Chapter 95. Several World Changing Inventions.
Once he finished checking the world, Cedric retracted his mental power while rubbing his chin, "So, the humans are currently focusing on alchemy, which is basically magical chemistry. Meanwhile, the dwarves are mainly studying engineering. As for the elves, they focus on biology thanks to Elisa and Ghiana's efforts coupled with their race's tendency to awaken as nature element blessed."
"Now I am getting curious what kind of spark will happen once the three races meet." Cedric slightly smiled while looking at the border between the elven forest and the dwarf's cities. "With how things are progressing, I don't think I'll need to wait for long. The two races that's expanding slowly, will soon meet each other."
"Well, I'll just patiently wait for good news." Cedric rested for a few days before he continued to study how to create an intelligent race.
***
Just like that, a few more years pass.
Cedric, who has been busy studying in the Divine Space, finally stopped his research.
While stretching his body on a sofa in the Divine Space, Cedric created several potato chips and sodas as snacks.
Recalling his experiment these last few years, Cedric grinned, "Who knows that I actually found a way for the non blessed to use training methods and raise their level while studying the brain of intelligent creatures in my world."
Initially, he indeed wanted to focus on studying creature brains to create his dragon V2. But midway through his research, Cedric suddenly got an inspiration for creating a way for non blessed to use training methods!
For information, the reason only blessed can use the training method is because only after someone awakens their blessing can they feel the flow of mana inside their body.
Not to say those without blessed power don't have mana. It's just the flow of mana only becomes especially intense while using blessed power. Blessed uses that sudden intense surge as a means to sense the mana in their body. Without being a blessed, normal people won't be able to sense mana through that sudden intense surge.
This is also the reason only those with element type blessing have successfully created their training method. Those blessed with Divine Strength have never succeeded at creating their training method because mana always flows in their body at a constant pace, constantly strengthening their body and amplifying their physical strength. That constant pace makes sensing mana especially difficult.
But while dissecting some brains and possessing some bodies he has copied, Cedric found the part in a creature's brain that's responsible for sensing mana. It's all also thanks to the knowledge he brought from Earth. Otherwise, he won't be able to find that part easily.
Coupled with a small inspiration, Cedric successfully created something he calls the mana sensing method.
Through the mana sensing method uses meditation and visualization to trigger the part responsible for sensing mana, it's now possible for non blessed and those with Divine Strength to sense their mana. Not only that but using the mana sensing method can also help elemental blessed to get started at their training method.
"Although my study on intelligent creature's brains has halted as a result. I must say this knowledge is absolutely worth it. With this, the Crystal Cube world will achieve another explosive growth. As the number of blessed increases, my annual income will also increase, Mwahahaha!" Cedric laughed exaggeratedly.
[Please stop your small villain laugh. You have only found a training method that can be used by non blessed in your world. For information, among other gods, you're the only one who didn't know a method like that. After all, unlike you who won a godhood from the lottery, most gods attain godhood after reaching the top of their world. The sheer knowledge they hold is incomparable to yours.]
"Why are you bursting my excitement." Cedric sighed after reading the System's message. Then, he slumped on the sofa he created.
Probably seeing Cedric feeling down, the System sent another message.
[Alright, alright, the System agreed it's indeed amazing for you to successfully create that mana sensing method. After all, although other gods usually already know about what you've just discovered, they can't just send that information randomly because of the sheer GP cost they need to send that knowledge. That's why, usually their world will only have something like your mana sensing method after it reaches Level 3 or 4.]
"Ohh.." Cedric nodded as he recalled his only advantage, which was a cheaper cost to do an intervention.
To be honest, he still isn't sure how much higher the energy consumption of other gods while they used the Divine Intervention item series. But, from the few times the System mentioned it, Cedric guessed it must've been a dozen if not hundreds of times as expensive as his current cost.
"Anyway, now that the System has reminded me of my only advantage, I should try to use it to its utmost potential," Cedric muttered while creating several papers containing knowledge about mana sensing methods.
He spent a few minutes to streamline it and remove unnecessary words. This way, the cost of transmitting this knowledge will slightly decrease.
Once he is done, Cedric sends his mental power to the Crystal Cube world. "I'll check the situation in the world first. Then, I'll decide whether to share this method with all races or only with certain races as a way to check and balance."

Once his mental power arrived at the Crystal Cube world, Cedric checked the human territory.
There isn't much change compared to before. The kingdoms are still either having small skirmishes at their border, busy exploring the mountain range and sea, or doing trade and politics.
But when he checked Lacius, Cedric got the biggest shock of his divine life. "What the fuck? How come Lacius has reached Upper Level 3? Also, why are there so many magic ores around him?"
Just like the last time Cedric saw him, Lacius still petrified himself in his secret underground room. But now, he is weirdly surrounded by many magic metals.
Cedric focused his sight and saw the mana from those magic ores steadily moving toward Lacius. With the help of those mana, his leveling speed has increased several times.
"What the heck? How did he absorb those ores?" Cedric said exasperatedly.
Although earth element blessed can indeed increase their training speed by training inside a magic ore mine. That's because the mana on a magic ore mine's soil is denser than the mana on normal soil. Those earth elements blessed still absorbed the mana in the soil instead of the mana from the metals.
