Chapter 46: Date With The Teacher
I drove us to a fancy restaurant, the kind of place that promised an elegant and memorable evening. After parking the car, I quickly got out and opened the door for her, offering my hand to help her out. We walked into the restaurant together, and I requested a table for two.
Once we were seated, I noticed that Ok Hye-In seemed a bit shy and nervous. Leaning in slightly, I said gently, ''Ok Hye-In, there's no need to be nervous. We're just here to enjoy a nice dinner together."
She looked at me, her eyes wide with surprise. ''How can you call your teacher by her name?'' she asked a hint of reproach in her voice.
I met her gaze and replied, ''Then do you not like it when I call you Ok Hye-In?' She blushed deeply, her embarrassment evident. I decided not to press the issue further and instead shifted the conversation to her interests. ''What do you like to do in your free time?'' I asked.
She hesitated for a moment before admitting, ''I enjoy playing games, but I can't do that publicly because I'm a teacher.''
Curious about my own background, she asked about my situation. I shared with her that it was just me and my sister here and that my sister was the boss of JBC. I also mentioned that our family business was Queen Enterprises, which Vladena had established.
After dinner, I drove her towards my villa. Noticing her growing nervousness, I reassured her, ''I have a surprise prepared for you. I'm taking you to see it.''
Upon arriving at the villa, I helped her out of the car and led her inside. Vladena was in the living room and greeted us with a smile. ''Brother, you're back,'' she said cheerfully. Turning to Ok Hye-In, she added, ''Teacher, you're here too.''
Ok Hye-In looked embarrassed, as if she had been caught doing something she shouldn't. I quickly intervened, ''Sister, I have something to take care of,'' and took Ok Hye-In's hand, leading her towards the gaming room I had prepared.
As we approached the room, Ok Hye-In's nervousness grew more apparent. I could tell she was imagining all sorts of strange adult scenarios. I lightly tapped her forehead and said in a teasing tone, ''Fool, don't think too much.'' She snapped back to reality, stammering, 'Who... who are you calling a fool?"
I opened the room, walked in with her, and looked at her astonished face. She was looking at the rare game collection and other game characters placed in a showcase in the room.
I looked at her and said " In the restaurant, I heard you say that you like playing games so I wanted to show you my collection " She didn't respond to me but walked around the room looking at each item eagerly.
"I stepped closer to her and gently lifted her chin so she would look at me. 'Do you like my surprise?' I asked softly.
Her eyes met mine, and she smiled warmly. 'Yeah, I liked it very much. How did you manage to collect so many rare items? They must be very expensive.'
I returned her smile and explained, 'It's all thanks to my sister. She gave them to me.'
Ok Hye-In looked a bit downcast. 'I envy you for having a sister like that,' she admitted.
I couldn't resist teasing her a little. 'You know, Ok Hye-In, you can also make her your sister,' I said with a playful grin.
She looked up at me, confusion written all over her face. 'How can I make her my sister? She's your sister,' she protested.
I leaned in slightly, my voice gentle yet teasing. 'Ok Hye-In, you're really a bit slow, aren't you? Don't you know that if I become your boyfriend, my sister will also be your sister-in-law?"
Ok Hye-In snapped back to her senses, realizing I had been teasing her. She started playfully hitting me with soft fists on my chest. I have to admit, she looked really cute doing that. I laughed and begged for mercy, enjoying the lighthearted moment.
We spent the next few hours playing various games on the PC, losing track of time. Before we knew it, it was late at night. Ok Hye-In looked at the time and said, 'I should probably go. It's getting late.'
I nodded and escorted Ok Hye-In out of the gaming room. As we entered the living room, Vladena was there and noticed us. She smiled warmly and suggested, 'Teacher, it's late at night. Why don't you stay here tonight?'
Ok Hye-In looked at me, seeking my opinion. I nodded in agreement. Vladena took Ok Hye-In's hand and gently pulled her towards the sofa. I stopped them, saying, 'Sister, I have something I want to talk to you about.'
Ok Hye-In, thinking we needed privacy, started to leave the room, but I held her hand and said, 'Teacher, you can stay. It's about you that I want to talk about.' Ok Hye-In grew nervous, especially with Vladena present.
I guided Ok Hye-In to sit on the sofa and placed a reassuring hand on hers. Looking at Vladena, I said, 'Sister, I want you to take care of Choi II-Kwon,' and proceeded to tell her everything about him.
Vladena noticed Ok Hye-In sobbing as she listened to my concerns. She went over and hugged her tightly, saying, 'Don't worry, Ok Hye-In. I will take care of that bastard.' She then led Ok Hye-In to the bedroom.
Soon after, I heard Vladena's voice in my head. I knew she was communicating with Red Queen, which was on my laptop. Her message was clear: 'Come to our room in invisible form."
I quickly activated my invisibility and floated silently toward their room. As I entered, I saw Vladena and Ok Hye-In lying on the bed, engaged in a quiet conversation. I carefully floated over and laid down next to Vladena, positioning her between Ok Hye-In and myself. I made sure to be gentle and unnoticeable, not wanting to disrupt their conversation or startle them.
I leaned in and whispered softly into Vladena's ear, 'I am here.'
Vladena, acknowledging my presence, quickly turned to Ok Hye-In and asked, ''Ok Hye-In, what do you think of my brother?''
Ok Hye-In grew nervous at the question and hesitated before responding, ''Your brother is a good student. I heard he passed the basketball tryouts and was selected for the team.''
Vladena gently interrupted her and clarified, ''I'm not asking about his academic performance or his basketball skills. I want to know, do you like my brother?"
