Chapter 5: Demon Ring of Flame, part three (57)
…
Albedo was busy. Well, busy would be an understatement. She had the man she love’s child growing in her. That in and of itself, was cause for celebration. But she felt like that was missing the point somewhat.
Everyone was celebrating the news that lord Ainz was going to have an heir in their own special way, but none of them seemed to think about what the child would want once they could start to think on their own.
While she had brought it up with her sister, who had thought that this was rather uncharacteristic of her, she herself had thought that Lord Ainz should decide on how to raise the child. After all, from the details on her Lord’s past she had gotten from him and lady Aeskell, he would probably want to have the child choose their life for themselves.
She was thinking about her old conversations with lady Aeskell from a year ago. The conversations in question were about the world that Lady Aeskell and Lord Ainz originally came from. That was where this line of thought had come from.
But that reminded her of what lady Aeskell had told her about Yggdrasil. That the nine realms were nothing more than artificial worlds that people from the world, Earth, escaped to. It was rather strange at first, but the more she thought about it, that more she realized that it made sense.
The Supreme beings simply vanished into nothing some days. The way they talked to each other, as if she and the other denizens of Nazarick weren’t even there. It made a lot of sense. Lady Aeskell had told her that to a lot of people from earth, Yggdrasil was nothing more than a game world made her rather mad. But to hear that her darling, Lord Ainz, knew that Ygdrasil was its own worlds made her rather ecstatic.
Her thoughts were broken when lady Aeskell opened up a message channel.
“Hey Albedo. I was wondering how you managed to get Ainz to bed you. Ainz, all things considered, has been very chaste up until your date. Since you gave me permission to go out with him, I was wondering what you did to make him take you to bed,” Aeskell asked her.
“I simply got in private with him and confessed my feelings for him. Other than the fact that I he likes my figure, I didn’t really do anything special,” Albedo responded earnestly.
In Albedo’s mind, that was the best way to confront her lord on the idea of making love. She had done it, so why can’t Lady Aeskell? That was the idea in her mind until she heard what was said next.
“Then he might not even humor me when it comes to the bedroom. I did just that during Christmas. He rejected me then, He’ll probably reject me now,” she said dejectedly.
Albedo winced. She liked Lady Aeskell, to hear that her lover rejected the other woman hurt. But then an idea came to her mind. It was kind of a strange idea, but it could work.
“What about a threesome?” Albedo asked the other woman, and she became silent on the other end, “if I ask him to bed one night, maybe pressuring him to humor you after your date, we can tag team him,” she said the line seriously.
“Albedo, you don’t know how suddenly interested in you I am,” the supreme being said out of nowhere.
“Wha!?” Albedo Audibly gasped.
She dropped the sewing kit she had been using to make clothes for her and Lord Ainz’s child back on his bed. Don’t ask what she was doing other than sewing clothes while she was in there. Somewhere in Re-Estize, Ainz sneezed, and a creeping feeling came up his spine.
…
Evil Eye walked in behind Sir Momon and Lady Viridael as they came to a clearing in the buildings. This place was an intersection in the roads throughout this part of the city. In all honesty, it didn’t look that destroyed. The only truly wrecked areas were the doors of all the buildings.
But that just reminded her of what had greeted them as they had come into the ring of fire here. All the residential buildings had been cleared out of the people. The streets were filled with minor demons as well. They had to cut their wat through before enacting the game plan.
The Iron and Copper ranked adventures had been left behind to search for survivors, but so far, they hadn’t found any. Lakyus had to start clearing out even more demons shortly after they had started their plan.
The plan itself was rather simple. Get lady Viridael and Sir Momon close enough that they can fight off the demon causing this whole thing. Apparently, this demon was stronger than Peregrinus, but not as strong as the two Adamantite ranked adventures together.
He also had stolen a group of heteromorphic maids from a person by the name of Ainz Ooal Gown, a man that originally came from Momon’s homeland but traveled to the empire around 38 years ago. They had been stolen from him there, and were under some form of mind control.
As the four of them came up and into the area that they thought that the demon was in, she couldn’t help but notice that a group of maids in Armor were surrounding a man with a red suit in the middle of the intersection.
As soon as the four of them entered the interception, they stopped talking about whatever they were talking about before and turned to look at them. There were six of them. Six maids to be precise. They all wore rather simple, yet strange green and blue masks.
The man in the center of them looked at the four that had just come to him. he himself wore a similar mask, but was wearing a red and black suit that masked aura somewhat. A tail covered in scales spouted from the back of his waist. Then he opened his mouth and spoke.
The words that came from his mouth felt like nails being hammered into Evil Eye’s skull. She nearly crumpled to the ground right then and there. The power that his voice held terrified the small woman. But she held firm.
“My, my, my, if it is not Lady Viridael Mythrilblood. What a surprise to see you here. I was wondering when we would meet again,” he stopped talking as he turned to Sir Momon. “Also, it is rather nice to meet you, Knight Momon. It is also nice to finally meet your squire. I have heard so much about you,” he finished speaking as he bowed to them all.
“Your talk is cheap, Demon!” Shouted Sir Momon.
He thrust the rounded tip of his sword at the demon in question. The man simply raised himself from his position and looked on to the four of them. Then he tilted his head to the side as he looked at the small magic castor.
“I cannot fathom why you have brought a small girl here to our battle, but if that is what you want,” he shrugged his shoulders in a rather nonchalant way. “So, shall we get to fighter each other, or shall we simply stare at each other like fish?”
At that, Viridael and Momon rushed forward into the demon. He backed off and collided with a building, kicking up so much dust that the former member of the fourteen heroes couldn’t see a thing.
“So,” started the tallest maid, “shall we fight as well?”