Although it might seem that earth element blessed training in a magic metal mine will cause the mine to become scraped. That's because once the mana in the soil has been spent, the mine won't be able to continue condensing magic metal. It's definitely not because those blessed swallow the mana in those metals.
Cedric stopped guessing and activated Past Observation to check what had happened to Lacius this past few years.
Tracing back the time, Cedric saw Lacius standing still in a petrified state while several people wearing priest robes periodically placed some magic metals around him.
Soon, Cedric continued to trace back the past and saw a different sight. It's mainly the sight of Lacius doing several experiments.
Because that isn't what he seeks, Cedric continued to trace back the past with his Past Observations before stopping at a certain point.
He saw an old man wearing intricate priestly robes entering Lacius's underground room and kneeling in front of Lacius's petrified self.
The old man kneeled for a few minutes before saying, "Ooo… The great god of alchemy. Your humble servant has arrived to account for the recent happening in the mortal world. We have long awaited your glory …"
Cedric skipped through several minutes of nonsense before he heard the old man mention something important.
"Under your grace, one of your servants has brought glory into your name and discovered a method to increase the earth element training method by gathering mana from magical ores."
When the old priest mentioned this, Lacius's statue cracked and Lacius came out of his petrified state. "Hmm? What did you just report?"
The old man hears Lacius's voice and slowly raises his head. When he saw Lacius, the old man's eyes widened as tears streamed down his eyes. "Ooo lord, you have graced your presence…"
Lacius saw the crying old man start to spout endless nonsense and raise his palm. "High priest, just get to the point."
Cedric felt a bit relieved, it seemed even Lacius already had enough of that old guy's way of speaking.
After being reprimanded by Lacius, the high priest took a deep breath and immediately reported about the method for earth element blessed to absorb mana from magic metal to help with their training.
All along, Lacius only nodded while a contemplative look occasionally appeared on his face. At last, Lacius said, "Bring me a copy of the method. I'll see it myself."
The high priest left the room and soon returned with a small stack of rigid paper with silk-like texture. On it, there are dense words made from golden ink.
Looking at the paper that's probably even softer than silk cloth, even Cedric must acknowledge that the people in his world really know how to be extravagant.
Lacius checked the method to absorb mana from magic metals while contemplating. He occasionally picked a book from his bookshelf or told the high priest to collect criminals with earth element blessing and some magic metals.
Cedric must acknowledge Lacius's talent. Even though he has no morals, his research ability is incredibly high.
After causing two earth element blessed prisoners to die from his experiment, Lacius has improved that method several times over. He also removed some dangerous side effects like mana poisoning from absorbing certain magic metals and found the most suitable metals to be absorbed.
Once he finished studying, Lacius finally petrified himself once more. Before he petrified himself to decrease his lifespan consumption, he commanded the high priest and several high-ranked members of the temple to periodically send magic metal to him.
After watching Lacius turn into stone, Cedric moved his mental power to the north of human territory.
While controlling his mental power to reach the dwarf's territory, Cedric also held a bit of expectation, "From what I estimated, the dwarf should've met with the elves by now. I wonder how that meeting happened."
After moving through half the continent, Cedric's mental power arrived at the border of an elven forest.
From a top-down view, Cedric saw a small dwarf village being built on a mountain close by the forest. But, the dwarves and elves didn't seem to have any contact yet.
Cedric got a bit curious and activated his Past Observation.
After searching for the correct timeline, he finally saw the moment when the dwarf team in charge of exploration arrived at a certain mountain. From that mountain, the elven forest can easily be seen.
A dwarf with metal armor that seemed like the leader of that exploration team spoke first. "From what I can see, the mountain range seems to stop at this mountain."
"From our predecessor's experience, mountainous terrain is more suitable for our settlement. After all, it's harder to create a mine in flat terrains like that one. Furthermore, that kind of flat terrain also has fewer metals to be mined." Another dwarf pointed at the expansive elven forest and shook his head. "So, I agreed with the captain's choice."
The surrounding dwarves nodded in agreement.
Then, Cedric saw those dwarves reporting their findings to the nearest dwarf city.
Around two years later, many dwarfs opened small roads and migrated to the tallest mountain next to the elf's forest.
After building a city on that mountain, they mainly opened roads to other mountain cities or were busy digging mines, and rarely explored the forest.
Even the few times a dwarf enters the forest, they're still quite a distance away from the nearest elven village. Especially because after the whole demon mess, most elven villages have either been destroyed or moved to the cities that are mainly located at the center of the forest.
Even when the elf has started expanding and recreating small villages, most of them are still located around the cities.
Cedric can only accept his fate when he sees such a result. "Perhaps I should do it myself and tell the higher-ups of the dwarves and elves about each other's existence. If this goes on, the dwarves and elves might not have met each other even a hundred years later."
Actually, he prefers to just wait and see things naturally progress. But, Lacius's progress makes him feel the need to push the dwarf and elf.
Cedric is almost 99% certain that Lacius will try to go past the mountain range that separates the continent once he has reached the bottleneck at Peak Level 3.
With how fast Lacius is advancing, it won't take long for that to happen.
