Chapter 6: Chapter 6: First mission (1st part)
IN THE MORNING
After everything that happened the night before, Raizor woke up early to go to the academy before everyone else so that no one would suspect why Lena and he arrived together.
"Goodness, I'm so sleepy," he said in his mind as he walked towards the academy, but halfway there, he stopped as he felt someone behind him.
"Well, I never thought you'd recover so quickly, Erick," Raizor said as he turned around, and at that moment, Erick appeared.
"Even if you say it that way, you were expecting it," Erick said as he walked towards Raizor with a smile and his hands in his pockets.
Raizor and Erick approached each other, standing a meter apart, silence fell between them, but they stared into each other's eyes, ready to fight.
"You know, Erick, even if I wanted to give you a rematch right now, I can't," Raizor said with a smile.
"I already know that; I just came to give you advice about the little mission your academy will give you," Erick said, surprising Raizor, who only looked at him fiercely while the other smiled sarcastically.
"For you, the mission will be easy, but for your classmates, it won't be, as the mission they'll have is to steal files for the army," Erick said as he turned to leave.
"Erick, what do you mean by that?" Raizor asked, looking at him seriously.
"What I mean is that the files they're going to steal are from the United States Army, so I advise you to figure out how to prevent anyone from dying. Good luck, Raizor," he replied, looking at him out of the corner of his eye with a smile, which annoyed Raizor.
"I assure you, Erick, no one will die," Raizor said as he turned to leave, giving Erick his back.
"We'll see about that, but anyway, goodbye, Raizor, good luck on the mission," Erick said as he left.
Raizor arrived at his room in the academy, but he couldn't shake off Erick's words because if what he said is true, they'll have a big problem.
After about three hours, the other students began to arrive at the academy; everyone greeted Lena, who went straight to her group of friends who were waiting for her to enter.
But before they could talk, they were summoned by the principal; when they arrived, they were surprised to see that Raizor was also there.
"Well, now that everyone is here, I'll tell you why I called you," the principal said, looking at them, leaving Lena's friends a little surprised.
"I'll get straight to the point; the army gave us a mission, and even though you're newcomers, you've been chosen for the mission," the principal said, surprising everyone except Raizor, something that caught Lena's attention.
"And before you ask, the mission is about stealing files from the United States Army base," she said, leaving them all speechless except Lena and Raizor.
But Lena noticed how Raizor clenched his fists, but his face didn't seem angry, which made her wonder if he already knew about the mission.
"In other words, principal, you mean we have to infiltrate stealthily, right?" Raizor asked the principal, leaving everyone surprised by the way he spoke to her.
"You're correct, Raizor; apparently, you already know what I mean with this mission," the principal said to him, leaving the rest curious.
"Principal, I won't argue about the 'why,' but I would like you to give the colonel a message from me," Raizor said as he turned to leave.
"And what would that message be?" the principal asked, giving Raizor a stern look.
"If Lena gets hurt or, worst-case scenario, if one of them dies, THE REAPER will come for him," Raizor replied with a somber tone that scared Lena's friends but also left them somewhat surprised by his words.
"All right, I'll deliver that message; now, go get ready," the principal said to everyone, prompting them to go change.
Although Lena's friends wondered why he said that, she was blushing because of what Raizor said, although she was somewhat intrigued because he seemed worried about the mission.
After they prepared to go on the mission, Lena's friends, including her, waited for Raizor, who had not yet arrived.
"Hey, here he comes," Lena's friend said, causing her to turn around and be surprised by Raizor's appearance.
Raizor was wearing a black suit with a gray shirt underneath, and in his right hand, he had a black glove, which surprised Lena's friends while she blushed a little.
"You're all set; good luck," the principal said as they boarded the plane that would take them to the base, and since they would be traveling during the day, they would arrive in the United States at night.
"Sara, you'd better tell that idiot colonel what I told you because I swear I'll fulfill it," Raizor said in his mind as he looked out the window of the plane at the clouds.
On the other hand, Sara went to the colonel to tell him that the students had been sent on the mission, but she also told him what Raizor had asked, leaving the colonel surprised.
"Sara, don't tell me that guy is—" He didn't finish speaking as the principal interrupted him.
"That's right, colonel; student Raizor knows THE REAPER," Sara said, making the colonel's face turn pale as he knows what THE REAPER is capable of.
