Chapter 287 He Hates Trickery the Most
"I can understand." Phoebe interrupted him, reaching out her hand.
Andrew Kennedy's eyes suddenly cleared, his gaze turned cold, and he discreetly evaded Eliza Fletcher's intentional approach. He had already walked out of the scene, yet with Andrew Kennedy's years of extraordinary acting, this moment left no flaw before the camera.
Ha, thinking of pulling tricks while acting.
A thin sneer crossed Andrew Kennedy's heart.
Eliza Fletcher did not get to hold Andrew Kennedy's hand as she wished, feeling unwilling, but she ultimately grasped Andrew Kennedy's arm, tightening her grip, speaking gently.
"Nikolai, don't worry, I believe one day Amelina will accept me. For you, I will wait patiently."
Nikolai Collins showed a grateful smile, "Thank you, Phoebe."
"Cut," Sawyer called out in satisfaction, and Andrew Kennedy immediately withdrew his arm from Eliza Fletcher's grip.
"Andrew..." Eliza Fletcher's hand was suddenly empty, wanting to say something, only to see Andrew Kennedy turn back, giving her a gentle smile, "Well done, prepare well for the next scene."
With that, without giving her a chance to speak, he turned and walked away.
The assistant came up to him, he extended his hand towards the assistant coldly, "Wet wipe."
The assistant was momentarily dumbfounded; having worked with Andrew Kennedy for so many years, he had never seen him so angry.
Though nothing showed on Andrew Kennedy's face, he was definitely angry.
The assistant quickly handed over the wet wipe.
Andrew Kennedy frowned, wiping his arm.
The assistant immediately understood, Andrew Kennedy was a clean freak, probably Eliza Fletcher was unaware and inadvertently crossed his boundary.
Agent Tyler Thomas walked over, waved his hand, allowing the assistant and staff to disperse, came to Andrew Kennedy's side, glanced at his arm, and said solemnly, "Should I say something to the director, warn that actor?"
Others might not know, but she was most clear; cleanliness? Andrew Kennedy didn't touch anything, just detested actresses intentionally taking advantage under the guise of acting.
This wasn't the first instance; however as Andrew Kennedy's reputation grew, some actresses merely thought about it, not daring to actually go through with it.
Today... this Eliza Fletcher was incredibly bold.
"No need," Andrew Kennedy said flatly, glimpsing Aurelia Shaw alone with her script, his gaze softened a bit, he walked towards her.
Aurelia Shaw had already noticed Andrew Kennedy coming her way, but chose not to initiate contact; the other sat next to her and picked up a script, neither saying unnecessary words nor greeting her.
Aurelia Shaw lifted her alluring eyes, glancing at his crew, "So many people serving you, what are you doing in my shabby temple?"
Andrew Kennedy gave a soft laugh, this laugh was genuine; he didn't know why, though Aurelia Shaw treated him indifferently and he could see she was wary of him, yet he didn't dislike it, instead, he felt such honesty from her.
In front of her, he could unconsciously relax, unlike dealing with that group, where he had to wear a mask.
He increasingly enjoyed the feeling of being around her.
"I just like a shabby temple; it's too noisy over there, affecting our dialogue rehearsal."
Aurelia Shaw rolled her eyes.
First time hearing someone use such a lousy excuse.
Can't be bothered to expose him.
Dialogue rehearsal it is then.
Aurelia Shaw took out the script, and the two exchanged lines, although their faces showed little expression changes, their dialogue's tone and emotion made others feel as if Amelina and Nikolai were standing there.
Left aside, Eliza Fletcher prepared to approach Andrew Kennedy again, biting her lip jealously, her face contorting in a sinister way.
Damn Aurelia Shaw, seducing Andrew Kennedy again!
She recalled the scenes later in the script, coldly curling her lips, eyes flashing with a vicious glint.
