Chapter 98. Dwarves: awhraklrha gardhelal? Elves: @$;_)#';$(!
Inside the Crystal Cube world, Elisa watches the screen in front of her disappear while feeling a bit dumbfounded.
Whether it's the unreliable god that suddenly appears to give her an info dump, or the quest that randomly triggers. All of those took a moment for Elisa to process.
"That unreliable god just appears suddenly and throws me some bothersome tasks." While grumbling, Elisa sent her consciousness to a plant nearby Niel, the first living elf she met.
After several years, Niel has grown up and become a head governor-like figure in the city.
Elisa controlled the plant next to Niel to gently poke him.
Once she got his attention, Elisa made the branch of several plants turn into an arrow with her name written below it.
Niel nodded when he saw the arrow, "I'll immediately visit you, elder Elisa."
Through the plant, Elisa saw Niel walk to the city's center.
While waiting for Niel to arrive, she continued watching the elven drama.
Unknowingly, several minutes have passed.
"Elder Elisa." Elisa got the shock of her life when she suddenly heard a voice coming from nearby. It seems Niel has arrived while she is focused on watching the elven drama.
"Whoa, you surprised me." Elisa twisted her branch to smack the multicolored rainbow leaf in front of her. With a smack, the video paused.
Elisa rustled her branches before speaking, "I have a task for you. Send someone to the elf queen and tell her the creator god of this world has sent me a message. He said another race called dwarfs will pay us a visit."
"Creator god? Another race?"
Seeing Niel's confusion, Elisa asked, "Did I never mention it to you? I occasionally came in contact with the creator god of this world. He is pretty unreliable, though. Anyway, just tell the elf queen there'll be some short bearded elf like creatures paying us a visit soon. Let her know they aren't enemies and instead we need to work together."
Niel felt his mind freeze from the sudden info. Elisa waited for a moment until Niel came to his senses. When Niel finished processing the information, she added, "Also, tell the news to the surrounding villages. If they meet some short and stout people, don't fight them. Instead, give them a place to race and feed them some food."
Niel numbly nodded his head. He went to the government building and called several elves to visit the elf queen's city. He also sent several teams of elves to other villages and told them about the visitor from another race.
Elisa, who has sent her consciousness to a nearby plant, nodded her head when she saw Niel's work. 'This is the benefit of having subordinates. I can push all these troublesome matters to others.'
She recalled her consciousness to her main body and twisted her branch to smack the rainbow leaf. With a smack, the elven drama she paused finally continued and Elisa silently watched the drama.

Far in the northern part of the continent. Above the magic mountain, where the capital city is located. The dwarves gathered the team that would visit the elves.
To make sure the team can arrive safely and complete the creator's mission, it consisted of a Level 2 blessed, six Peak Level 1 blessed, and three councilors as representatives of each faction.
Even if they get attacked by magical beasts or giant ants midway through their journey, the team can easily kill or at least flee from the enemy. They even brought several disassembled mini cannons and cannonballs on their horse just in case they met extreme danger.
Under many dwarves' enthusiastic looks, the ten dwarves left the capital city while riding their horse shaped magic beast.
After several weeks, the team is already close to the elf's magic forest.
While they're resting, Eikard, one of the council members who joined the party, grumbled while he was resting inside a tent. "Why am I so unlucky to get chosen. I am currently in the midst of an important experiment. As long as I finish this experiment, I believe the lives of our dwarves will change. The other councilors are truly shortsighted to waste the time of a genius like me!"
One of the nearby dwarves, who is also a council member, frowned when she heard Eikard's endless complaints. "Eikard, you better stop blabbering nonsense before I beat you. It's already tiring enough to travel using a horse for several weeks in this heat. Your endless nonsense is just making everything feel worse."
"That's right! If you continue any further, I'll throw you to the mouth of the next magical beast we meet." Another councillor also joined in while drinking and wiping the sweat from his forehead.
The narrative has been taken without permission. Report any sightings.
While those three are having a fuss, one of the dwarves in charge of investigating the surroundings reported to the Level 2 blessed dwarf.
"Sir Borston, I've seen the forest in front of us. We should be able to arrive inside the forest before evening."
Borston nodded, as the only Level 2 blessed in the team, he is basically their leader. "Then let's continue our journey. We'll look for a place to rest once we enter the forest."
"Urgghh." Although the three councilors grumbled at the same time, they still packed their tent and rode their horses.
Just like what the dwarf had said, they soon entered the forest before evening arrived. After traveling deeper into the forest, they finally found a relatively flat and open space.
The group cleaned the surrounding area, collected some dried wood and started a campfire while erecting their tents.
When Eikard is resting inside his tent, he hears a dwarf outside exclaim in surprise.
He headed outside and saw a dwarf collecting a lot of fruit. "Everyone, look how many foods I found. I've tested them on several animals, and all these fruits are edible. Furthermore, they're incredibly delicious!"
Eikard looked at the fruits that the dwarf brought with some tears flowing from his eyes, 'I can finally eat something different. I've been eating smoked beef for the last few weeks. Just the sight of beef makes me want to vomit.'
Thanks to the fruits that the dwarves brought, the dwarves decided to skip meat for today and mainly eat fruits.
Although he isn't sure what the fruits are called. Even Eikard, who is a picky eater, must acknowledge that the fruit is incredibly delicious.
Some of them are purely sweet, while others are sweet with a slight sour taste. Some have a stronger sweet taste while another has a more subtle sweetness but with a long-lasting aftertaste. The texture of those fruits also ranges from crunchy to soft.
After eating things other than smoked beef, everyone felt their mood lift. When night arrived, they slept while taking turns to guard the camp.
When morning arrived, the dwarf continued deeper into the forest. Occasionally, some dwarf will climb the tree to check for any trace of intelligent creatures.
By the second day inside the forest, everyone saw a pretty wide river that blocked their way.
Eikard looked at the river and suggested, "I think we should just follow this river. After all, most creatures need water to live. If there are other races in the world, as the other councilors said, then they would've made a settlement near a water source. As long as we follow this river, we'll have a better chance of meeting those people from other races."
As the leader, Borston looked at the surrounding dwarves. "If no one else has a better idea, then we'll follow Eikard's suggestion."
Everyone nodded their heads. Although most dwarfs in the team disliked Eikard's constant grumble, they must agree that he often gives good advice.
Following Eikard's suggestion, the team began to travel next to the river. They continued for a few days before the dwarf in charge of the investigation excitedly climbed down from a tree.
"Sir Borston, I've seen a settlement in front of us!"
Everyone quickly moved toward the villages. They gasped in surprise upon seeing that the houses are made of trees that twist and turn into the shape of houses. Instead of a roof, the house has a tree canopy on top of it.
While the dwarves are surprised by the village, the elves look at the short people in front of them with curiosity.
One of them came forward and said to the dwarves, "Hello, are you the one elder Elisa has been expecting?"
Borston and the other dwarves looked at the elves in front of them in confusion.
They can see the elf smile to show his friendliness. But all they can hear is random gibberish.

