"Miss Ouyang, Mr. Qiang, goodbye," Luo Ziling waved to Ouyang Feifei and the steward Jin Guoqiang as he prepared to leave.

"Mr. Qiang, please arrange a ride for Mr. Luo back to his place," Ouyang Feifei said again, her eyes devoid of any emotion, "There are no taxis available here."

Luo Ziling could barely stand Ouyang Feifei's indifference and decisively waved his hand: "No need, I'll figure it out myself, goodbye!"

Having said that, Luo Ziling left without looking back.

After walking a long distance, Luo Ziling couldn't help but glance back, but the figure of that cold woman was no longer visible at the door of the mansion.

After stepping out of the gates of the luxurious villa, Luo Ziling finally felt a sense of relief.

The slight regret he initially felt also dissipated with the chilly demeanor Ouyang Feifei had just displayed.

He liked girls who were cheery, not women like Ouyang Feifei who carried a permanent frown and an air of arrogance day in and day out.

With one significant issue resolved, Luo Ziling no longer dwelled on it and walked away quite cheerfully.

On his way there, he had noticed a bus stop about one kilometer away from this villa district.

But just as he strode briskly away from the villas, a red Ferrari raced out of the district, and as Luo Ziling heard the roaring engine and instinctively tried to sidestep, the car screeched to a halt in front of him.

Luo Ziling, moving quickly, almost crashed into the rear of the car.

The car door opened, and Ouyang Huihui leapt out, cursing furiously: "You bastard, how dare you come here to call off the engagement? In what way is my sister not good enough for you, that you'd reject her? Who do you think you are? If anyone is to call off the engagement, it should be the Ouyang family suggesting it; my sister is the one who wants to break it off; what makes you think someone like a yokel like you is worthy?"

Ouyang Huihui was nearly driven mad today; she could not believe that the man grandfather occasionally mentioned, who was engaged to her sister, was the same jerk who had once extorted money from her. After encountering Luo Ziling visiting the villa district, Ouyang Huihui immediately phoned her sister, Ouyang Feifei.

Thinking Luo Ziling was here to ask for her sister's hand in marriage, Ouyang Huihui endlessly belittled him, insisting to Ouyang Feifei that under no circumstances should she accept the marriage proposal.

After receiving the call, Ouyang Feifei rushed back home as well.

Neither of them expected that Luo Ziling's visit wasn't to propose, but to break off the engagement.

This infuriated Ouyang Huihui even more. She and her sister, whom she believed to be as beautiful as fairies, had countless suitors which inflated their vanity to unprecedented levels.

Throughout the years, many wealthy heirs rotated around them; men who had not only their looks but also power, status, or fortune. Ouyang Huihui deemed none of them worthy of attention, let alone Luo Ziling, who seemed like a country bumpkin in her eyes.

Ouyang Feifei was beautiful, kind to her, and extraordinarily capable — trusted by their grandfather at such a young age to handle important family business. To Ouyang Huihui, her sister was her greatest pride and the object of her utmost admiration.

But now, her sister, so capable and beautiful she was hailed as Yanjing's Number One Beauty, was being dumped by a country bumpkin, which truly enraged Ouyang Huihui to the point of spitting blood.

Having overheard the situation while hiding, Ouyang Huihui nearly charged in on the spot to either fiercely scold or beat up Luo Ziling. Once he took his leave, she immediately drove after him and intercepted him, releasing all her pent-up fury.

Luo Ziling quickly stepped back two paces and wiped several specks of spit from his face, then said quite dissatisfied, "Hey, can't you be reasonable? You crazy woman, I didn't provoke you, why are you being so fierce towards me?"

"How am I not being reasonable? You're the mad one," Ouyang Huihui shouted with hands on her hips and in a towering rage, "Don't think you can bully the Ouyang family, daring to do something like this?"

How dare he call her a mad woman, Ouyang Huihui was nearly exploding with rage.

Luo Ziling also became instantly angry, "You think I'm not good enough for your sister when I come to propose, and now you're insulted when I come to break it off; what do you want me to do then? Are you somewhat psychologically twisted? Didn't I just ask you for smartphone money yesterday? Do you need to go into a rage over such a trivial thing? Hmph, and calling me a vile hooligan; with a crazy woman like you, who would be interested in harrassing you!"

Luo Ziling daring to talk back pushed Ouyang Huihui to the brink of death once again, "You don't know what to do? Then I'll tell you, go back and propose to my sister, and then have my sister coldly refuse you and kick you out, that's how we can let this go. Otherwise, we are far from finished!"

"You must be reading too much fiction," Luo Ziling said with a cold sneer, "Don't think you're some noble princess that every man in the world has to revolve around. Stop bothering me; I'm going back. If you dare to curse at me again, I won't be polite."

Saying so, he turned around and left.

"You can't leave," Ouyang Huihui felt a murderous impulse as Luo Ziling actually dared to turn his back on her while she was furious. She lunged forward, her arms flailing, blocking Luo Ziling's path, "You can't leave. You go back and apologize to my sister, or we are not done!"

Luo Ziling ignored her and continued walking.

"Bastard, you stop right there," Ouyang Huihui's fury fully erupted, completely losing her rationality, she prepared to fight Luo Ziling.

Too agitated to watch her step, she tripped as she charged at Luo Ziling.

Her body became unsteady and she stumbled toward Luo Ziling.

Seeing Ouyang Huihui scream and fall towards him, Luo Ziling agilely dodged aside.

But as he dodged, he felt something was amiss; it seemed the woman was about to fall to the ground, so he quickly reached out his hand to help her.
