Chapter 587: Foreseen Crisis (Part 2)
"Currently, there's no clue, and regarding our actions, he hasn't shown any reaction either."
After a brief discussion, the Navigator ended the communication.
"Chaotic Star Gap..." Li Ming's eyes flickered; this time, the Three Great Civilizations hit the mark by coincidence.
In a way, the Chaotic Star Gap is truly his old lair.
The Mechanical Court can't be lost, after all, it's a continuous source of metal energy, and he has paid a lot for it.
On Sheffield's side, it's even more crucial not to let anyone see his excessive concern for the X Level Gene Seed.
He's been thinking about how to solve this issue for a long time, and he has a preliminary plan, but it's not guaranteed to work, requiring many uncontrollable factors to synchronize.
"There's one more thing..." While developing the Genetic Seed, he was also calculating.
"Holy Castle..." He frowned slightly; it had been several months since he was cut off from it, and the Three Great Civilizations had found ways to sever Holy Castle's external connections.
Although the Observer had guaranteed that no one else could exploit the bug in the King-Making Trial to infiltrate the Holy Castle,
he still felt somewhat uneasy and wanted to understand the progress of the Three Great Civilizations more clearly.
"Even though we've figured out the coordinates of the Holy Castle, it's not wise to act rashly."
"There are still at least two Titan Holy Artifacts under the control of the Federation and the Star Alliance, each posing a direct threat to me."
"The Eternal Silence Star can't be repaired in the short term, so for now, I'll have to think of a way to see if I can break through the isolation," Li Ming pondered.
The communication method used by the Holy Castle is unique, and he currently has no leads, "But Reynolds and Mikhail might not be so limited."
Those two are indeed the real Divine Craftsmen.
Thinking of this, Li Ming decided to end his development, switch Controlled Objects, and directly descend into the Divine Craftsman Laboratory, possessing the host.
The holographic page in the mechanical pupil shrank into a needle; Li Ming returned from a trance, moved slightly, and walked straight out of the room and into the Core Laboratory.
The two people there were not surprised by his arrival.
Reynolds ran over excitedly, pointing to the mechanical body on the operation table, almost disassembled into parts, "Azure Dragon, you are truly a freak, this damned thing isn't just a prototype, it's practically a rebirth of the Mechanical Holy Spirit race..."
Mikhail was bowing his head, the parts glowing with a bluish-gray light suspended above the circular workbench,
on which hundreds of rotating molecular structure models could be seen, three liquid-metal probes dangling from the ceiling, plunged into the metal parts.
At the moment, they were being slowly extracted, and Mikhail looked over with a complicated gaze.
Once their resource support was in place, Azure Dragon sent over an original prototype.
At first, he thought that the so-called prototype was just Azure Dragon's rough experimental product.
However, after receiving it, they were shocked to discover that it wasn't just a prototype, it had no experimental traces on it, being perfect like those real Mechanical Holy Spirits.
This naturally accelerated their progress, with breakthroughs coming every day, and he estimated that it wouldn't take one or two years to fully reproduce a real "Mechanical Seed."
"You've developed it to this extent, and still want us to research it? Just hand over the results," Reynolds suggested, eager to free-ride.
"I could give it to you, but are you two willing to take it?" Li Ming shrugged.
Reynolds muttered something but refrained from decisively claiming he'd "dare" to take it.
This technology was meant to be applied to all mechanical bodies under their command, and with what Azure Dragon was offering, there could very well be a backdoor.
They needed to understand not just the "how" but the "why," hence why they had to go through the entire research process properly.
After a brief exchange, Li Ming got straight to the point, "I'm here mainly because of a trouble and I'd like to ask for your help."
He spoke plainly. In weaker times, he would have to maintain appearances, and couldn't admit trouble even if there was any.
But now, as he grew stronger, there was no need to keep pretending.
"Oh? What kind of trouble?" Reynolds perked up.
Li Ming explained, "Us three are all in the same boat, and I won't hide from you; I originally could contact the Holy Castle through super-dimensional communication."
Mikhail couldn't help but look over.
"However, after the Three Great Civilizations took over, they somehow isolated this kind of communication, making it impossible for me to contact Holy Castle and know what's happening there in real-time."
Li Ming sincerely said, "I am not well-versed in super-dimensional communication. That's why I want to ask for your help."
"Aren't you currently using super-dimensional communication for descent?" Mikhail hesitated to ask.
"Not really..." Li Ming shook his head without elaborating further.
"Hmm..." Mikhail considered, "Super-dimensional communication, full name super-dimensional information entanglement communication, is an advanced communication method surpassing quantum communication."
"Essentially, it uses the information state, leveraging the ocean of information in the universe to connect the other side, so it can almost ignore distance, requiring only the 'information key'.
"What the Three Great Civilizations are doing now is essentially locking the entire Holy Castle, isolating the information state, preventing you from communicating."
"What a load of drivel..." Reynolds said impatiently, "In fact, connectivity isn't that complicated; as long as you know the coordinates and strengthen the information state for a pinpoint breakthrough, you should be able to bypass the Three Great Civilizations' isolation."
"I do know the coordinates..." Li Ming said, a bit surprised; it seemed easy when Reynolds explained it.
"It's not that simple," Mikhail shook his head, "This method can only achieve a temporary connection. The information state is easily disrupted, and they can sever it again easily."
"The most crucial point is that common information state blocking methods have recording capabilities. They currently don't have your information state imprint, but encountering such a breakthrough once would leave traces, preventing future attempts."
Not knowing what you were doing the first time around; once clarified, they won't even let you in a second time.
Li Ming bemusedly acknowledged that Reynolds was unreliable.
However, Reynolds quickly added, "Unless you can pull a line out from within the Holy Castle, providing a tangible base for the information state, enhancing connection strength."
"A line." Li Ming pondered, not too familiar with this area.
"Like this..." Mikhail's mechanical pupil flickered and sent over a document and blueprint.
"Super-dimensional information entanglement is indeed convenient, but adapting it for mechanical bodies is quite troublesome. Here's a method I used in the past, equipping sub-devices at the target site to augment stability."
Li Ming skimmed the document, finding a special communication device divided into master and sub-parts, his eyes shining brightly.
Tsk... This was exactly what he needed, ready for construction and upgrade.
"But, you first have to send this thing over." Mikhail emphasized.
Li Ming couldn't help but grin; this problem was easily solved for him.
He looked at Reynolds, "Just now you talked about a pinpoint breakthrough..."
"Oh oh..." Reynolds suddenly realized, "I'll have someone send the necessary equipment to you, still to the Mechanical Court?"
"Yes." Li Ming nodded, in a good mood.
Reynolds and Mikhail didn't disappoint him,
solving this problem in just a few words.
He didn't plan to spend much more time here and intended to go manufacture the communication device. The host body had already left the laboratory but returned, testingly asking:
"By the way, could you two provide some more resources or something?"
"How much?" Reynolds looked over.
"Uh, three trillion?" Li Ming said, emphasizing, "Three trillion between the two of you combined."
Reynolds quickly turned his head, "I think there's a problem with the parameters here, look, the energy transfer rate at this deflection angle is too low..."
Mikhail didn't even turn around, repeatedly responding, "Indeed... it must be some kind of node, altering transfer efficiency..."
The two were more harmonious than ever; Li Ming's mouth twitched, choosing not to say more, and walked straight out.
After going offline, he eagerly arrived at the casting room, preparing to manufacture the relevant communication equipment.
