Chapter 205: Sow Your Seed Across the World, Kid! (Part 3)
"I don't care about other Dragons, but as for any Red Dragon with the surname Sed Ponga, whether she's an adolescent, young, adult, or a Dragon in her prime, just go straight for whichever one you fancy!"
Seeing David's pupils change from terrified to horrified, Ephelomon, who had become somewhat deranged by this obsession, stared wide-eyed, whispering like a Devil into David's ear, egging him on:
"Don't worry about getting beaten up by a female Dragon; I've made some small changes to the Red Dragon King's Decree I gave you. As long as you combine it with the 'Bloodscale Fury' you learned from me, those female Dragons will become completely immobile under your formidable 'Dragon Might.' You can make them obey your every command..."
"Wait, wait, wait!" David struggled fiercely, trying to break free from the claws of this old Dragon, who was growing increasingly deranged, but he couldn't break free! He quickly exclaimed, "I've only just entered my youth! I haven't even thought about siring the next generation yet, let alone being prepared to be a father!"
David felt like he was going to lose his mind... He could never have imagined it! In his previous life, he was constantly being nagged to get married. Fine, so he'd transmigrated, and now this blasted Dragon ancestor wasn't even nagging him about marriage—he'd skipped straight to pressuring him to breed! It was just too damn ridiculous!
Ephelomon instinctively glared. "What preparations do you need to become a father? Isn't it just a matter of opening your cloaca and letting loose... Uh."
He then suddenly remembered that this Dragon whelp's father was, of all damned things, a Silver Dragon! And that damned sense of responsibility!
Ephelomon finally let go of David, who already seemed to be showing signs of being 'breeding-averse.' He took a deep breath, forcibly suppressing his urge, like an erupting volcano, to see the next generation of his bloodline.
If it were any other Dragon, he might have even resorted to using Drow desire-inducing potions by now, just to get a few clutches of Dragon Eggs produced first. But this one, after all, was Pafila's child... If he really did that, Pafila, from the front lines, would probably flay him, her 'shameless' ancestor, alive on the spot! More importantly, this Heteromorphic Dragon before him had been evaluated by Her Majesty, the Chromatic Dragon Queen herself, as possessing talent no less than Pafila's. What if he pushed the boy too hard, and like Pafila, he suddenly snapped and ascended to godhood! That would be completely game over!
To fulfill the grand mission of revitalizing the Red Dragon bloodline, Ephelomon restored his former dignified and somber demeanor. "Ahem, such matters indeed cannot be forced. However, I have already given you the Red Dragon King's Decree. Proceed according to your own will."
Saying this, Ephelomon could no longer continue to hypnotically pressure David to breed and instead changed the subject. "Alright, matters on the battlefield are numerous and complex, so our meeting today ends here."
"Oh, and with this decree, you can go to the Chromatic Dragon Queen's treasury and exchange it for an item."
"Lastly, don't be too ambitious. Remember, don't pick the best, because there will always be something better. Pick what's most suitable for you."
David finally perked up. "Thank you for the gracious gift, Ancestor!"
"No, this is a gift from the Dragon Queen."
"This, too, is what you rightfully deserve."
"Go now. I must return to the battle."
However, Ephelomon's profound facade didn't even last until David had left. From the battlefield behind him came a furious roar, one David knew all too well:
"Ephelomon! If you continue to bewitch my child, believe it or not, I'll snap off your tail today and plant it as a battle standard on the summit of Warrior's Rest! The Golden Valley entrance—level it for me, now!"
It was his mother, Pafila!
"Coming, coming! Right away!" Ephelomon's silhouette instantly shuddered and became indistinct. Without even a moment to bid David farewell, he vanished on the spot, looking utterly cowed.
David was left speechless. His mother's intimidating aura was as potent as ever.
