"You want what?!! "

"Wanted to take Grace on a Europe trip."

Robert was looking more and more angry as the clock ticked, then, like a pressure cooker, he released his pressure by smiling at Chris, he wanted to intimidate Chris but failed miserably.

"I am actually really happy you came to me. Go enjoy your life. As adults, both of you know what you should be doing and what should be avoided."

Robert sipped his coffee with a relaxed mood, he was feeling lucky to have Chris in his daughter's life, even if he didn't go for permission when he was dating and he was a generational old.

"We will, sir."

"Sir? "

"Uncle Robert"

"That's better."

Chris smiled, then looked at Grace, who was looking away from him, she was not sure how to calm her heart down, it was beating like a loud drum.

"I... I wanted to ask you a favor, Uncle."

"Oh? Ask away."

"I need a car. I know it might sound very hard on the ears, but I need an expensive car, which are usually not in the market."

Gently placing the coffee mug on the table, Robert nodded his head in understanding, this was not new—even he bought nice cars in his youth.

"Which one? "

"Aston Martin, DB12, 2024 or latest model"

"European? Hmm, let me call someone first."

Gesturing to the nearby maid, Robert got his phone in hand, she had to run upstairs for it, and after placing the phone in his hand, she gasped for breath.

"This is Robert Howard, I wanted to speak with Hiroki Kurasawa."

Crossing his leg with style, Robert talked in a deep tone, for Chris it mostly looked like a flex, but he can't say anything to this man, can he?

"Yes, I need a car. It's called Aston Martin DB 12. Oh? You have one? Yes, the latest model… Um-hum.

Chris was shocked a bit, he was ready to say the model and car name again for Robert, but the man remembered everything he said.

I guess this is the difference between a normal person and a person with hundreds of millions in valuation, Dad would've asked three times at least.

"Alright, I see. I will send them when they return, don't worry."

Ending the call Robert looked at Chris with surprise filled eyes, this boy was ordering three hundred thousand dollar worth of car through him.

"You have saved up this much? "

"Y…Yeah, I have planned five hundred thousand dollars for the car."

"Five? This Japanese supplier says three? Oh! I forgot to consider the add on's, ahahaha, Yes, If the business was not in the recession I would have bought Grace and Faith car's but sigh! "

Chris rolled his eyes, both girls have hundreds of thousands worth of SUVs with drivers, so this man was just showing off and kind of bragging at this point.

Grace didn't talk much, but she was shocked to hear Chris taking such big decisions without discussing them with her. She was feeling left out or a bit insecure at this point, all she had was her father's money, but Chris was extraordinary.

He was earning hundreds of thousands even as a teen, he looks out of this world, any girl would be interested in him, and the biggest challenge? He was hers.

God damn it, I have to change.

Her rigid love was somewhat heavy in a modern and casual world. Chris was nice enough to handle her, but she knew she had to put in effort to keep this man.

"You are sitting in a million-dollar arena, aren't you? "

Chris did not reply but was shocked, his expression didn't go unnoticed by Robert. Robert smiled because his guess was correct.

"H...How? "

"Simple, a man as young as you are ordering half a million worth of cars and finally confident enough to take your girl out of the country, this confidence comes from money."

"Money is everything in this world and also nothing."

Robert smiled mysteriously, then he got a call, so he had to leave the hall room. In Chris's ear there was only one thing that was echoing: 'Money is everything.' The last part his brain has decided to skip for some reason.

"Chris, your business is not small anymore, is it? "

"Babe, trust me where I stand, if this business is an elephant, I am not even an ant."

Grace was shocked, she knew Chris from childhood and also knew he would never lie about this or anything.

Should I lie?

Chris, on the other hand, was planning on lying, he wanted to earn at least three hundred thousand from the Howard mansion. They knew he was earning good money and would believe him as much as he needed currently.

"I…I made a deal this morning, worth $50,000, with Amazon. I will be one of their official suppliers soon."

"Congratulations."

Grace leaped in his arms while congratulating him. Chris felt the soft, boneless body in his hand, he was shocked and very careful with her, but he still felt tingly down there when her soft breast firmly settled into his big palm.

"T...Thank you. I am sorry."

Removing his hands gently from the specific place, Chris, as a gentleman, asked for forgiveness, although he didn't do it on purpose and she came on to him.

"What, sorry? Idiot, be more romantic."

She comfortably sat on his huge thigh, she wanted to run away for doing something so shameless, but she had to do what she had to do.

" Nope, this is not the Grace I fell in love with, sure you can sit in on me all you want, but this is not you, don't change your self, I really love you but if you see your face from my eyes right now, you would see yourself fighting a war with yourself "

With a swift motion he gently placed her just beside him with a smile on his face, in Chris's eye, intimacy should come naturally, not by forcing yourself.

Grace, with a soured face, just latched on to Chris's hand, her nose was almost red. She was not feeling shy anymore, she was feeling comfort, and even when Robert returned, she didn't budge at all.

"Oh wow, I didn't know we had a koala in our house."

Faith entered the hall with her lips turning blue with the cold, but she couldn't help tease her sister, who was latched on to Chris. Grace pretended not to hear her remarks as she enjoyed Chris's warmth.

I chose the right man.

Grace has decided to be more open with her feelings from now on, they both were only starting their lives, so she was not holding herself back any more with past trauma that other people suffered.

We should learn from our parents' mistake. It doesn't mean we should just hide ourselves in the mountain. Oh, my poor Chris, you've suffered.

Faith, seeing her teasing was not working as usual, pouting her lips with a smile, went to the heater to get warm.

"I have to go, Chris. It was a pleasure."

Robert, with a smile, stood up and extended his hand towards Chris. The tone he was talking in felt very formal, but Chris could discern the respect Robert was giving him, it was like Robert was talking with a person with the same status.

"Uncle Robert Please is all mine. Thank you so much."

Nudging the latched Grace several times Chris stood up, shaking his hand Robert left while Grace looked like she was angry.

"I am not talking with you."

"B…But? "

"I don't care."

Chris didn't know how he had offended this beauty, but he had to say sorry, that was the rule apparently. If he doesn't, she will get even more mad, and the vicious cycle will continue.

It took him twenty-five minutes, a promise that he will buy her ice cream and a bouquet of flowers, and then she attached herself onto him once again.

"I wanted to ask, how is it? Being in a relationship and all, sigh! I've seen it all now."

Shaking her head in disappointment, Faith left for upstairs. She was observing the couple. She didn't know her sister could be this bratty, nor could she have guessed a man like Chris could be this patient.

"After we come back, I plan on starting a modeling agency."

Chris suddenly uttered, "Grace, hearing the sudden news, thought for a bit and then nodded her head in understanding. Both of them could do it for a while before hiring anyone, investing in our own selves was way more useful than some other rubbish idea."

"Dad says the economy has transformed to the extreme, even I have researched about it. The Internet has become a sham, there are companies with nothing in their hand that have filed for a billion-dollar evaluation, and people are buying like blind."

"Then there's our company, with solid infrastructure and a foundation still worth $300 million. Dad can get an easy 4 billion valuation, but he says every bubble bursts and every lie has an end."

Hearing her talking nonstop, Chris listened to each and every word. Grace was not a super genius in her studies like Faith, but she has learned from her father, she knows business, and if this was a novel, she would have been the Icy-Queen CEO archetype.

"I also believe in solid foundation building rather than spoofing a company."
