The Witcher – Uchiha Madara!

Chapter 226 - A Marriage Proposal.

[Chapter Size: 2000 Words.]

Third Person POV

Redania.

...

...

They were near Novigrad at that moment, as they had chosen to camp there.

As always, a large house had been built by Madara, while Geralt and Yennefer were in the kitchen of the place, drinking and talking to each other. Madara was with Ciri in the bedroom, having a serious conversation.

"Do you think this can work?" Ciri asked as blood dripped from her hand, more than 500 ml of it dripping into a vial that Madara had given her.

She was putting her blood in it, just as Madara had requested.

"Yes... it's a bit strange to use this on beings without chakra, but it worked with the griffin and also my horse, as long as I make a summoning contract," Madara said, watching her finish.

"I believe that even though I can't make a contract with you or any other human... by using your blood and its properties, I'll be able to use the same theory of the summoning contract to reach you if I can create the right fuuinjutsu," Madara explained as she nodded.

"That would be very nice, Madara." She said with a small smile, obviously, she didn't want to be away from him.

"Even though things don't seem so simple, those who want to abduct you are beings from another world capable of traveling, and also your powers can spiral out of control, sending you anywhere, possibly even to another unknown world. In all cases it will be dangerous. I will prepare by collecting your blood to try to reach or pull you. I want to have a stock of at least 4 liters of blood with me," Madara said in a serious tone.

"4 liters? Won't that kill me?" She asked immediately.

"I'm not going to just take 4 liters from you all at once, silly girl. We'll do this over the next few weeks. I'll take 500 ml at a time and let you recover so as not to harm you," he said.

"I guess you're right." She said, embarrassed, laughing at Madara's words.

They stayed there while Ciri finished filling the vial with her red blood. Madara cleaned her hand, moving it away from the vials, and touched the cut with his hand, emitting a greenish glow. He wasn't a healing expert, but healing a cut was easy for him at this point.

She was satisfied with her hand clean from the cut and watched him store the vial, adding his own blood after cutting around it, to preserve it with the chakra of his blood, according to what Madara had said.

"You know..." Ciri looked at the closed door and turned back to Madara with a mischievous smile.

"We've had to stay apart to have any time for ourselves... Yennefer hasn't let us sleep together since she joined us. But it looks like she drank too much and will probably sleep with Geralt. We could take advantage of this night," she said, trying to seduce him.

"You just lost a significant amount of blood. I think we better leave this for another time, Ciri," Madara said, not because he found the idea unpleasant, but because it could be bad for her in that state.

"It's just blood. My desire is greater, Madara," she said, standing up while slipping off one strap of her nightgown and pulling Madara with her as they fell onto the bed, she climbing on top of him with the same smile full of desire.

"The door," Madara said, so no one would come in, as his hands went to her thigh, lifting her smile as he desired her too.

Ciri just raised her finger toward the door, which closed with a click, while Madara raised an eyebrow.

"I'm learning a few tricks with Yennefer," she said, approaching him and kissing him.

"Yennefer treats us like children, but we're already adults. And I don't want to be a mother past my youth, to have healthier children," she said.

"That's dangerous, Ciri. We should think about that when we're in a position to take care of a child," Madara said.

Ciri said nothing more, agreeing that Madara was right, as they gave in to their carnal desires right there, without anyone to interrupt them that night, with Yennefer ending up having to share the night with Geralt.

The next day, Madara opened his eyes with Ciri already awake, as she stared at him intensely with her emerald eyes, her chin resting on his chest.

"What are you thinking about?" he asked, touching her naked body.

"I was thinking about our talk on having children... but we couldn't, you know..." She seemed hesitant.

"Do you want us to get married?" he asked, raising an eyebrow as she nodded, seeming to have a hard time admitting it with words. After all, she was the woman here—Madara was supposed to make the proposal.

However, Madara always seemed distant, even though Ciri knew he cared for her and she loved him. He just didn't seem to care about these things until now, and she had to give him a little push to make him realize it.

"Alright," he said simply.

"Really?!" She sat up, almost shouting with an excited smile.

"Yes. How about we do it in Skellige? I'm sure we can find trustworthy witnesses there. We could even use Novigrad, but I don't like that city," he said, but Ciri already jumped on him with a kiss, throwing herself over him naked.

"Thank you! We're getting married!" Her excitement was unmatched as she seemed to hold onto it for the rest of the day. He stayed there for a while, the target of her joyful affection, until they eventually got out of bed, got dressed, and went downstairs.

"Good morning!" Ciri practically shouted to Geralt and Yennefer in the kitchen as she and Madara walked into the room.

The older ones had woken up earlier and were eating, looking surprised at Ciri smiling and practically skipping around while Madara walked calmly as if nothing had happened.

