Chapter 5: Incomplete being
Chi Phối was transported to the planet ChuDongTu, where similar events continued to unfold. She tirelessly searched for him but found no results. During this journey, she built another ship, sought out the people, and traveled to four specific locations across the planet. After more than seven months since her arrival on this planet, while moving on the Radiant ship, she began to sense the part of the body that had been separated from Nghịch Mệnh.
Chi Phối: The moment has finally come. (She said this and slowly entered a room beneath the ship.)
As she moved, she warned everyone on the ship to remain calm no matter what was about to happen and that no one was allowed to enter the room at this time. Inside a white room, surrounded by many jars containing different mixtures, there were a few unidentified eggs, and finally, a box with intricate patterns placed neatly at the center of the room. Chi Phối approached and took out what was inside the box—a stream of golden liquid flowed from within, accompanied by wisps of white mist that surged out. Inside was... a fragment of the power of the conceptual entity of Life, which had developed into a very strange creature over the years. This creature was bright yellow, with many eyes scattered around its spherical body, each having blue pupils. The creature made no sound; only its eyes were focused intently on the woman right in front of it. Chi Phối avoided its gaze and tucked it away, then moved closer to a shelf on the wall, taking down a jar that emitted weak rays of light. This was a part of Nghịch Mệnh's body. She took both items and slowly made her way to another room.
Entering the new room, it appeared to have nothing but drawings on the four walls—strange characters that could dazzle anyone who stared at them for too long. Chi Phối gradually moved toward the center of the room, waving her hand to create a cradle. She placed the part of Nghịch Mệnh's body inside and then took out the strange creature and... crushed it with her six arms. Thick, dark red liquid oozed from the creature's body, dripping onto the part of the body. Meanwhile, its eyes moved back and forth wildly, as if expressing the silent screams and cries of despair. Only one eye, despite the blood flowing from its socket and the large blood vessels on its cornea, continued to gaze toward her. Chi Phối once again avoided that gaze; a flicker of compassion appeared in her eyes but was fleeting. That cold expression would surely be etched into the minds of anyone who witnessed this scene. After a moment, as the entire creature was absorbed, it began to move, shrinking into a sphere that absorbed all the light around it, plunging the area into darkness. Moments later, the light gradually returned, and the round entity hovered in mid-air with a pair of wings resembling those of an angel, behind it a radiant halo, albeit missing a small section.
Chi Phối: I have come this far, hoping it will succeed.
The door to the room opened, and the woman stepped outside. Outside the room, many people were gathered, appearing somewhat frantic, hurried, and anxious. They wondered what had just happened; everything had suddenly gone pitch black, with not a single ray of light appearing in their vision.
Middle-aged man: My lady, what just happened?
Young woman: The sky suddenly darkened; is there some evil force watching us? I'm so scared!
Young man: My lady, could you tell us what just occurred?
Chi Phối: Everyone, remain calm. I will explain everything at the central square. (She spoke in a commanding voice.)
The people gathered around the room quickly dispersed, making way for their deity. The chatter among them continued throughout the journey to the square, everyone expressing their confusion and anxiety, especially as they recalled the earlier warning from their goddess that no one was allowed to enter the room. This made them worry that a great calamity was about to occur, prompting their goddess to act this way. About ten minutes later, the people surrounded the central square of the Radiant ship, waiting for an explanation from their deity.
Chi Phối: Oh, all my residents! The current situation is worsening; I need everyone's help to restore this world to its original state of balance. You all witnessed what just happened. That is a sign that evil forces have begun to act; they are invading this world. I need everyone to join me in stopping it!
The crowd below murmured, their faces unable to hide the anxiety they felt. Their goddess's words confirmed their fears. Since she had come to this world, everything she said was absolute to them. All her actions aimed to ensure happiness and peace for the people here; their faith in her was unquestionable.
Chi Phối: I must leave to prepare for the impending assault of evil. For this reason, I entrust you with a great mission. This ship was created as a necessity to secure victory in that decisive battle. I need all of you to work together to protect it until the day of the battle arrives. I need everyone's assistance! (She pleaded sincerely, her earnestness touching everyone's hearts.)
The people shouted together against the evil, vowing to protect their homeland. That overwhelming spirit seemed to empower them to do anything they desired.
Chi Phối: Prepare the teleportation array! Tomorrow, I will depart. Those remaining must strive to do their best, no laziness, no cowardice. Your efforts today are the nourishment for tomorrow's life.
After her words, the cheers grew louder than ever, and the people gradually began their preparations.
Chi Phối: Hawk, from now on, you will have the highest authority here. Manage this place well.
Hawk: My lady, I... will obey. (The man spoke with a choked voice, nearly in tears, bowing his head and not daring to look up until she had left.)
The next day, the teleportation array once again illuminated the sky, heading toward the next planet, TanVien.