Inside the Divine Space.
Cedric is busy trying to perfect and adapt the mana sensing method while occasionally checking the elf and dwarf's progress.
When he saw Elisa send the news to the elf queen and even inform the other villages about the dwarves, Cedric nodded in satisfaction.
He also occasionally followed the dwarf party that was going to visit the elf. He is pretty satisfied with the dwarfs' progress, especially when they thought to follow the river to meet other elven settlements. With that, he won't need to waste the energy in his [Divine Intervention: Word] to give them guidance.
After all, unlike the dwarf, Cedric has a top-down point of view and can see the overall situation. He knew that by following the river, the dwarves would be able to reach an elven village.
But when he saw them arriving at the village and having trouble communicating with each other, he slapped his forehead, "Damn it, I forgot about language barriers. I've gotten used to Divine Language and forgot every race in the world used a different language."
"There's the function to engrave new language in a dimensional teleportation circle. But I can't descend to the world to engrave a teleportation just to let the dwarf learn elven language."
"Or should I text the dwarf with [Divine Intervention: Word] and work as their translator? But it's such a waste of energy."
Seeing him in distress, the System suddenly appears and only leaves three words before falling silent.
[Check the store!]
"That's right, I think I've seen an item that can let me give language knowledge to others."
Cedric opened the store and quickly found the item he needed.
[Level 1 Consumable Divine Item, Language Blessing
Cost: 5 GP

Upon usage, the target will instantly learn the language within. It can't be used to input other knowledge unrelated to language. Can only input one language at a time.
Note: The seller isn't responsible for any side effects caused by improper usage.]
"5 GP just to teach a language?!"
'The [Drawing Crayon For Interdimensional Teleportation Circle] costs 10 GP, but it can be used 3 times! Not only does it have the ability to add language, it also can teleport others and give them some immunity to illness from another world!' Even though Cedric endlessly complained, he still bought it.
After thinking about it, Cedric bought four language blessings.
After his purchase, Cedric can feel four octahedron crystals with a grey color appear above his hand.
Looking at another octahedron crystal, Cedric is already too tired to make a fuss about it. He simply assumes that the octahedron shape is a trend in the universe, or the System simply liked octahedron shapes.
Cedric already has a lot of experience using similar items. So, even without the System's guidance, he easily used them.
Just like how he added language to the teleportation circle, he used to summon heroes. He first inputted the elven language complete with the writings and pronunciation inside two of the crystals. Then, he also added the dwarf language inside two other crystals.
With two crystals containing dwarf and two crystal containing elf language, he observed the Crystal Cube world once more.