"What's with all this excitement?" Yennefer asked with suspicious eyes.

"Madara and I decided we're going to get married in Skellige! I'm going to ask Uncle Mousesack to lead the ceremony!" she said, leaving the two of them in shock.

"Is this serious? Like... you decided that last night?" Yennefer asked, nearly choking.

"It was this morning," Ciri said, grabbing something to eat from the table.

Geralt's eyes went to Madara with an accusatory look, while the shinobi ignored him.

"Don't you think this is happening a bit too fast?" Geralt asked, turning back to Ciri.

"You want her to marry too late, you fool? Ciri is already at the limit age for that," Yennefer argued, after all, girls—especially princesses—got married at fourteen across all the realms of the Continent.

"I just think it was very sudden," Geralt said.

"Things are getting a bit dangerous, it's good to take advantage of the time we have for this. But we won't have children now," Madara said.

In the end, they kept eating while Ciri didn't stop showing how excited she was until they finally decided to leave.

They headed toward Novigrad, arriving at the city around noon. Unsurprisingly, the city was enormous—larger than any other except the great capitals.

It had strong trade with Kovir, Temeria, and the other southern realms. Even trips to Skellige could be frequent when there weren't many pirates on the waters in certain parts of the year.

"Novigrad... You said you don't like this city, but may I ask why?" Ciri asked as she saw the walls in the distance. Madara had said that, but he had never been here.

"This will be the heart of the religion called Eternal Fire," Madara said in a calm tone, though he could already see the terror this place would bring.

"And more than that—in the future, try to stay as far away from this place as possible, or avoid entering it as a witcher or sorceress. Come on, I'll handle our entry," Madara said, leaving the other three confused while his horse moved forward.

They chose one of the entrances with a line to get into the place, where a group of guards was questioning everyone who wanted passage. Some goods and bags were being inspected, leading to the arrest of one or two men.

They entered the line mounted on their horses and waited for their turn. When it came, one of the guards cautiously approached the group. Madara activated his Sharingan, affecting not just one guard, but three others who were watching them.

The guard merely looked at them, as if making sure they had nothing, and simply waved his hand.

"Go, don't make a mess in the city and get in!" he said in a harsh tone.

The four didn't complain as the group entered the city the next moment, taken aback by the chaotic scene before them. The streets in that part of the city were muddy, since it had rained yesterday, and people walked around with boots and shoes covered in mud.

"This place... definitely feels strange..." Ciri even lost the excitement she'd had since morning, her expression slightly disappointed.

There were prostitutes walking in the open offering their bodies, drunkards falling in the mud, beggars standing around asking for coins, and children stealing as they ran from guards, trying to spend the stolen coins or goods—sometimes even before the guards could catch them. There were also bards playing in exchange for coins—if the children didn't rob the listeners first.

There were common folk too, arguing loudly, shouting insults at each other, while others haggled with merchants. Some were clearly sharing gossip. The merchants ranged from friendly to downright grumpy.

This was Novigrad.

They kept riding calmly through the crowd as the horses moved forward.

"Hey, do you need a guide in the city?" Someone suddenly ran up to Yennefer's horse and stopped it, only to be kicked in the face by another horse as Madara sent him flying several meters. The man landed dazed while people looked on, backing away from the hooded man who had kicked him, fear of trouble in their eyes.

"Did you really have to kick him like that?" Geralt muttered.

"He was about to grab your woman's leg. You should have done it," Madara said in a dry tone.

"Well, he has a point, Geralt," Yennefer teased him, though she knew she could defend herself, as they continued on to an area with less mud, looking at the harbor as they climbed the city's inclines toward the main part.

"So... should we look around the city first before looking for a ship to Skellige?" Ciri asked as they moved away from the port.

"It's good to take a look at the city," Madara commented as they reached the main square, a place surrounded by more elite kinds of trade, while guards watched the four hooded figures with some caution.

The city was much larger than Madara had known from the game, obviously. But it was quite beautiful in this part, where there were none of those cremations of sorcerers, alchemists, and monsters.

A sound caught their attention as a man was thrown out of one of the inns nearby, making the group look in surprise, as the man—a bard—picked up his broken lute in anger.

"You'll regret this! You will never again have the presence of the magnificent Dandelion!" the bard shouted indignantly.

"Dandelion."

A voice called out to him, and Dandelion looked to the side, seeing none other than his old friend.

He had been at Kaer Morhen two months ago, but had left before Madara returned after the trouble with the non-humans in Kaedwen. Since then, the bard had traveled across the continent, making it quite the coincidence to find them here, just as they were passing through.

"Geralt! I can't believe it!" he exclaimed, drawing the attention of the entire square, while Geralt had hoped to keep a low profile—but Dandelion didn't seem to be helping with that.
