Chapter 78: Buns
Didn't that mean he could use this so-called "companion card" to summon the Black-hearted Doctor to the cast and make the Black-hearted Doctor an actor in the same group?
If the plot were suitable, he might be able to torment the Black-hearted Doctor during the performance before turning him into a wax figure.
He just didn't know whether turning into a wax figure would settle the matter once the person is dead, possibly excusing him from his 999-point loan? At least the part taken by the Black-hearted Doctor could be excused, right?
Otherwise, the burden was just too heavy.
After querying, Li Teng saw some decorative round stones in the flowerpot next to the terminal. Suddenly, he thought of something, feeling that one of the stones was nicely shaped and could have some clever use, so he picked it up and put it in his pocket.
After completing the necessary formalities, the director took Li Teng and Anna back to the set on a charter flight.
The eight members of the cast gathered again outside the coffee shop.
The filming of "Lurking War Wolf" also officially ended.
Feng Dahai became the only actor to be wax-sealed after the performance ended.
"Violating the rules by self-destructing! Surviving Hell Mode with a BUG! I don't believe there's no trickery!" Feng Dahai was incredibly angry.
If Li Teng and Anna had failed in Hell Mode, he would have felt much better mentally. He was wax-sealed, but at least he would have dragged two others down with him, but now those two had returned just fine, and he was the only one to be wax-sealed!
"Are you angry? Drop dead angry!" Li Teng watched Feng Dahai with a smile.
"Damn it all!" Feng Dahai cursed loudly.
"Quiet!" The director was very displeased with Feng Dahai's public swearing.
"Shit!" Despite being upset, Feng Dahai could do nothing.
Ever since he forcefully stole Huang Xun's steamed bun, two Film and Television City guards had been escorting him constantly, his hands handcuffed behind his back. If he showed any abnormal behavior, the two guards would immediately pin him to the ground, ensuring his face got acquainted with the pavement.
"Director, even death row inmates get a decent meal. At least unlock these handcuffs and give me something to eat. I'm so hungry I could eat a horse!" Feng Dahai brought it up before being wax-sealed.
The shooting was over, and staying in Film and Television City was considered enjoyable for the other actors.
But not for Feng Dahai.
Without points, he had no food and was constantly suffering from hunger.
Stealing Huang Xun's steamed bun, though he bit into it a few times, he didn't even swallow before he was electrocuted, and since then his hands had been kept cuffed.
Now, he was really desperate.
"You can buy it yourself with points." The director replied to Feng Dahai.
"I originally had over a hundred points, but they were all deducted! If I still had points, would I be starving like this? Just give me something to eat, even snacks will do!" Feng Dahai shouted.
"No." The director rejected Feng Dahai.
"Brothers, I lost this challenge for you guys, and now I'm leaving. Could you at least send me off? Nothing fancy, just buy a few steamed buns." Feng Dahai had to plead with Du Qing and Huang Xun.
"For us? You have the nerve to say that! You screwed up on your own! You even caused us to lose points, and now our accounts are almost wiped clean, how could we have points to buy you food?" Huang Xun immediately refused Feng Dahai.
"I'm not refusing to help you, I really don't have any points left." Du Qing feigned an apologetic face.
"No matter how out of points, each person could spare one point to buy me three steamed buns, right? Damn it! We're from the same guild, the same faction, don't let outsiders look down on us!" Feng Dahai couldn't believe how ruthless these two were.
Du Qing remained silent, pretending not to hear.
"How can you be so selfish? Just looking out for yourself! You're about to be wax-sealed anyway, will starving for a few more minutes kill you? We still need to survive, if we give you our points, how will we live on? Can't you be a bit more reasonable?" Huang Xun argued with Feng Dahai.
"Talk about your damn reasoning! You backstabber! I'm truly blind for choosing you as a collaborator! If it weren't for you, any random person would have sufficed and wouldn't have led to a loss! Damn it! Running into you is truly the greatest misfortune of my life!" Feng Dahai was nearly bursting with anger from Huang Xun's retorts.
"Silence!" Seeing that the situation was about to spiral out of control, the director spoke again.
"Ladies, please have pity on me and buy me some steamed buns!" Feng Dahai, having received no response from Huang Xun and Du Qing, had no choice but to turn to Elsa, Daisy, and others.
The three women ignored him.
They had all suffered at his hands before, so even the most sympathetic person wouldn't feel sorry for someone like him at this point.
"I have a bun here, do you want to eat it?" Surprisingly, Li Teng, who hadn't been asked by Feng Dahai and had the deepest conflict with him, took out a cold bun from his pocket and handed it to Feng Dahai.
"What's it filled with?" Feng Dahai knew Li Teng had no good intentions, suspecting that the bun might contain excrement or perhaps a sewing needle or something of the sort. He didn't believe that Li Teng would be so kind as to offer him a bun.
"It's filled with sesame, do you want to eat it or not?" Li Teng moved the bun closer to Feng Dahai.
Feng Dahai's stomach growled, finding the bun in front of him very tempting.
His hands were handcuffed behind his back, so he couldn't reach out to take the bun or peel it open to see.
"If you won't eat, then never mind." Li Teng was about to take the bun back.
"I'll eat!" Feng Dahai opened his mouth wide.
He was so hungry that even if the bun was filled with excrement, he had decided to swallow it in one gulp to avoid dying a "Hungry Ghost."
"Too late." Li Teng withdrew the bun and took a bite out of half of it, then held it out to Feng Dahai.
"It's sesame, very sweet. Too sweet, not delicious." Li Teng showed Feng Dahai the bitten-open bun.
"I don't mind the sweetness." Like a turtle, Feng Dahai suddenly stretched his neck, ready to take a big bite of the bun Li Teng had bitten into.
But Li Teng was prepared and quickly pulled the bun back, not giving Feng Dahai any chance.
"Even if you don't mind, I'm not giving it to you now! You didn't want it when I offered it kindly at first! Now you want it? Too late." Li Teng stuffed the remaining half of the bun into his mouth in one go.
"Damn it!" Feng Dahai burst with anger again.
"So despicable! This man is too despicable! Mocking a dying man, it's completely shameless!" Huang Xun recalled the time Li Teng had a cookie in his hand, claiming to offer it, yet gripped it so tightly. Fortunately, he had not reached for it, or he would have just been mocked.
"Want a meat bun?" Li Teng then took another bun from his pocket and held it close to Feng Dahai's lips.
This time, he held it very close, almost touching Feng Dahai's lips.
"Eat!"
Feng Dahai knew Li Teng was mocking him, but with the bun so close to his lips, he, of course, decided to bite a large piece. With such close proximity, Li Teng wouldn't be able to pull it back in time once he actually bit down.
This time Li Teng was indeed careless and didn't pull back in time, allowing Feng Dahai to bite fiercely into the bun using all his strength.
"Ah!! Ah!!!"
Intense pain, screams.
Feng Dahai felt as though his front teeth had shattered.
What the hell is this? This is clearly a stone!
This time Li Teng had indeed handed him a stone. He had gutted a meat bun, leaving only a thin layer of the bun's crust, and then wrapped a round stone with it.
Feng Dahai bit into it fiercely, using too much force, causing his front teeth to shatter instantly.
"Tsk tsk tsk... All that for a bun? Was it necessary to use so much force?" Li Teng looked at Feng Dahai, his face full of mocking laughter.
