The Young Urban Doctor

Chapter 1819: It's All Too Chaotic

After strolling around Solitary Mountain and visiting Xilin Seal Art Society, it was already lunchtime. Luo Ziling took Yang Qingyin to Lou Wai Lou restaurant for lunch.

The place was so crowded that they were almost scared away, but fortunately, Yang Qingyin had made a reservation. Otherwise, they would have to wait for three to four hours and might have ended up having lunch as dinner.

Xiaoli and the other three bodyguards handled lunch on their own.

Seeing so many people waiting, Luo Ziling and Yang Qingyin lost interest in savoring the delicacies there. They hurriedly finished their meal and gave up their place to those waiting.

"The phrase 'Shanwaishan and Louwai Lou' from an ancient poem made this brand famous." As they exited Lou Wai Lou, Yang Qingyin couldn't help but sigh, "I wonder if this place worships Lin Sheng as a god of wealth."

"I didn't notice earlier. I think they probably do, since it was Lin Sheng's poem that made Lou Wai Lou famous." Luo Ziling laughed and said, "There are also Shan Wai Shan and Tian Wai Tian in Hangzhou, which are said to be quite well-known."

"Why not have Lakewai Lake? Templewai Temple? Dyke Wai Dyke? Bridge Wai Bridge?" Yang Qingyin giggled as she hooked her arm around Luo Ziling's and dragged him toward the pier, "It would be fun to use all those names."

"How about we make a suggestion to the West Lake management?"

"You go ahead and suggest it. Just write a letter. It's easy now, just a click online or on your phone."

"Forget it," Luo Ziling immediately backed down, "Let's leave the suggestion to the Jiangzhe people. They understand the flavor of the South better than I do."

The unpleasant mood from the morning's framing incident had long faded, and the two, in good spirits, bought tickets for a boat trip and first went to Lake Heart Island.

"First, let me test you with a question," as they stepped onto Lake Heart Pavilion Island, Yang Qingyin pointed at a stone tablet in front and asked Luo Ziling with a smile, "What does the 'Er' character mean on this?"

"Boundless, boundless, remove the outer frame and it becomes 'Er'." Luo Ziling, not particularly interested, chuckled and said, "Seems to be Emperor Qianlong's handwriting."

"Hongli's calligraphy is quite nice."

"Wild boar skin, not interested!"

Yang Qingyin was a bit surprised but soon smiled and said, "Alright, let's not talk about this. Let's take a stroll!"

Lake Heart Pavilion is very small. The two of them went around the entire island in just half an hour.

Then they headed to Little Yingzhou.

Little Yingzhou is the largest island on West Lake, with the famous Three Pools Mirroring the Moon near its shores.

Visitors to the island were equally numerous, and nearly the entire island was crowded, making Luo Ziling and Yang Qingyin quite frustrated. In the end, they didn't linger on the island for long and quickly left after a brief tour.

"Let's go somewhere less crowded!" Joining the throngs of tourists didn't appeal much to Yang Qingyin, so she proposed a new suggestion.

"Let's climb Baoshi Mountain! We'll get off at Yue Tomb Wharf."

"Alright!" Yang Qingyin agreed without hesitation.

So, they took a boat to Yue Tomb Wharf, planning to climb Baoshi Mountain.

Just as they arrived at Yue Tomb Wharf, Xiaoli squeezed in beside them, quietly reminding them, "The police are looking for you."

"What's going on?" Luo Ziling frowned.

"They saw the news online. Today's incident caused a huge stir, and the Qiantang Police Department is probably under a lot of pressure. They want you to come over for a proper discussion, hoping you can explain again."

"Didn't they already bring back that janitor uncle and those troublemakers? They just need to interrogate them!"

"They've been released. They were taken back for questioning, given statements, and then released," Xiaoli whispered, "They didn't expect things to turn out this way, so they approached me, hoping we would cooperate with them."

Xiaoli had left her contact information when showing her credentials, telling them to call her if anything came up.

So, as the situation blew up, the Qiantang police couldn't sit still and actively sought Xiaoli's cooperation to help clarify the matter.

"Tell them everything they need to know and have them bring those people back to face justice," Yang Qingyin gave instructions to Xiaoli with a hint of displeasure, "In this matter, they didn't handle it well. We've been insulted and misunderstood, and they have a responsibility too."

"Yes, Miss, understood," Xiaoli said no more and left Luo Ziling and Yang Qingyin's side.

"I think those people probably said the same thing at the police station. Even if they didn't, they certainly didn't mention any conflict, otherwise, the police wouldn't have let them go." Yang Qingyin angrily commented, "Now that the situation has blown up, they realize the seriousness and look for us. They should be questioning those six people to clarify everything, shouldn't they?"

She had seen the videos Luo Ziling uploaded online and felt they had already fully explained the situation. The subsequent events were unrelated to them. Let the police investigate; it wasn't particularly troublesome.

Luo Ziling just smiled and didn't refute Yang Qingyin's opinion.

He didn't intend to blame the police.

They probably thought it wasn't a big issue, and since those people got beaten, they handled it with appeasement. After all, they didn't plan to press charges, so the police didn't pursue it further. Once they understood the situation, they released them.

At the police station, the janitor uncle wouldn't claim to be in cahoots with those five people, but he also wouldn't mention any conflict, just a minor argument. In such trivial matters, if the parties don't pursue each other, the police won't continue investigating.

No one expected the incident to be published online and have the facts distorted.

The Qiantang police were being criticized, so it's normal for them to want to clarify the situation under such pressure.

"Let's go pay our respects to Duke Yue," seeing Luo Ziling seemed like he wanted to say something, Yang Qingyin pulled him towards Yuewang Temple.

"Isn't this a patriotic education base? Why isn't the entrance free?" Luo Ziling mumbled while buying tickets.

"I agree," Yang Qingyin chuckled, "It's not very fair."

Of course, it was just a complaint. The two entered Yuewang Temple with a feeling of reverence.

"The green mountains are fortunate to contain the loyal bones, the white iron wrongly forged into traitors," standing before Yue Tomb, after worshiping Yue Fei and Yue Yun, who rested serenely beside the green waters of West Lake, Luo Ziling thoughtfully commented on the four iron statues kneeling in front of Yue Tomb, "These four have been kneeling for centuries. Even when the Manchu Qing entered, they weren't released. Yet now, many wish to stand them up, calling them heroes who promoted some fusion. Heh, what nonsense!"

"Indeed, the current historical perspective is messy," Yang Qingyin concurred, "Didn't someone propose considering Jin Wushu a national hero? He's a hero of the Jurchens, who later became part of Huaxia, a member of the Huaxia family. So, because he's their hero, he's also a hero of Huaxia. This theory sounds quite reasonable."

"Historical issues should be viewed from a historical perspective."

"Exactly!" Yang Qingyin laughed happily, "Historical issues should be considered from the historical context. If..."

Before Yang Qingyin could finish her hypothetical, Luo Ziling suddenly exclaimed, "Watch out!"

As he spoke, he quickly rushed over to shield Yang Qingyin.
