Treasure Hunting System: The Ocean Conquerer

Chapter 175 Imitation and Joining_3

Since Julia couldn't do it, there's a high chance Jason can't either.

But no matter what, holding onto a 'just in case' mentality, Alka pushed the flag over in front of Jason.

Jason didn't hesitate either; he reached out and poured his Magic Power into it, but this time he was sent flying straight out.

"Looks like it's still not working. We'll just have to wait, wait until your aura fades away completely."

Alka said this as he put the flag back on himself.

Originally, he had wanted the team to strengthen themselves and get to know their Treasure a bit better before leaving the Homeland Sea.

But it seems they'll have to wait a while now.

Then Alka said, "There are still four months until the day of convergence. Everyone should get ready in these four months.

Say your goodbyes properly, and if any of your friends or family want to become a Touched, you can come to me, no need to be shy."

After all, Alka now had two Treasures and could help some of his teammates' friends and family be enlightened, without having to trouble others.

As he spoke, Alka looked at everyone, and they silently nodded.

This time leaving might be a farewell forever; it's important to settle everything before leaving, leaving no regrets.

"Alright then, let's break up for now."

After he finished, everyone left to do their own things, preparing for the journey ahead.

Alka also returned to his room to rest.

...

The next morning.

When Alka came into the living room, everyone was already awake, including Juanlu.

Jason was talking to him about something.

When Alka came down the stairs, Juanlu stood up and looked at him.

Seeing this situation, a smile appeared on Alka's face.

Looks like Juanlu had already made up his mind—Alka had thought he'd need some time to think things through, but apparently just one night was enough.

He hoped a night's time was enough for him to think it over seriously.

As Alka walked up, Juanlu nodded at him seriously and said, "I spent the whole night thinking, and in the end, I still want to keep climbing higher. For the dream of moving forward, I will join you."

Hearing this, a smile broke out on Alka's face, and the others grinned from the heart as well.

Finally, they'd get to taste Juanlu's cooking at every meal—there's nothing happier than that at sea.

Alka reached out to shake Juanlu's hand, then gave him a hug.

"Well then, welcome, welcome to our team! You heard yesterday—there are still four months to prepare, so be ready."

Juanlu nodded firmly.

Then Alka turned to Chadite and asked, "How about it, Chadite, did you finish dealing with the Treasure from before?"

Chadite nodded and smiled, "Don't worry, it was all sorted out two months ago. This time we got a total of 4,821 Gold Coin—quite a fortune."

At the mention of the haul, Alka showed a smile too—a large amount of money is always the most direct source of happiness.

Unfortunately, 4,000 of those will have to be spent on the ship's reconstruction.

After Chadite spoke, a Gold Coin Bag appeared in his hand.

The Gold Coin Bag was milky white, embroidered with intricate yet beautiful golden patterns, looking exceptionally luxurious.

"The money's all in here."

Alka took the Gold Coin Bag from Chadite's hand and nodded.

This kind of Gold Coin Bag was also a space item, but could only hold currency.

The only currencies it could hold were Gold Coin, Silver Snake, and Copper Swallow; all the other currencies made by other factions aren't included.

After all, these three currencies were jointly issued by the Four Gods—it's said they've existed since ancient times, just now taken up directly by the Four Gods.

So these are true hard currency, supposedly representing the very concept of 'currency.' They're vastly different from those homemade currencies by the various factions.

From the Archbishop, and in the Land of Dreams, even in the Endless Sea, these three types of money are still in use.

People have used these three currencies since ancient times, even until now.

Alka shook the Gold Coin Bag, drawing handful after handful of gold coins from within.

Since there were still around 800 gold coins left, he'd need to divide them among Pororo, Chadite, and Lucilia—of course, he'd take the lion's share.

After all, anything about finding Treasure, Alka always had the advantage and was the biggest contributor.

Once the split was done, Alka hefted the Gold Coin Bag loaded with a perfect 4,000 Golden Sail and turned to everyone, saying:

"The ship should be finished with modifications by now. How about it, everyone, want to check it out together?"

At these words, the group all stood up at once—they'd been looking forward to this ship for ages of course they had to go.

A vessel that really belonged to them, maybe even their home for the future.

Not to mention, when Alka came back, he'd promised the ship would pretty much meet all the requirements they had set.

That was something even they hadn't expected.

Because they all knew the requests they'd made before were, well, quite outlandish.

"Then let's go, everyone—time to welcome our newest member."

Saying this, Alka smiled.

The group left the villa together, following Alka all the way to the port where their Spell Ship was docked.

"Why are we here?" Jason asked, puzzled.

Weren't they supposed to go to the shipyard?

At this, Alka turned and explained, "Since the new ship is finished, this salvaged one isn't needed anymore. We'll sell it off, and I'm also planning to move the Swallow onto the new ship."

With that, he and the others boarded the ship together, guided the sailboat out of the berth, and circled around the island to the shipyard on the far side.

As they arrived, Alka pulled the ship alongside a berth next to the shipyard.

Following the shipyard staff, they headed straight to the office where they'd previously discussed the renovation plans with Hibroke.

The staff member who led them up knocked on the door.

"Come in," came Hibroke's old yet resonant voice from inside.

Chadite didn't stand on ceremony, pushing open the door and walking in.
