Soul Transformation Part 1
Chapter 33 Soul Transformation Part 1
The soul that had rebounded against the wall quickly regained its composure and felt embarrassed by its actions. It swiftly ran to a nearby table and hid behind it, resembling a cat soaked in water. The soul watching it laughed even harder. Soon, the watching soul realized that the other soul had become a cat. Wondering how this change occurred, it asked the soul, "Kailey! Do you know how you transformed into a cat?"
"Huh, what do you mean transformed into a ca-" The words she was saying abruptly cut off as she looked down at herself and saw four legs. Kailey was struck with astonishment as she beheld her new form. The first thing she checked was her paws. As Kailey anticipatedly looked at her paws, she excitedly shouted, "Toe beans!" Aleshia, not understanding what Kailey meant by shouting out "toe beans," didn't question her further, as it didn't want to ruin her excitement.
Kailey began excitedly prancing around the table, adjusting to walking on four legs. As soon as she felt comfortable, she leaped atop the table she was circling and began crouching, preparing to jump to another platform across the room. Once prepared, Kailey released her crouch and sprang towards the platform like a springboard. As she finished landing, she sprung up with laughter. Several minutes passed, Kailey's excited giggles filling the room. As she played around in her new form, she soon grew tired and decided to lie down. However, the Aleshia's question remained unanswered.
Aleshia was patiently waiting for Kailey to explain how she transformed. She decided not to interrupt her fun despite her waning patience. However, she eventually asked the question once again. "How did you transform into a cat?" With the question in the air, Kailey realized she had ignored the Aleshia's question and apologetically walked toward her with cute, teary eyes. "I'm sorry, I don't have a definite answer for you. I think I subconsciously went to my comfort place and remembered the cat I used to play with on my way to purchase foodstuffs. That might have been the trigger for me transforming into a cat."
Kailey's teary eyes didn't sway Aleshia, but she was grateful for the information, as any information was better than none. The Aleshia pondered Kailey's words and thought deeply about them. Realizing to transform into things, one needed a strong emotional attachment to them, strong enough to think about them subconsciously.
