Transmigrated Become Sukuna, but the host is Yukinoshita Yukino?

Chapter 152: Chapter 152 - Kenjaku

Inside a completely white space, Jogo stared blankly ahead. After a long moment, he slowly lowered his head and looked at his hands. Surprisingly, he felt at peace.

"Jogo."

A gentle voice came from behind him. Jogo instinctively turned around. "Mahito..."

Mahito smiled at him warmly. "You did your best. That guy was really strong—stronger than Sukuna. Losing to him isn't shameful."

Jogo let out a helpless sigh. "Seriously, he's like a damn monster. I watched with my own eyes as the so-called King of Curses got beaten to a pulp by that guy in the soul realm. Who's really the King of Curses here?"

Hunched over, Jogo looked at Mahito, who didn't seem the least bit regretful about his death. He slowly said, "Dagon and Hanami are still around. They'll carry on our will."

"Our will? We're not really dead, are we?" Mahito said casually. "We'll be reborn sooner or later."

"But when that happens, we won't be us anymore." Jogo's gaze grew calm. "Even so, I truly look forward to the day we meet again. We are the real humans."

"Huh, that's an interesting way to think."

A voice suddenly spoke behind Jogo.

Hands in his pockets, Hayashizaki smiled.

"You..."

"You're born from the negative emotions and cursed energy that leak from humans, yet you want to become human?"

"We don't want to become human. We want to replace them." Jogo corrected him.

"Is that so?" The black-haired young man chuckled, neither agreeing nor disagreeing. "Then tell me, what do you think being human means?"

"Filthy, fake creations," Jogo replied without hesitation.

Hearing that, Hayashizaki suddenly burst into laughter. "So that's all your thoughts amount to? If that's the way you see humans, you'll never be able to replace them."

"Well, whatever. Not that you'll get another chance. Bye-bye."

Hayashizaki waved with a smile and faded from Jogo's vision.

He watched the last embers of Jogo's existence scatter into the air, then turned to gaze at the night sky.

...

Twenty minutes earlier, at Tokyo Jujutsu High.

Deep within the school's forest, the ground suddenly bulged. The earth cracked open as several thick, twisted roots emerged.

Hanami and Geto Suguru stepped out from the spreading roots.

"Where is Sukuna's finger being kept?" Hanami asked.

The words it spoke were completely separate from modern human language, yet their meaning reached the brain directly.

"Don't rush."

Geto first stretched his body a little before smiling and explaining, "Most of the temples and shrines in the school exist just to confuse intruders. Under Tengen's barrier techniques, their positions change every day."

"Out of thousands of doors, only one leads to the vault where they store highly dangerous cursed objects—including Sukuna's fingers."

"The only one who knows which door leads to the warehouse that day is Tengen himself." Suguru Geto sighed, looking troubled. "I had everything planned out. The finger we sent to Jujutsu High had a talisman made with Mahito's cursed energy on it. If Mahito got there, he could've easily found the warehouse."

"But I didn't expect him to die so easily. Jujutsu High must have sent a skilled sorcerer. Just bad luck, I guess."

Of course, if Suguru Geto knew that the finger never even made it to the warehouse and was instead shoved straight into Itadori Yuji's stomach by Hayashizaki on the spot, who knows what kind of expression he would have right now?

"So, how are you going to find the warehouse now? The curtain over Shinjuku won't hold off Gojo Satoru for long." Hanami was grieving Mahito's death, but now wasn't the time to dwell on it.

"It's tricky. It'll take some time." Suguru Geto said this, but there was a faint smirk on his lips. "Didn't I just say? Only Tengen knows the warehouse's location on that day."

"You're planning to…"

Before Hanami could finish speaking, both of them looked up in the same direction toward the forest.

"Looks like staying behind was the right choice. Another diversion, huh? Jujutsu High was your real target all along." Masamichi Yaga walked forward, followed by a large group of hopping and bouncing puppets, looking like an army of toys invading.

His guess was spot on.

But the moment he saw the faces of the intruders, his eyes behind his sunglasses widened in shock. His voice was filled with disbelief.

"Suguru Geto…? Impossible!"

"Aren't you supposed to be dead?"

"Unfortunately, Suguru Geto really is dead." The man wearing Geto's face smiled.

Stitches…

Since he had spent years making puppet-based cursed corpses, Masamichi Yaga was sensitive to things like stitching. He quickly noticed the seam running across "Suguru Geto's" forehead.

"Did Gojo not dispose of Geto's body…?" Knowing his student well, Masamichi Yaga immediately understood what had happened.

A blue aura of cursed energy flared up around the burly man. "I don't know who you are, but I won't let you take another step forward."

As his cursed energy surged, the puppets behind him began to swell. Their cute, clumsy appearances transformed into hulking, muscular figures, their eyes locked onto their enemies. A crimson glow lit up the dark forest.

"Scary, scary." The one controlling Geto's body—Kenjaku—let out a soft chuckle. Then, he raised his hand and released several Grade 1 Curses.

"Hanami, I'll leave this to you."

"Make sure to kill him. I can't let my identity be exposed to Gojo Satoru just yet."

With that, he placed his hands behind his back and casually walked away.

"I understand."

Hanami pulled off the cloth covering his left arm, revealing a pitch-black limb and a red flower bud on his shoulder, not yet in bloom.

"You think I'll just let you leave so easily?"

Masamichi Yaga's voice was low as he stepped forward to chase after Kenjaku. The army of cursed corpses behind him lunged toward Hanami and the Grade 1 Curses.

Hanami's figure suddenly vanished, and the Grade 1 Curses howled as they charged at the puppets.

Yaga's path was blocked. Hanami stood in his way.

"Foolish one, stop struggling in vain. Die here and become one with nature."
