Chapter 38: Vol. 1: Chp. 38 Aura's Clash {Pt. 8}
"Do you think we got away?"
Right after getting freed by Tanjo; Akogare, Meisei, and Sukudo escaped the scene. As for Utsukushi- she was still unconscious but Akogare placed her down with her back leaning up against a wall of a small wooden building.
"Where did Tanjo go? Did he not run with us?" Sukudo suddenly asked, gaining both Akogare and Meisei's attention.
"I have no clue, I just ran when he told us to," Meisei answered first, getting a nod in return from Sukudo.
"I only got a glimpse, but I did see Tanjo stop and look around for something. I don't know why but I assume that he went to look for whatever it was." Akogare hypothesized, scratching the back of his head.
"Wait-" Meisei began speaking, making Akogare and Sukudo look back at him once more, "Where did Naderamu go? Wasn't she running out into the open and shouting when we were still trapped by the ants?" Meisei questioned, attempting to remember the recently occurring events.
Akogare's eyes squinted, looking down at the ground with a hand cupping his chin in thought. Sukudo caught this motion, leading him to question Akogare. "What is it, Akogare?"
Sukudo's question seemed to bring Meisei out of his own ruminations, glancing towards Akogare.
"Well, I was just thinking. But don't you think that the timing between Naderamu's shouting and Tanjo's beam was too convenient?" Akogare explained, looking back up at the two blue aura's standing before him.
"Are you saying that Tanjo and Naderamu made up a plan to save us?" Meisei examined, raising a brow to assist in his questioning.
Akogare looked over to Meisei, opening his mouth to respond. "Well, it's not too far-fetched to believe so. I doubt that Naderamu is dumb enough to just run into the open. After all this time of knowing her, she wouldn't do something so thoughtlessly like that. Especially in a time like this." Akogare reasoned.
Meisei opened his mouth to speak as well, "Yeah, it does seem to be cutting close. If we were to have all used our own magic; we would've all tired ourselves out."
"Also, only you and Tanjo speak to her, so of cour--what is that?" Sukudo began speaking, then cutting himself off mid-sentence and pointing behind Akogare.
"What's wha-*BOOM*"
The three blue aura students all dived to the side, dodging an incoming red beam.
The sound of footsteps was then heard by the three students, making them all look up towards the source of the sound.
Due to the beam, a small cloud of smoke fogged their vision from being able to look at whatever was coming. A shadow was then identified within the cloud of smoke, walking forward at a leisurely pace.
After the shadow took a few more steps, a person emerged from the smoke- making the three blue aura students' eyes widen.
"What a nice surprise; Three lousy blue aura's cowering on the ground." A rough and masculine voice spoke, belonging to a teenager with spiky silver hair that rests above his ears, light grey eyes, and black nails. But the most concerning was the red headband that the teenager was wearing on his head.
The spiky-haired teen then looked over to the unconscious Utsukushi resting up on a wall. "Wow, one of you is already out. You guys' must have not fared well with the weaklings of my class." He then spoke with a voice full of mockery.
The three blue aura students quickly stood up, keeping their eyes locked on the new threat in front of them.
The spiky-haired red aura student raised his fist, his knuckles facing the sky. "Please, don't make this a wild goose chase." The student spoke maliciously.
Suddenly, the red aura student's hand was covered by multiple red spikes that protruded out of his skin. Making the three blue aura's jump from the spikes' sudden extension.
"Guys, It's three against one. We can take him- right?" Akogare attempted to encourage his classmates.
The spiky-haired student then smiled, "Whoever said I was alone?"
A red blur flew past the three students' faces, making contact with the wall beside them.
The three of them looked over to what flew past them, spotting a red spike lodged within a wooden wall with what seemed like string attached to its end.
Following the string, they noticed another spiky silver-haired student, but the hair traveled down the side of his face down to his chin. He also had light black eyes, and also had black nails.
The string that the three were tracing with their eyes earlier was now seen to be attached to the second newcomer's wrist. One thing threw the blue aura students off. The second newcomer had an adorned look of nervousness and fear, practically shaking in his spot from the rooftop.
"P-please cooperate, o-or we w-will have to u-use extreme force!" The nervous newcomer threatened in a shaky tone.
The first newcomer facepalmed, an annoyed look was present on the features that were still uncovered from the hand. "Suteru, we went over this! You're making us look weak!" He then yelled at the other red aura, eliciting a shout from the nervous and shaky newcomer.
"You know I suck at this, Jigyo!" The newcomer now known as Suteru shot back, looking at the first newcomer that is also identified as Jigyo.
Jigyo then sighed, removing his hand from his face. "Sometimes I wonder how I got you as a brother. Now, back to wha- HEY!"
The three blue aura students are now seen running away, firstly grabbing Utsukushi and sprinting away from the confusing scene that was occurring in behind them.
"Go after them Suteru!" Jigyo demanded, beginning to chase after the now running blue aura's.
As the blue aura students were escaping the earlier predicament, Akogare opened his mouth to speak.
"We have to find Tanjo and Naderamu, or at least a more open space!" Akogare hollered to his classmates, still currently running away from the two previous threats.
"Akogare, if we keep running, the match will never end. Or at the very least, we'll only just get caught and lose!" Sukudo reasoned out, looking towards Akogare as he ran behind him.
