Trembling At A High Altitude

"You're going too far with this!" the white woman told the white man who was busying himself leaning over.

"I was trying to save her. I thought doing this might wake her up," the white man defended.

"But from what I see, she's getting weaker under your manhandling. Can you stop it?" the white woman called out the white man's lies.

"Anyway… Anyway, she's about to die, so why not make use of her while we can!" the white man continued to make excuses as he manhandled her.

Under the white man's rough treatment, Kawashima Fangfang, already at death's door, became even weaker.

Finally, amidst the white man's fury, Kawashima Fangfang, like a small boat in a storm's waves, completely sank to the ocean floor, stopping her breath.

"Awesome." The white man stood up, his expression one of complete satisfaction.

On the other side of the amusement park, which seemed to be the direction where Li Teng and his two companions were, a thunderous roar was heard, followed by the earth shaking.

Eight people split into two groups, one group of five and another of three.

And there were tea cups, little airplanes, hot air balloons, and various other children's rides.

The visitors in the children's area were mostly parents with children. Some were family units of three, others were mothers with their children, and of course, some were grandmothers or grandmas who had brought their kids to play.

The still images looked somewhat eerie, yet the children's screams were continuous.

The operation of the amusement rides was also continuous.

"No," both shook their heads.

"It's already late at night, so if you have something to say, you can tell me now," Li Teng leaned in close to the merchant and whispered to him.

'Ding Dong!'

A game coin fell out from the bag behind the merchant and rolled onto the ground.

Li Teng quickly picked it up.

It was identical to the gold coin he already had in his hand—an Amusement Gold Coin!

What luck! The hard search came to an effortless end!

"Right, we agreed to determine the owner of the coin through rock-paper-scissors, didn't we?" Li Teng remembered the agreement from earlier and asked the other two.

"Mhm mhm," Aila and Yang Shunli quickly agreed.

It didn't matter to them that Li Teng found the coin; besides, Li Teng was the most physically robust. If Li Teng refused to follow the rules they had agreed upon, they couldn't do much about it.

But Li Teng didn't seem to want to bully them.

"Shall the three of us play together?" Li Teng confirmed the rules.

"We'll play together, eliminating one person first, then the other two will play for the win," Aila nodded her head.

With that settled, they began to play rock-paper-scissors.

All three hands shot out swiftly.

In the instant they extended their hands, Li Teng saw two of Yang Shunli's fingers twitch, while Aila didn't seem like she was going to move her fingers at all.

Without a doubt, Yang Shunli played scissors, and Aila played rock.

Ordinary people didn't possess such keen observation skills or fast reaction times.

With over a thousand years of training, Li Teng's reflexes didn't fail him, and he decided to throw rock in that instant.

Because his reaction was quick and he played fast, Li Teng's rock even managed to precede the others', and they couldn't tell that Li Teng had waited to see their hands before throwing his own.

Yang Shunli was eliminated.

Then, it was between Li Teng and Aila for the win.

In the moment Aila played, Li Teng saw that it was paper.

So, striking with anticipation, he played scissors.

Li Teng won undisputedly, securing the first Amusement Gold Coin.

Was that cheating?

Li Teng thought the question was rather complex and not easy to answer.

"Could he have more Amusement Gold Coins on him?" Aila looked at the merchant with a hesitant expression.

Li Teng remained silent, feeling that the fall of the gold coin was probably related to his recent conversation with the merchant.

Would forcing a search on these merchants and tourists trigger some sort of trap?

If Aila wanted to try, Li Teng wouldn't object. After all, someone always had to be the cannon fodder.

"That… that… that... Stay away! Stay back!"

Yang Shunli suddenly started screaming in horror, looking in a certain direction.

Li Teng and Aila followed the direction Yang Shunli was looking.

The ghost had flashed by, and Aila soon recovered from the shock.

Then, her attention returned to the vendor.

A moment ago, after Li Teng whispered a few words to the vendor, he received an Amusement Gold Coin. Could it be that the vendor had more of these coins?

After hesitating for a while, Aila still did not search the vendor.
