Chapter 044: There's Actually a Gun
Luo Ziling did not expect the other side to call for so many reinforcements, and he couldn't help but become furious.
He glared at Ouyang Huihui with a murderous look, then immediately stood firm to face the black-clothed men closing in from all sides.
Ouyang Huihui knew things had escalated, so she rushed to her car and, like Li Dongjun who had been beaten up, locked the doors from the inside.
"Sister, where are you..." The first call she made was to Ouyang Feifei.
While Ouyang Huihui was calling for help, the black-clothed men had already reached Luo Ziling.
Seeing that his reinforcements had arrived, Li Dongjun also regained his confidence, stepped out of the car, and with his phone in hand, he viciously ordered the black-clothed men, "Beat him, beat him hard, cripple his limbs. Damn it, to actually dare hit this young master, he must be tired of living."
The black-clothed men didn't make a sound, but slowly approached Luo Ziling, coordinating quite seamlessly.
Luo Ziling made the first move; he used his foot to flick a stone off the ground towards the third man on the left. As he kicked the stone, his body also darted forward, quickly attacking the man on the far left.
The third man on the left didn't expect Luo Ziling to take the initiative to attack, let alone use a stone as a hidden weapon. Caught off guard and unable to dodge, he was hit in the face by the stone and grunted, then fell backward.
The fall of their companion stunned the other black-clothed men for a moment, but by then, Luo Ziling was already upon the man on the far left. His movements were too fast for them, and before the man could react, a kick sent him flying. Then Luo Ziling used the momentum from that strike to spin his body and attack the second man on the left.
This man stepped back to defend and joined his hands to block Luo Ziling's fierce kick.
What the black-clothed man didn't expect was that a tremendous force came from Luo Ziling's leg, and with his strength, he couldn't withstand the kick. He was involuntarily knocked backward.
Seeing this, the other black-clothed men were shocked and immediately launched a collective attack, hoping to use their numerical advantage to take down Luo Ziling.
Li Dongjun's reinforcements numbered eight, with four men in each of the two cars, plus the original bodyguard, making it nine in total.
The first bodyguard, having been severely beaten by Luo Ziling, had already lost half his fighting capability, but he still stubbornly got up from the ground to rejoin the fray.
Luo Ziling knew the situation was troublesome today, thus he hadn't held back when he made his moves.
Apart from the man he had hit with the stone, his attacks on the other two were full force, knocking them down, temporarily unable to get up. And after each successful hit, he wasted no time, continuing his assaults on the nearby black-clothed men.
In a blink of an eye, two more black-clothed men fell with screams, both having taken heavy blows to the head, leaving them temporarily incapacitated.
Luo Ziling, tall and with long legs, excelled in leg-based martial arts. His grandfather, Luo Liansheng, often praised him during their sparring sessions, saying that his leg skills were exceptional and comparable to his father's, that is, Luo Liansheng's son Luo Xusheng.
Luo Ziling did not know what his absent father, whom he had never met and whose whereabouts were unknown, was capable of, but judging from his grandfather's tone, he guessed that his father, whom he resented, must be skilled.
This was not Luo Ziling's first time in a scuffle. The Northwest had a rugged local culture, especially among non-Han peoples.
Whenever Luo Ziling accompanied his grandfather Luo Liansheng to treat patients, they sometimes encountered villains. Following his grandfather, Luo Ziling had gained a lot of real combat experience through these encounters. Moreover, because he understood anatomy, he knew where to strike to easily incapacitate his opponents.
Therefore, in today's fight, he aimed for the vulnerable parts of his opponents.
Whoever he hit was definitely injured, and their combat effectiveness was affected more or less.
Luo Ziling was extremely agile and did not give his opponents the chance to surround him; instead, he sought to defeat them one by one.
He only attacked the black-clothed men at the outermost edges, not giving them the chance to flank him from front, back, left, or right.
If anyone tried to outflank him, he would immediately counterattack.
Soon, one after another, the black-clothed men were struck down to the ground by him.
Whenever a black-clothed man fell, they were hit hard and struggled to stand up and rejoin the fight immediately.
Ouyang Huihui, hiding in the car, had been worried that Luo Ziling would be beaten to death or maimed by Li Dongjun's bodyguards. As formidable as Luo Ziling was, he alone could hardly fight against multiple attackers, especially because she knew that Li Dongjun's bodyguards were highly skilled, with several being retired special forces soldiers.
But the situation developed completely beyond her expectations.
Luo Ziling turned out to be so capable of fighting that he overpowered Li Dongjun's bodyguards single-handedly, leaving them unable to fight back.
"This bastard, so young yet so skilled. I really underestimated him," Ouyang Huihui exclaimed in admiration after reporting the situation to her grandfather Ouyang Lingyun and hanging up the phone. She watched as Luo Ziling knocked down the fifth black-clothed man, "He looks so frail and even blushes when he talks. How could his martial arts be so powerful?"
Li Dongjun, who had thought he could beat Luo Ziling to a pulp, was also shocked, his jaw practically hanging open at the sight.
What kind of person had Ouyang Huihui offended? His nine bodyguards couldn't even subdue the man when they teamed up. Feeling even more panicked, she thought for a moment, pulled open the glove compartment in the car, took out a handgun, checked the magazine, and then jumped out of the vehicle.
Just as Li Dongjun got out of the car, Luo Ziling had just knocked down the seventh black-clothed man.
"Put your hands up, or I'll shoot!" Li Dongjun held the gun in both hands, aiming the dark muzzle directly at Luo Ziling.
He no longer hesitated. If all his bodyguards were taken down by Luo Ziling, he was the next one likely to get a beating.
He had been scared by Luo Ziling's earlier onslaught and didn't want to suffer any more physical pain. With nine bodyguards unable to restrain Luo Ziling, he had no choice but to use a weapon.
Luo Ziling was startled for a moment, not expecting his opponent to have a weapon.
Seeing that Luo Ziling dared not make a move, Li Dongjun laughed triumphantly, "So you think you can fight, huh? Come at me. I want to see whether you move faster or my bullets do."
Luo Ziling did not move but just looked at Li Dongjun with cold eyes.
The more triumphant Li Dongjun became, he took two steps closer, "Were you not acting so tough just now? Hahaha, you even dared to hit this young master. You should have inquired who this young master is. If you anger me, squashing you would be as easy as killing an ant!"
At this moment, the remaining unhurt black-clothed man, along with the bodyguard who had first followed Li Dongjun out, moved from the left and the right towards Luo Ziling.
