Anna walked over to Du Qing.

"I'm really not a collaborator! What good does beating me do?" Du Qing shouted loudly.

Without saying a second word, Anna threw several punches directly at Du Qing's eyeballs, bursting them, leaving him unable to see anything.

"Du Qing, you absolutely cannot confess! I know you don't have many points left in your account. If you are with our camp and we lose, your points will become negative, and you'll die on the spot!" Huang Xun, unable to see, shouted vehemently at Du Qing.

"Bastards like you are in the same camp! I'm a revolutionary!" Overwhelmed by pain, Du Qing cursed without reserve.

"You're a revolutionary? Bullshit! Wasn't Mickey the traitor leader's inside man in the last scene? After liberation, he can renew his image? Who are you trying to fool?" Huang Xun immediately debunked Du Qing's claim with the plot's logic.

"Are you sick or something? The identity I drew isn't a collaborator!" Du Qing now hated Huang Xun to death.

As the two cursed each other, Anna went into the room, brought out a stove, and started heating up an iron.

Soon, Du Qing screamed miserably again.

His screams were no less than Liu Huang's at that moment.

The interrogation room turned directly into Hell.

Of course, being merciful to the traitor leader and his minions, as well as to collaborators, is being irresponsible to the people.

After being tortured for twenty minutes, Du Qing was covered in blood, barely clinging to life.

Anna set him aside and started tormenting Elsa.

Before tormented Elsa, Anna took out a piece of paper and showed the few lines written on it to Elsa, Gao Fei, and Daisy for them to see.

All three nodded.

With his eyes burst by Anna, Du Qing obviously couldn't see it.

"Anna, I admit I shouldn't have flirted with Donna, this is all my fault. It wasn't my intention to destroy your relationship, but I'm really not a collaborator. I am a loyal soldier, and I would never let matters of the heart influence my cause," Elsa spoke reason to Anna.

It was clear that a storyline was triggered; she heard the prompt in her earpiece.

"Stop pretending! I've seen through your impure motives long ago! You destroyed me! Today I'm going to destroy you, traitor!" Anna recited the dialogue prompted by the storyline and then started attacking Elsa.

"Stop it! This is too much! Please stop hitting me... Ah..."

Liu Huang, the blind Huang Xun, and Du Qing could clearly hear the sizzling sound of the iron pressing on flesh, and Elsa's heart-wrenching screams.

"Anna, this is going too far, stop it..." Gao Fei started persuading her.

"Will you confess? Will you confess?" Anna's voice was fierce and demanding.

"Li Teng, save me! Anna's gone mad!" Elsa cried out loudly for help, not even caring about the lines anymore, directly calling for Li Teng instead of Donna.

Of course, that wasn't a line, just her instinctively calling for help.

Li Teng, who was busy beside Liu Huang, stopped for a moment, as if hesitant about whether to go over and intercede with Anna. But in the end, he didn't.

Twenty minutes later, Elsa's cries for help and sobbing grew weaker, and she seemed to be tortured almost to the point of death.

Then it was Gao Fei's turn.

Soon, everyone heard Gao Fei's agonized screams, even louder and more heartbreaking than the ones he made when he was tortured by Feng Dahai in the previous scene.

"Hahaha... look at you now! Did you think clinging to Li Teng's coattails would keep you safe? He never saw you as a person! At most, he's in cahoots with Anna, and you are nothing but cannon fodder in their hands," Huang Xun said, noticeably pleased upon hearing Gao Fei's screams.

"Li Teng, I swear I'm not a Collaborator. Can you plead with Anna for me? We're good brothers..." Gao Fei cried out, begging Li Teng loudly.

"If you knew this day would come, why did you bother before? You're such a fool! You consider others as brothers, but do you think they see you the same way? He won't stop Anna. Right now, he just wants to find the evidence to satisfy his own desires. Can't you see that you're expendable? You're so stupid!" Huang Xun couldn't help but exclaim loudly.

Twenty minutes later, Gao Fei too was at his last gasp.

Then it was the Bunny Girl's turn.

"Li Teng! I treated you to a big meal once, and you promised to look out for me! She's going to hit me! You're not going to go back on your word, right?" Bunny Girl screamed in utter terror.

"Girl, don't confess! You're new, with no points in your account. You must have been swindled by that scumbag Li Teng, ending up in the negative, right? If you're on our side, confessing would mean certain death! Don't trust that scumbag; you aren't the first one he's duped to death!" Huang Xun, having confessed already and fearing no beating, was stirring the pot, fighting for victory for his faction.

"Anna! Don't lay a hand on her! I promised to protect her!" Li Teng spoke out somewhat helplessly after hearing Daisy's words, and had to shout a few times outside the curtain.

"She's highly suspicious. If she's a Collaborator and we miss this clue, you'll lose your chance to kill the Black-hearted Doctor forever. You'll be subject to his revenge later, and it could be tenfold or a hundredfold worse. Think carefully," Anna warned Li Teng a few times.

"A man must stand by his word to be credible. I made her a promise, and I must honor my word. You can move on the others, but not her," Li Teng still refused Anna.

"What a useless man! Incapable of doing great things! I misjudged you!" Anna's voice.

"Anna has gone mad!" Elsa's voice.

"Sigh..." Gao Fei's voice as he sighed.

And there were Daisy's screams of agony, along with her tearful complaints of disappointment in Li Teng.

"Hahahahaha... it's starting to be dog eat dog! How exciting! Too bad I can't see it." Huang Xun laughed triumphantly.

After a while, Li Teng came back, bedraggled and with a swollen face, looking like he hadn't stood a chance against Anna, and could only vent his rage on Liu Huang.

Liu Huang's screams were even more piercing.

An hour passed by.

On one side, Anna continued to torture the four people hanging up, each in turn, while on the other, Li Teng's methods kept escalating.

In the beginning, Li Teng held back, but now he gradually intensified his actions, specifically targeting the places where Liu Huang felt most pain, cutting bit by bit.

Clearly, Li Teng had come to understand quite well where it would hurt the most.

Liu Huang couldn't hold on much longer, giving in much sooner than Li Teng had anticipated.

"I confess..." Liu Huang finally spoke.

"No, no! You have to hold on! If you confess, we're all done for!" Huang Xun panicked.

"Damn it! You try being tortured like this?! Anyway, there are still two Collaborators; as long as they don't confess, we'll be fine!" Liu Huang reasoned with himself for confessing, as he couldn't bear the pain any longer.

"You better think this through! If you don't hold out, they sure won't hold out for you!" Huang Xun continued to persuade.

"If I'm going to die, we'll all die together! It's not like I'm the only one!" Liu Huang continued to justify himself.

Li Teng took off Huang Xun's shoes, tore off his socks along with the ones he had pulled off Liu Huang earlier, bundled them together, then fiercely stuffed them into Huang Xun's mouth, immediately preventing Huang Xun from speaking.

The rules only specified that the torture must stop after a confession, but they didn't say anything about not gagging someone's mouth.
