Chapter 47: Confession To Ok Hye-In
Ok Hye-In, misinterpreting Vladena's tone, thought she was getting angry. She hurriedly explained, ''Yes, I like him. I know there's an age gap between us. I didn't understand what was happening to me when I first saw him. I just couldn't control myself when I was with him.''
She started sobbing, her voice trembling as she said, ''If... if you want, I... I will leave here and never come in front of him again.''
I felt a mix of happiness and heartache listening to her confession and seeing her cry. Vladena, knowing she had pushed enough, quickly hugged Ok Hye-In tightly and said, ''Who told you to leave here? I want you to take care of my brother. If you want, you can be my sister-in-law.''
Ok Hye-In stopped crying, shocked by Vladena's words. She looked up in disbelief and asked, ''Don't you think there's a big age gap between us? Won't you object to us being together?"
Vladena looked at Ok Hye-In with sincerity and said, ''No, I just want my brother to be happy, and I'll do everything to make him happy. I know my brother must like you very much; otherwise, he wouldn't have brought you home and let you enter his gaming room.''
Ok Hye-In blushed, feeling shy after hearing Vladena's words. ''But he hasn't said anything about liking me yet,'' she admitted softly.
Vladena turned to where I was, rolling her eyes as if I weren't invisible. ''That fool. I don't care what he thinks. I've already recognized you as my sister-in-law, and you can call me sister from now on. And if my brother ever makes you angry, just watch how I'll deal with him.''
Ok Hye-In looked at Vladena, a protective note in her voice as she defended me. ''No, he didn't bully me. He's really nice to me and takes care of me.' She then recounted how I had stepped in and taken her away when Choi II-Kwon came to her office to harass her.''
Vladena bristled at the mention of Choi II-Kwon, her protective instincts kicking in. Now that Ok Hye-In was my woman and Vladena recognized her as a sister—essentially both being my wives—she felt a strong sense of responsibility. ''Don't worry about Choi II-Kwon,' Vladena assured her. 'He will suffer soon enough.''
Vladena then looked at Ok Hye-In with a playful smile and said, ''Go to sleep, or do you want to go to my brother's room? He lives in the next room; you can go there anytime.''
Ok Hye-In, realizing Vladena was teasing her, quickly covered her face with the blanket. In a soft, shy voice, she murmured, ''Good night, sister,'' and drifted off to sleep.
I quietly exited the room and slept in another part of the villa. When I woke up, I freshened up and changed from my magical clothes into my school uniform before heading to the living room. There, I found Vladena and Ok Hye-In already seated at the dining table.
I joined them, taking a seat next to Vladena, and helped myself to breakfast. As we ate together, Vladena turned to me and said, ''Take Ok Hye-In to school with you today. And regarding Choi II-Kwon, do whatever you want. I'll handle any fallout.''
I looked at Ok Hye-In and said, ''Don't worry, I'll make sure he understands the consequences of harassing my girlfriend.''
Ok Hye-In was taken aback, a mix of shock, nervousness, and embarrassment crossing her face. ''Who... Who is your girlfriend?'' she asked shyly.
Seeing her discomfort, I decided it was time to confess. I didn't want to keep her in suspense any longer, knowing how much she cared for me. I walked over to her, pulled out a rose from my system storage, and said, ''Ok Hye-In, please be my girlfriend. Let me take care of you for the rest of your life.''
Ok Hye-In, already in tears, accepted the rose and hugged me tightly. ''Don't you care that I'm older than you?'' she asked, her voice trembling.
I looked into her eyes, kissed her gently on the lips, and said, ''I don't care about the age difference. I think you're even more beautiful at this age.'' I wiped away her tears and smiled. ''Let's go. I'll take you to school."
Vladena quickly interjected, her voice laced with a teasing tone, ''Looks like someone forgets about his sister when he has a girlfriend.''
Vladena was talking to me, but Ok Hye-In wasn't paying attention and thought Vladena was speaking to her. She blushed hard and started stammering, ''Sister, I... I..."
Vladena gently interrupted her, clarifying with a smile, 'I wasn't talking about you, Ok Hye-In. I was talking about him."
I looked at Ok Hye-In's face, which was flushed red with blush and shyness, and couldn't help but laugh softly at her reaction. Vladena walked up to me and playfully twisted my arm, saying, ''Ok Hye-In, let me know if he ever bullies you in the future, and I'll teach him a lesson.''
I played along, quickly begging for mercy from Vladena. ''Okay, okay! I surrender!'' I laughed, enjoying the lighthearted moment.
Ok Hye-In watched us, laughing and smirking as she saw me playfully 'beaten up' by Vladena.
After that, I escorted Ok Hye-In to the car, and we drove towards the school. Along the way, Ok Hye-In shared her concern, ''Vlad, don't fight with Choi II-Kwon. Even if you accuse him, other teachers will support him, and you'll be at a disadvantage.''
I glanced at Ok Hye-In and saw the worry in her eyes. I turned to her, gently pinched her nose, and said, ''Fool, I own that school. I'll fire anyone who tries to target you or me.''
Ok Hye-In was shocked and asked, ''What? You own the school?''
I nodded and explained to her about the shares I hold and my ownership of the school. Then, I teased her, ''If my wife wants to be the principal, I'll quickly fire the current principal and appoint you directly. And let's see who dares to bully you then."
Ok Hye-In quickly asked, ''Wife...who is your wife?''
I looked at her tenderly and said, ''You... you are my wife, teacher.'' I pulled the car over to the side of the road and turned to face her, seeing her face flushed with emotion.
I looked deeply into her eyes and said, ''I love you, Ok Hye-In,'' before leaning in to kiss her passionately on the lips.
