Transcending Realities: A Journey to Reclaim Home

Chapter 81: Danzo lost

"Let's begin the real fun," Fugaku declared, his Mangekyo Sharingan flaring to life, its power surging through him and intensifying his chakra. The energy radiating from him made Danzo's confidence falter for a brief moment.

But Danzo scoffed, attempting to regain his composure. "You think you're the only one with a Mangekyo?" he sneered arrogantly.

Fugaku's gaze hardened. "Danzo, don't bother trying to use the one in your left eye."

Ignoring the warning, Danzo removed the bandages from his arm, revealing a grotesque array of Sharingans embedded into his flesh, with a single Sharingan in his left eye. He attempted to activate the Mangekyo in his left eye, but nothing happened. Confusion quickly morphed into frustration as he shouted, "What... What happened?"

Fugaku's smirk grew. "Because that one's a fake. The day you ambushed Shisui, he was prepared. He replaced the real eye with a decoy, leaving you with nothing. Shisui lives on, and the Uchiha owe Naruto a debt."

Danzo's face twisted in shock and fury as the realization sank in. He had been outmaneuvered from the beginning, and now his most guarded secret was powerless in the face of the Uchiha's enduring strength and cunning.

Danzo's face twisted in disbelief, his arrogance crumbling. "No… That can't be," he muttered, glancing at his left eye in horror, realizing the truth. He had relied on this eye for years, believing he held the power of Shisui's legendary Kotoamatsukami, only to find he'd been deceived.

"You're telling me Shisui… is alive?" Danzo's voice trembled with a mix of fury and fear.

Danzo's gaze darted from Fugaku to the exit, calculating his chances of escape. His Sharingan-laden arm trembled slightly, his confidence shattered. "You think… this will change anything?" he spat, though his voice had lost its earlier strength. "The Uchiha will still be resented. You'll always be feared in Konoha."

Fugaku's eyes narrowed, his voice like steel. "Maybe. But the truth will come out. The village deserves to know who you truly are, and what you've done."

With a swift motion, Fugaku advanced, his chakra flaring. "Your crimes against Konoha and the Uchiha end here. Prepare to face judgment, Danzo. You have nowhere left to run."

As they emerged from the base, Fugaku unleashed his full power, activating his Susanoo. The monstrous apparition took shape, a towering figure of red, with sinewy muscles and a skeletal structure that exuded raw strength. In one hand, it wielded a massive sword that glimmered ominously in the light, towering as high as a Tailed Beast.

Danzo's heart raced as he took in the sheer size of the Susanoo, a primal fear gripping him. He felt the weight of his mortality in the face of such overwhelming power.

"Die, Danzo!" Fugaku roared, commanding the Susanoo to strike. The sword came down with devastating force, and Danzo met his end.

But as the dust settled, a dark ripple in reality occurred. "Izanagi!" Danzo shouted, his last resort activating just in time. The world around him blurred, and he reemerged, alive but at a cost—one of his precious Sharingan was now sealed, a price paid for a fleeting chance at survival.

"Oh, Izanagi, so this is your trump card," Fugaku taunted, his voice dripping with confidence. "But don't you realize that your death is inevitable?" He launched multiple strikes from his Susanoo, each slash intended to find its mark, yet Danzo evaded death time and time again, using Izanagi to return to life in a cycle of relentless struggle.

Despite the odds, Danzo fought with desperation, each escape further exhausting his resources and leaving him with the grim realization that he could only stave off the inevitable for so long. The battle had transformed into a deadly game of cat and mouse, with Fugaku gaining the upper hand and Danzo growing weaker with each passing moment.

Fugaku watched calmly, almost amused, as Danzo repeatedly died and returned, each resurrection costing him one of his stolen Sharingan. With every death, Danzo's desperation grew, while Fugaku's relentless assault continued, his Susanoo cleaving through the ground and air with deadly precision.

Danzo breathed heavily, his Sharingan count dwindling with each use of Izanagi. Sweat dripped down his face as he struggled to maintain his composure, realizing the gap between his stolen power and Fugaku's raw, unrelenting might. His own chakra reserves were waning, while Fugaku's Susanoo loomed over him like an indomitable force.

"Running out of lives, Danzo?" Fugaku's voice was low and cold, echoing with the finality of judgment. "I've waited for this moment for too long. Each eye you waste is one less trick to hide behind."

Desperately, Danzo tried to activate another Sharingan to prolong his survival, but Fugaku's Susanoo slashed again, faster than before. Danzo barely managed to leap back, but the Susanoo's blade grazed him, drawing blood and forcing him to stumble.

"You should have stayed in the shadows," Fugaku continued, stepping forward with measured steps. "Instead, you let your greed and fear turn you into a monster. But no amount of power could make you untouchable."

With only a couple of Sharingan left on his arm, Danzo's expression morphed from arrogance to panic, finally realizing that he was truly cornered.

"It's over," Fugaku declared, his Mangekyo Sharingan blazing as he prepared for the final blow. "For all the lives you sacrificed, for all the pain you inflicted… this is your end."

Fugaku deliberately missed his strike, the blade of the Susanoo slicing through the air harmlessly. He released the towering entity and approached Danzo, his expression a mix of determination and confidence.

"Do you think I'll go down alone?" Danzo shouted maniacally, his body beginning to swell with a surge of chakra, preparing to unleash a final desperate attack.

But before he could complete his transformation, Fugaku swiftly produced a rope, expertly binding Danzo and halting his grotesque expansion. The swelling stopped, and Danzo returned to his normal state, disbelief etched across his features as he struggled against the binds. "How is this possible?" he gasped, eyes wide with shock.

Fugaku tightened the rope around Danzo, who struggled against his restraints, eyes wide with disbelief. "You… you knew?" Danzo spat, his voice laced with venom.

"Of course," Fugaku replied, a smirk creeping onto his face. "Naruto has been one step ahead of you the entire time. You thought you could orchestrate your plans without consequence? You underestimated him, just like you underestimated the Uchiha."

As Danzo thrashed, attempting to free himself, Fugaku could see the flicker of panic in his eyes. The once formidable leader of Root had become a cornered animal, desperate and dangerous, but ultimately powerless against Fugaku's resolve.

"You won't get away with this, Fugaku!" Danzo growled, his voice trembling with rage. "You think binding me will stop the village from falling? The plans I set in motion cannot be undone!"

"Plans?" Fugaku scoffed. "Your plans are nothing but remnants of a deluded mind. Konoha is stronger than your twisted schemes. The villagers will rise against you. They deserve to know the truth about the darkness you've hidden behind your façade."

Danzo's face twisted in fury. "You think they will side with the Uchiha? You're a fool. They'll see you as a traitor, just like I will—"

Before he could finish, Fugaku drew closer, his eyes narrowed. "Not anymore. Your time of manipulation is over. Once I expose your crimes, it will be clear who the true traitor is."

With a final tug of the rope, Fugaku ensured Danzo's capture, the rogue ninja's breath quickening as the realization settled in. "This ends now. You will answer for everything you've done."

With a quick hand sign, Fugaku activated a seal on the rope, reinforcing it with chakra. Danzo's struggles became futile as the binding tightened, effectively suppressing any chance of escape.

"Let's go," Fugaku said, turning his back on Danzo, who could only glare at him in silent fury. "Your reign of terror ends here, and I'll ensure you face justice for your actions."

As Fugaku made his way to Konoha, he felt a surge of determination. He was finally reclaiming his clan's honor, and with Naruto's plans falling into place, the village would soon see a new dawn free from Danzo's shadow.
