The Young Urban Doctor

Chapter 043: A Big Fight

The tall and robust man was Li Dongjun's bodyguard and driver.

Understanding the implication of his master's instruction, he didn't show any courtesy. Approaching Luo Ziling, he threw a punch without hesitation.

Angered at heart and eager to give Ouyang Huihui a thrashing, Luo Ziling saw her calling for backup and, infuriated, decided to leave.

Having been toyed with by Ouyang Huihui today, he was in no mood to attend Ouyang Lingyun's banquet.

He planned to walk to the bus station and take a bus back to school. He would call Ouyang Lingyun later to explain why he couldn't come for dinner, and he'd apologize to the Family Head in person next time. He believed Ouyang Lingyun wouldn't mind.

But he didn't expect that the help Ouyang Huihui had called for would actually strike at him.

When he realized that the tall and robust man silently swung a punch at him, he was thoroughly enraged.

Without any attempt to dodge, he quickly extended his left hand, grabbed the other's arm, and before his attacker could react, he pulled forcefully and then struck hard under the man's armpit with his right elbow.

This sequence of actions was carried out in one swift motion, without any pause, and the whole process took no more than a few seconds.

A cry of agony followed, and Li Dongjun's bodyguard, hit hard, involuntarily tilted to one side.

Luo Ziling had no intention of letting him off. After fighting back, he struck again with a fierce knee hit to the man's stomach.

After another muffled grunt from Li Dongjun's bodyguard, the man slowly fell to the ground.

Luo Ziling delivered another ruthless elbow strike to the back of the man's neck, and he fell to the concrete with a thud.

Luo Ziling channeled all his anger into the man, thus showing no mercy in his strikes.

After felling the burly man, Luo Ziling, still seething with rage, approached Li Dongjun, who was ingratiating himself with Ouyang Huihui.

Although Li Dongjun's bodyguard was skilled, Luo Ziling was not the least bit intimidated.

He was very confident in his own abilities.

This certainly surprised both Li Dongjun and Ouyang Huihui.

Li Dongjun knew the abilities of his driver and bodyguard well, so he was not worried about apprehending Luo Ziling.

Standing beside Ouyang Huihui, he asked about her condition with concern. He inquired if Luo Ziling had mistreated her or if she had been harmed. He also curiously asked why she was dressed in military attire, wondering if she was going to attend military training or some other event.

Li Dongjun was pursuing Ouyang Feifei and had designs on Ouyang Huihui as well. He had even entertained the thought of winning over both sisters, so he flattered them to no end, wishing to be by their sides all day.

It was only when he noticed Ouyang Huihui not answering his questions and staring in shock elsewhere that he realized something was wrong.

"What do you think you're doing?" When he noticed his bodyguard had been knocked to the ground and an enraged Luo Ziling coming towards him, Li Dongjun couldn't help but panic. But then, seeing Ouyang Huihui by his side, his arrogance surged, and he shouted at Luo Ziling, "Who the hell are you? How dare you run wild here? Believe it or not..."

Unfortunately for Li Dongjun, before he could finish his threat, Luo Ziling had already grabbed him by the collar.

"Dare to have someone hit me," Luo Ziling said as he lifted Li Dongjun up, and then he slammed him to the ground, yelling furiously, "What are you, a nobody? Get lost!"

The angry Luo Ziling was a stark contrast to his usually shy demeanor, like a wild beast provoked.

After throwing Li Dongjun to the ground, he stomped heavily on his stomach.

A miserable scream, akin to the wails of ghosts and howls of wolves, burst from Li Dongjun as he lay sprawled in disarray on the ground.

Ouyang Huihui was stunned; she could not believe that the seemingly gentle and shy Luo Ziling could be so violent, and she was slow to react.

Luo Ziling gave her a fierce glare but said nothing.

At that moment, the bodyguard Luo Ziling had knocked down struggled to his feet and charged toward Luo Ziling with quick steps.

Luo Ziling was not surprised that the burly man had risen to attack again; as he struck, he had judged that Li Dongjun's henchman was quite capable. His defeat a moment ago was merely due to carelessness and he should not have been beaten by a single blow.

As the bodyguard rushed toward him, he unleashed several powerful kicks in quick succession, each accompanied by a whooshing sound.

Luo Ziling did not block the blows head-on but dodged nimbly, and after retreating a couple of steps, launched his counterattack with a spinning kick.

Li Dongjun's bodyguard, unable to anticipate Luo Ziling's prowess, was caught off-guard by his ability to counterattack so quickly while dodging the fierce assault. Having already suffered at Luo Ziling's hands, he dared not take him lightly and immediately switched from offense to defense.

Seizing the opportunity, Li Dongjun got up from the ground, fished out his cellphone from his pocket, and prepared to call for reinforcements.

While Li Dongjun frantically sought help over the phone, Luo Ziling had fully shifted from defense to offense and, following a feint, landed a powerful punch on his opponent's face. It was a heavy blow that sent Li Dongjun's bodyguard flying, his half-swollen face ballooning even further.

Scattered along with the flying figure were several white specks.

Luo Ziling didn't stop there; his grandfather had taught him that whether dealing with wild beasts or enemies, one should never show mercy, but must cripple the opponent in one go, leaving them without the capacity to attack or retaliate—which would only invite serious trouble otherwise.

A powerful spinning kick landed heavily on the neck of the airborne bodyguard, sending him in a different direction and flying sideways with a muffled grunt.

The onslaught from Luo Ziling did not cease, a forceful diagonal chop striking fiercely on the opponent's shoulder.

With another muffled grunt, Li Dongjun's bodyguard, suffering another harsh blow, fell heavily to the ground, kicking up a cloud of dust and sand.

The dull thump of a body meeting concrete left Ouyang Huihui, who was watching everything in shock, too frightened to utter a word.

She was frozen, her gaze blank and dazed.

Li Dongjun, too, was stupefied, but he quickly retreated back to his car, locked the doors from inside, and redialed for help to arrive sooner.

Luo Ziling ignored Li Dongjun, who had taken refuge in the car, and approached the petrified Ouyang Huihui instead.

"What do you mean by this?" he asked Ouyang Huihui angrily.

"Don't hit me," Ouyang Huihui retreated hastily like a frightened rabbit. She hadn't expected Luo Ziling's martial prowess and feared he would also seize and beat her. "I was just joking with you; I didn't tell them to hit you. You can't hit women!"

Luo Ziling asked nothing further, only glaring unfriendly at Ouyang Huihui.

At this moment, two black cars sped from the direction of the villa area, heading straight for them after exiting the villa gate and only slowing down when they approached nearby with an abrupt brake.

Before the cars could come to a complete stop, the doors flung open, and several burly men dressed in black leaped out.

Two of the men in black rushed to the car where Li Dongjun was hiding, while several others encircled Luo Ziling.
