Transmigrated into Another Apocalyptic World (BL)

Chapter 30: Studying the Space 2

He didn't expect to gain such a significant benefit since it wasn't mentioned in the novel at all. They continued to explore their space and learned how to use it more effectively. They discovered they could control everything within the space with their minds.

They experimented by placing various items in the space and directing where to put them, learning that they could move everything with their thoughts.

Although repeatedly controlling the items was draining, both of them sighed in relief at the realization that they could manage things telepathically. It would have been very difficult to sort everything manually. If that had been the case, he would have certainly left all the organizing to Treyton.

They also learned that the underground part of their space was static. For example, ice cream placed on the ground level melted, but the ice cream stored underground remained frozen. The underground space was as big as the area visible on the ground level, meaning they could store a lot of resources without worrying about their expiry dates.

He had been concerned about where to store his frozen snacks, especially the ice creams, because they would be traveling. However, he no longer needed to worry. Even if the electricity were cut off in the future, the ice cream would still be frozen if stored underground.

They also tried to enter their space at one location and appear somewhere else but failed. They couldn't control where they would appear; they could only emerge at the place where they had entered their space. It was a pity they couldn't appear where the other person was or even nearby. Nevertheless, even without this function, the space they had was already impressive.

"So, are we going to tell others about our space?" Luciel asked after they finished exploring its functions.

He knew that Treyton trusted the people who were in the villa, so he was asking him if they needed to reveal it. In the novel, when Treyton found out that he had a space he revealed it because they were in dire need to transport a lot of things.

But because of it, Treyton also encountered a lot of inconvenience because he revealed it with the presence of a lot of troublesome characters.

The circumstances were different now that Treyton found it earlier. He also trusted the people who were currently in the villa, that's why he needed to ask Treyton about it.

"No, we'll keep it a secret for now. This space can be considered one of our trump cards, so the fewer people who know about it, the better. If we really need to reveal it later, we could say that you also have space powers," Treyton said seriously.

"Alright, so I'll appear as someone with dual powers like you. I'm okay with that, but we should avoid telling anyone if we can. Revealing that I have space powers would definitely be troublesome," Luciel said with a sigh.

He understood Treyton's reasoning. It would be more acceptable if Luciel also had dual powers, as Treyton did. It also wouldn't raise the wariness of others too much and they would be able to hide the fact that both of them actually owned the space. It would be better to say that he had space powers than to say that they got their space from some objects.

However, once others learned about his space powers, they would likely pester him to store their belongings and use him for transporting supplies, which would be troublesome. His personal time would surely be compromised.

"I understand. That's why we'll only reveal it if absolutely necessary," Treyton replied knowing that Luciel certainly doesn't want to do any work.

"Okay," Luciel agreed, nodding.

"I'm going to train my abilities in our space. Do you want to practice with me?" Treyton asked.

"No, I'm going to watch a movie. I'll practice later," Luciel replied, declining Treyton's offer.

"Alright, I'll be back later," Treyton said, heading off to practice his abilities in their space. With their unique space, they could practice for extended periods, allowing them to improve more quickly than others—a significant advantage.

In the novel, Treyton was always stronger due to his dual superpowers, but he still struggled in the beginning. Having dual powers meant it took him twice as long to develop his abilities compared to others. He was one of those with the least growth until they discovered that zombie crystal cores could enhance their abilities.

However, things would be different now. With their space, Treyton would surpass the strength described in the novel. Luciel would also advance more quickly and become stronger than his past self because of the space.

It would be even better if the space contained a variety of plants for him to draw energy from. Unfortunately, their space was currently bare, except for some grass and a pond. They needed to acquire seeds or plants to transplant into the space.

For now, he could still act as Treyton's lookout and alert him if anyone wanted to see him. He would just practice inside their space later on after putting plants in it. It was currently more beneficial for him to practice outside because there were more plant energies that he could absorb.

Treyton emerged six hours later, just before dinner time. He didn't want to let anyone go

"Wow, you spent a day and a half in our space. Did you get hungry?" Luciel asked as Treyton returned.

"I trained there for a day and a half and didn't get hungry at all," Treyton replied.

"It seems that we aren't affected by the passage of time in our space," Luciel noted.

They already felt that they weren't affected by the passing of time in their space. Treyton not feeling hungry despite spending more than a day there confirmed that they weren't affected by time in their space.

"Yes, time passes differently there, which makes training very effective. Anyway, let's go downstairs for dinner," Treyton suggested.

"Okay, let's go," Luciel agreed.

They went downstairs, had dinner, and then discussed their plans for practice the following day.