Akogare then seemed like he was contemplating something as he was running, still managing to hit turns and stay running in the process.
"If that's the case, then we'll just have to show them how strong we can be! Like I said earlier-- find a more open area, but one that still has some surrounding buildings!" Akogare ordered, adorning a look of determination.

"Where the hell did those losers go!?" Jigyo yelled angrily, then looked towards his brother Suteru who was running on the rooftops above him, "Next time, don't speak at all. I'll handle the confrontation!" Jigyo commanded, getting a small yelp in return from Suteru.
The spiky-haired brothers then stopped in their tracks, spotting the familiar short white-haired Meisei standing in the open with his magic-filled bow in his clutches.
"Hey! Where the hell did your teammates cower off to!" Jigyo yelled out to Meisei in a demanding tone, making red spikes protrude out of his other arm and cover his hand.
All Meisei did to respond was raise his bow to head level, reel the string of his bow back and prepare to fire off an arrow.
Jigyo smiled wryly, amused by Meisei's preparation. "Are you gonna shoot me, blue aura?" He then questioned,
"Uh, Jigyo. Don't you think you should move out of the way?" Suteru apprehensively asked his brother.
"Nah, I want to see what he does. Now stay quiet." Jigyo answered with an amused tone, anxious to see what the bow-wielding blue aura will do.
Meisei squinted his eyes, keeping a stern glare at the arrogant red aura student in front of him.
*WHOOSH*
With a yelp made by Suteru, the arrow that was being constricted by Meisei's fingers was sent flying towards Jigyo's direction. Or maybe not exactly in his direction.
The arrow flew right over Jigyo's head, reaching the top of the buildings behind him.
Jigyo then adorned a bemused look, "You missed? I knew you were a loser, but damn. That was awful." Jigyo mocked Meisei.
Meisei smiled at Jigyo's mockery, confusing Jigyo with a happy expression.
"What are you smiling at?" Jigyo asked Meisei with an annoyed tone, making Meisei open his lips to speak.
"Oh, nothing. Just the sight of an arrow hitting you is pretty funny." Meisei responded, getting a raised brow from Jigyo in return.
"Wha-ARGH!" Jigyo attempted to speak but felt something sharp hit him right in the mid-section of his back.
The blue arrow Meisei shot earlier somehow found its way right into Jigyo's back, making him attempt to pull the arrow out of his back.
Meisei then breathed in, "NOW!" He proceeded to shout out into the sky, triggering some type of response.
Jigyo's eyes widened to the size of saucers as he felt himself get constricted by something that felt like a rope. He looked down and noticed a blue magic-filled whip wrapped around his torso.
"Jigyo!" Suteru shouted fearfully, running towards his brother.
Magic-filled hawks then covered the sun's rays when soaring through the skies and diving towards Suteru. The hawks blinded Suteru by constantly ramming into him and blocking his path to Jigyo.
Jigyo was then yanked backwards, turning around in the process and felt a knee hit him right in the front of his face, eliciting a nasty crack. Jigyo then landed onto the ground, still wrapped in the whip, bouncing from the contact of the ground and hitting the earth's surface once more. Ultimately blacking out in the end.
As for Suteru, the hawks continued to circle him. Knocking him all around. Until.
*WHAM*
A fist emerged from the barrage of hawks, hitting him square in the face and getting launched backwards.
Landing on the dirt-covered ground, Suteru looked back up and saw Sukudo standing where he was just was launched back from, still keeping his fist in front of him, indicating who punched Suteru.
Meisei then walked up to Suteru, forming another bow and reeling the string of his bow back, taking aim at Suteru. "Now, I ask you to please cooperate or we'll have to use extreme force." He then mockingly ordered. 'I'm such a badass!' Meisei silently relished, glee brimming within him from the resolution of the fight.
"YEAH! WE DID IT!" Akogare gleefully shouted, pumping a fist into the air repeatedly, also keeping the unconscious Jigyo wrapped in his whip.
"Akogare, is Utsukushi still safe?" Sukudo questioned, making Akogare form a smile.
"Yup! She's safe, let's just hope that she wakes up soon." Akogare answered, the bright smile still being visible on his face.
Due to Akogare having contagious smiles, Sukudo smiled as well.

Tanjo can be seen sprinting all around, searching for Naderamu. Once he finds her, they both can group up with the class once more and make another attempt at winning the match against the rivalling class.
As he was running about, looking for Naderamu. He suddenly heard heavy thuds resonating from between the buildings and structures all around him. Tanjo then stopped and looked all around him, trying to spot whatever was causing the deep and repetitive thuds.
The thuds suddenly got deeper and louder, the pace of the thuds increasing. Tanjo could only question what was happening until he turned around and saw a giant red figure running at him with full force. The giant red figure reeled a fist back and launched it at Tanjo's solar plexus.
Tanjo, fortunately, dodged the punch, feeling the heat radiate off of the humongous armoured arm in front of him.
Tanjo's feet slid back on the ground due to how abrupt his dodge was, especially when he used almost all of his body's weight to dodge in time. Maintaining his sight on the towering red-figure before him.
The red figure started to stand up straight, turning towards Tanjo's direction, giving Tanjo a full view of the monstrosity before.
What Tanjo didn't expect was it to speak, "Hi there enemy!" especially in such a hearty tone.
'Huh.'
