It was said that even in the Mortal World, nighttime is frequently haunted, where some once betting walking down Vermilion Bird Avenue without encountering a ghost, ended up meeting a demon named Shuten-doji halfway.

This area was notoriously ghost-prone.

Sounds of battle reached his ears.

Su Ziyu's figure descended from the sky, soon he's greeted by eerie laughter as a massive, grotesque head whizzed by, taunting, "Come catch me!"

"Is this all the Soul Guides in Ghost Capital can do?"

The ghostly heads zoomed past Vermilion Bird Avenue like racers, taunting as they dashed, ghostly fires swirling around them, shadows cackling, specters clapped from alley corners, while behind these racing heads, he spotted the Black and White Ghost Emissaries he'd encountered before, faces steely, wielding Soul Hook Scythes and Soul Detaining Locks in pursuit.

—"Flying Heads!"

Su Ziyu tallied a dozen Flying Heads wildly racing through Vermilion Bird Avenue in Ghost Capital.

"They're having such fun!" A slightly childish voice chimed in.

Turning, Su Ziyu saw an incompletely transformed rabbit spirit resembling a six or seven-year-old girl, wide-eyed with awe, "Seems like such fun!"

Noticing Su Ziyu's gaze, the rabbit spirit shrank back and vanished in the blink of an eye.

The wind howled.

A Flying Head, dodging the Black and White Ghost Emissaries, approached Su Ziyu, screeching, "Move! I need to turn! They're catching up!"
