Transmigrated into Another Apocalyptic World (BL)

Chapter 29: Studying the Space

"Now that we have two methods to improve our powers, we should use both of them. Even if we could harness more power by absorbing the energy of our surroundings, we should still practice repeatedly. It would be of no use if our abilities were strong, but we couldn't use them properly.

As for Calvin, Myla, and Jacob, just keep practicing your abilities for now. We might discover other effective methods for your powers later," Treyton said to everyone.

"Nina, how much food do we have left?" Treyton asked.

Nina didn't usually stock up on food because she preferred to use the freshest ingredients for her cooking. She typically bought food for just one or two days. If they hadn't had a barbecue party, she wouldn't have considered buying more food, even if he had asked in advance.

"Sir, we only have enough food for two days. If we include Sir Luciel's snacks, we should have enough for four days," Nina reported.

"Don't even think about my snacks," Luciel immediately interjected.

He had a lot of chocolates, biscuits, and other items that were filling enough, but he didn't want to share all his snacks.

"Don't worry, we won't touch your snacks," Treyton said with a smile.

"We'll be leaving in two days, so everyone should train as much as possible. We will definitely face a lot of fights. We still have bullets, but they won't last long if we keep using them. We should try to rely on our own powers in combat," Treyton continued.

"By the way, it seems that a lot of people in the community are already leaving. The number of zombies in front of us is increasing because they're following the cars that are leaving," Nathan added.

"Yes, it seems that zombies are more sensitive to sound and smell. They obviously can't see, but they're also sensitive to light," Yang added.

"Maybe that's why they approach anything with lights on at night."

"Anyway, it's good that there are more zombies around because we'll start killing them tomorrow. We need some experience before we begin traveling. Our abilities aren't that lethal yet, so we should use them to assist us in combat. Our main weapons will be guns, daggers, or other tools suitable for dealing with zombies.

Calvin, Yang, and Nathan, since you don't have much fighting experience, you'll start with a gun to keep your distance. Later, you'll need a weapon for close combat as well."

"Okay," the others agreed.

Everyone accepted Treyton's plan without objection, knowing they would encounter numerous problems while going north. Even though they were still in the villa community, they were already seeing a lot of zombies around. Once they ventured outside, they would likely encounter even more.

"Ugh, you're giving me a gun, but I'm not sure I can even hit the target. I only used a gun during my military service," Nathan said.

"Me too," Yang added.

"I know, which is why you'll only use it tomorrow. After that, you'll practice close combat," Treyton replied.

"What about you, Calvin? Do you know how to use a gun?" Nathan asked.

"I do. My dad taught me," Calvin replied.

"Oh, right, you were probably forced to learn," Nathan said.

"Yes, Grandpa said he'd let the others burn all my books and wouldn't let me go to university if I didn't at least learn how to shoot a gun. That's why I learned shooting from father," Calvin said obediently.

"Your grandpa is really something else," Nathan said with a grin.

"Okay, everyone, go practice your abilities. We'll discuss more later," Treyton interrupted.

Everyone dispersed to practice on their own.

Even Ashlee went to get the flowerpot she was using as a target and began practicing her throwing skills near Yang.

Luciel was already very accustomed to accumulating energy in his body, so he could do it consciously while doing other tasks, unlike the others who needed to focus solely on it. They would be able to manage it after getting used to it.

"Let's go back upstairs," Treyton said.

They needed to study the space they had, so they headed back upstairs.

"You can go ahead; I'll just grab something," Luciel said and headed to the kitchen.

He went to get some ice cream from the refrigerator to eat later and to use in their experiment.

Once they were in Treyton's room, they began examining their space more closely.

"We can't stay in the underground space, but we can control the items inside with our minds," Luciel said after they tried going inside the space underground. It seemed that they could only see I and store items, but they couldn't enter it on their own.

"I'll place one ice cream cup in the underground space and another at the top. Let's see if there's a time difference between the two spaces," Luciel proposed.

"Okay. I'll stay in the space for an hour and check if there's a time difference between our space and reality," Treyton agreed.

"Then, I'll just stay here," Luciel said.

Afterward, Treyton emerged from the space and asked, "How long was I gone?"

"You were gone for 10 minutes. Did you really stay there for an hour?" Luciel asked.

"Yes, I stayed there for an hour," Relied seriously.

"Woah, you were only gone for 10 minutes here," Luciel said.

They didn't bother to check the time when they entered and went out of their space a while ago. They also didn't stay long inside their space and immediately went out because he was already hungry, that's why they didn't notice the time difference.

"So, time flows six times faster in our space. This is great!" Treyton said with a broad smile.

"Yes, this is indeed great!" Luciel agreed with a smile.

They could feel that they weren't affected by the time in their space because they were the owners. Having more time in their space would be very beneficial to them. They could do a lot of things with the time difference.
