NOVEL NEXT Chapter 32: Viktor and Elaine ... (2)
Viktor and Elaine entered the dungeon cautiously not knowing what laid infront of them. They didn't know what fate awaited them inside the dungeon.
As soon as the pair's back completely disappear into the darkness of the dungeon, I greet the newest members of my dungeon exploration team. My newly incubated skeleton soldier and skeleton archer were also integrated into the plan.
They gave me three hours of tense moments without even a break. All of my attention went to what the pair was doing. I was alert to the full extent. I could not have been more alert. I didn't even make a small movements lest they be alert. I had to give them a big surprise as they had presented me with three hours.
DING.... DING .... DING
SKELETON SOLDIER INCUBATED....
A skeleton soldier appeared infront of me. It didn't look any different from the skeleton soldier that was inside the dungeon. I looked at it for the last time to see if there was any differences but none could be found.
Without wasting any more time I opened the skeleton archer fruit.
DING.... DING .... DING.....
SKELETON ARCHER INCUBATED....
A skeleton archer appeared infront of me in the same way the skeleton soldier appeared. I gave it a quick look and ordered it to work according to the ambush plan.
Wasting too much time checking out the skeleton soldier and skeleton archer would delay the grand present for Viktor and Elaine. They must be eager thinking about the big present being prepared for them, I chuckled.
[Inside the dungeon]
" Achooo..... Someone is thinking about me badly Viktor. " Elaine boldly stated making cute laughs with her cheeks red, snort flowing out of nose. She was very afraid of the darkness which she wanted to hide from Viktor as she did not have completely trust over him. She wanted to know what Viktor was thinking and showed a playful, vulnerable character to put Viktor's guard down. She thought of Viktor as a grumpy man, always on the edge and not wanting to talk to her much outside answering some of her questions. She didn't like Viktor's attitude towards her as she was accustomed to men gathering around her and wanting to talk to her.
" Yaaa.. It must be your imaginary boyfriend that you talk about so much. " Viktor replied seemingly annoyed. A sense of danger plagued Viktor the moment he arrived at this place but he could not pin point the exact problem so he was going with the flow. But his sixth sense had been going on like crazy since he had entered the dungeon keeping him on edge. He was annoyed by the continuous attempts of Elaine at making conversations. He thought they should be stealth and hide their presence as much as possible but Elaine's loud yapping made it harder. He had a bad premonition and Elaine's presence always kept him at edge. He felt like he was being tied by chains and could not perform his 100% at the moment.
Elaine felt like her voices were being blocked by something unable to reach Viktor's ear. She didn't think she was being ignored by Viktor at all. Her superiority complex compelled her to stop talking. Viktor also felt relieved and started to look at the details of the surrounding.
Viktor had some knowledge of the dungeon as he always checked on world chat. There was a world chat used by very few people like Viktor and even Elaine was unaware of the presence of this world chat.
They would use world chat to trade useful informations like some monsters and how to kill them or some magical place that had floating mountains. He had even traded the map in his pockets for some shining rocks that were evolution material for some professions.
They were steadily moving forward inside the dungeon. They were far from reaching the ambush or rather grand present I had prepared for them.
Viktor was little suspicious as he knew about dungeons and thought they should have encountered dungeon mobs but their journey till now was as smooth as butter. Even such anomaly could not make the cautious Viktor too much suspicious as he thought this dungeon to be of some odd kind like the one dungeon with nothing but a treasure chest inside.
Viktor and Elaine moved towards their grand present steadily. Viktor's guard was totally down while he was suspicious of Elaine too but didnt give it much thought. And Elaine also seemed relaxed as Viktor suddenly became much eaiser to talk to.
