The Unruly Immortals

Chapter 384 White Tower

Facing a formidable enemy, Li Huowang ignored the pain and took out two Fluorescent Stones from his bosom, hurling them directly into the darkness of the water.

The glowing stones quickly sank, illuminating a corner of the "Dragon King grandpa" in the dark, revealing a long object that seemed to be covered in black hair in front of him.

"What is all this!" Li Huowang gritted his teeth, wielding the sword in his right hand, and chopped down on his own wrist,

Ferocious Bone Spurs drilled out from the severed limb, rapidly rotating and clawing towards that object.

From Li Huowang's severed limb, several black tentacles wriggled out, barely forming a hand.

As Li Huowang's left hand moved in and out of the black mass, the seawater gradually turned black with blood, and the mass that should have been condensed began to disperse.

Face-like objects began to emerge from the black hair, their dark green eyes filled with hostility and murderous intent.

"These aren't human faces, they're monkey faces; there was never any Dragon King, just a bunch of water monkeys huddled together." Li Huowang thought to himself as he looked at the things in front of him, which twisted like seaweed.

"Water monkeys will do, at least they can understand human speech."

With a clang, he drew out the Purple Tassel Sword, his body covered in soaring Evil Qi, and Li Huowang opened his mouth wide, as bubbles rolled towards the surface, "Scram!"

The group of water monkeys stared fiercely at Li Huowang, but after a while, their black-haired bodies started to sway with the waves and gradually disappeared from sight, seemingly scared off by Li Huowang.

Seeing that the crisis was averted, Li Huowang prepared to surface, but he hadn't seen the bald man with a large beard. "Where is he? I haven't seen him just now."

Li Huowang burst from the water, took several deep breaths, and dived back into the water to search for the missing man with the big beard.

After several back and forth attempts, Li Huowang finally found the bald man with the sideburns at the bottom of the water.

Only half of his face was missing, and his left eye had been gouged out by a water monkey. The skin on his face was washed whiter by the seawater than Bai Lingmiao's.

"You...." Li Huowang didn't know what to say as he looked at the other's body.

"Amitabha, Amitabha, you have a bald head, you can still do good deeds, you must have been a remarkable monk." The monk began to chant prayers beside him.

With no choice, Li Huowang sighed inwardly, grabbed the beard dispersing in the bloody water, and swam towards the surface.

"I should have tested his abilities before letting him dive back in."

As Li Huowang was contemplating these things, a cry of alarm suddenly came from the monk behind him. "Taoist, be careful!! There's something behind you--!"

Before the monk could finish, Li Huowang sharply turned his head, and the last thing he saw was a mouth as big as a house, filled with thick dark, and long tentacles.

"Hmm?" Li Huowang stared blankly at the dusty ceiling fan above his head.

A white wildflower filled Li Huowang's vision. "Brother, you're awake? Look, isn't this flower pretty? I picked it from outside."

Li Huowang shifted his gaze, following the chubby hand holding the flower upward, seeing a simple and honest chubby face.

He looked quite old, at least in his forties or fifties, yet his actions had a childlike sense, and his eyes had an especially pure light.

Suddenly, Li Huowang's muscles tensed instantly, "That's not right! I was just being eaten by something in the water, how could I suddenly be here?"

He struggled to sit up, only to find his limbs were firmly bound by wide straps.

"Brother, this is White Tower Hospital, although some people also call it White Tower Prison. I was brought here by a guard after being caught rummaging through trash bins on the street."

"The guard said I wasn't too stupid, so he let me pour the stinky stuff to feed you, and then he would give me more candy," he added.

Faced with everything unfamiliar around him, Li Huowang's mind raced, "No matter why Black Taisui's power failed, since I can appear in the illusion, that proves I'm not dead yet, and there's still hope! No, this is inside that guy's belly! I must get out of here as soon as possible!"

After sorting everything out, Li Huowang turned to the man beside him. "Can you do me a favor? Help me undo these restraints."

The man immediately shook his head like a rattle-drum, "No way, the guard said we can't unlock them. If I set you free, I'll be put in solitary confinement."

With the situation outside being extremely urgent, Li Huowang couldn't afford to waste any time here.

He took a deep breath and suddenly turned to the left, flipping the metal bed over with a piercing clang.

Li Huowang's actions immediately scared the other man to tears. He kept banging on the iron door and cried out to the camera above, "Guard, wu wu wu, come quick! I'm scared!"

Li Huowang twisted his body, bouncing the iron bed high into the air before letting it crash down heavily to the ground.

Using this force, Li Huowang crushed his own left palm, fracturing it into several pieces, then with gritted teeth, he gave a fierce pull.

The bunched-together left hand slid out of the restraint like a noodle, finally free.

Using his only movable pinkie finger, Li Huowang desperately worked on the restraint buckle, and soon his right hand was freed as well.

By this time, Li Huowang could hear the sound of leather shoes outside the ward, moving faster and faster.

As a prison officer charged in, Li Huowang's right knee shot up and the man's three ribs broke instantly on impact.

Just after overpowering one man, two tasers were inserted into Li Huowang's body, causing him to tremble unremittingly from the shock.

Li Huowang clenched his teeth, grabbed the wires and pulled hard, then glared with a deadly gaze at the remaining prison officers.

That man trembled all over from the sight of Li Huowang's fierce expression. Although he had other weapons, he knew his chances against Li were very slim, knowing full well why this individual was held here.

"Li Huowang? Li Huowang, right? I know you're bisexual, and you must be able to hear what I'm saying, right?"

"Stay calm, please, stay calm. Your girlfriend just finished visiting and hasn't left yet. I'll call her over to see you. How about that?"

Li Huowang ignored him, took the magnetic card and electric shock gun from the prison officer on the floor, and rushed toward the door.

"I don't care what you are, you think I'm going to sit in your stomach and wait to die! Don't even think about it!!"

As Li Huowang kept opening iron gates and attacking prison officers, alarms began sounding off throughout the psychiatric ward of White Tower Prison, with several teams rushing toward the exit to enter the area.

After sizing up the situation, Li Huowang made the rational choice not to escape through the exit.

Looking around, he burst into the prison officers' office and with one footstep, he leaped from the fourth floor before anyone could react.

"Cough cough~!" Li Huowang spat blood, shakily standing up from the grass.

Ignoring the neurotic patients coming up to him for air, Li Huowang looked up at the towering gray cells in front with a triumphant smile on his face.

"I don't care who or what you are, but you think you can eat me? Keep dreaming!"
