The Master of Beasts

Chapter 119 Demon Clan

"Are you sure he is from the Heavenly Realm?"

"Summon all family members, even the ordinary ones, and move directly to Northern Territory City."

The deeply-rooted nobles unanimously made the same decision: to relocate their entire families to Northern Territory City. This decision shocked the smaller factions. What was happening with these normally arrogant nobles now?

Time slowly passed, and Northern Territory City gradually became bustling.

Chen Jiuge delegated all these troublesome administrative affairs to Anderson and then began to receive the Sect Disciples assigned here. There were more than five hundred people, with cultivators at every level from Golden Core to Returning to Void. It seemed Gu Xu had been quite fair, at least on the surface.

"My fellow Junior Brothers and Junior Sisters, I plan to place you in the newly assembled army of Spiritual Ability Users to take command," Chen Jiuge shared his plan. "Of course, those with skills in Alchemy, Artifact Refining, and Arrays need not join. They will be responsible for crafting military equipment and medical care, as well as maintaining the fortifications built by the Yellow Turban Warriors."

The crowd exchanged glances and said, "We will heed Senior Brother's words."

"Good. Go and find Anderson, the administrative officer. Arrange your specific positions according to your Cultivation. Everyone is here to complete missions or earn resources, so there's no need to undercut each other. We don't know how many from the Demon Clan will come. You all must get along and help each other," Chen Jiuge specially urged.

"Understood."

"Next is dealing with those who are disobedient. Yujing, Ao Li, Silver King, you three go and handle it quickly. Don't kill too many; leave some alive. I need to establish a dare-to-die squad," Chen Jiuge said to the drowsy Spiritual Beasts behind him.

Upon hearing their names, the Three Beasts instantly perked up, Ming Yujing's eyes flashing with a hint of bloodlust. "Can't we kill them all? They are all disobedient."

"Try not to. After all, everything is centered on dealing with the Demon Clan. There is no need to lose our own living forces," Chen Jiuge shook his head slightly.

Ming Yujing looked somewhat disappointed and shook his head.

...

While those smaller factions, harboring naive optimism about their rivals' disappearance, were laughing uproariously, the arrival of the Three Beasts plunged them from heaven into a chasm.

Within ten days, the blood of Spiritual Ability Users soaked half the lands of the Northern Territory. Although not all Spiritual Ability Users were killed, at the very least, everyone who wasn't killed was severely injured, and a great deal of blood was spilled. This brutal style instantly reminded the surviving elders of the great nobles about the historical records of their families.

That day, people from the Heavenly Realm descended. The entire Spirit Void Realm was awash in blood, and countless Evil Gods wailed in outer space. From that point on, Tier One became a legend, and the Tiers themselves represented ultimate power. My descendants must never oppose those from the Heavenly Realm. They are brutal and bloodthirsty. They are like gods walking the Mortal World—unrivaled.

...

The reorganization of personnel was completed, and the army was handed over to their fellow Sect Disciples for training. With the aid allocated from the Sect, it was sufficient to sustain the Cultivation of this army of millions of Spiritual Ability Users. However, there were not many Alchemists among this batch of Disciples, so Yue Meng had to help out, not that it minded.

Artifact Refining was manageable. It was possible to produce Standard Magical Devices for the Spiritual Ability Users within a sixty-year cycle, and Da Bai also took the opportunity to blend in.

Finally, it was Chen Jiuge himself. Having finally arrived in a technological world similar to his previous one, he naturally had to thoroughly revisit it.

...

On the streets of Northern Territory City, Chen Jiuge crouched by the roadside, wearing sunglasses, a cup of milk tea in his right hand and a cigarette in his left. He watched the girls in their ultra-short skirts come and go, reminiscing about the joyful times in college when he and his roommates would watch girls' legs on the streets.

CRACK!

A purple-red Thunderbolt appeared out of nowhere, bringing with it an overwhelming, oppressive aura.

Standing up, Chen Jiuge stared at the crack left by the Thunderbolt that was slow to heal. He tossed away his cigarette, feeling somewhat uneasy. No way, is it descending here?

Then, thunder rumbled from three other directions. Chen Jiuge took off his sunglasses and swore. Has the Demon Clan gone mad? Descending from four directions at once?

He flashed back to his study, only to see Anderson pacing anxiously by the door.

"Come in."

"Duke, it's bad! The disaster you spoke of has arrived! All outposts in the field have been wiped out," Anderson said, trembling. Each outpost was garrisoned by at least a Tier 3 Powerful Warrior. The fact that none had escaped was chilling to contemplate.

"I know. Go inform the Commander of the Spiritual Ability User army: all troops to the Uncollapsing Wall!" Chen Jiuge said calmly.

"Yes, Duke." Influenced by Chen Jiuge's composure, Anderson regained his calm. An army of millions of Spiritual Ability Users was surely invincible.

In this small world, Communication Stones were unusable. After the Demon Clan's descent, electronic communication signals also became extremely poor. Chen Jiuge had just realized he couldn't contact his more distant Sect Disciples. It seems this war won't be so easy.

...

Tens of miles from the Uncollapsing Wall, a Demon Clan member, similar in appearance to a human but five meters tall with red patterns on his face, was gnawing on a bloody thigh.

"Gal, the wall ahead is tough to attack," said another demon of similar stature, worry in his voice.

"Gabriel, there's no need. Didn't the Moluo Royal Family say they'd support us? Let's just wait," Gal mumbled, his mouth full.

"Hmph, the Moluo Royal Family members aren't exactly good people. This small world can only accommodate ten Demon Generals. Are they just going to send us some cannon fodder?" Gabriel scoffed.

Gal swallowed the last of the foot and stood up, his huge body towering. "Don't think too much. Even if the Moluo Royal Family doesn't support us, we still have to fight. At the very least, we must reclaim the honor of the Shajia Royal Family."

The Shajia Royal Family had been disastrously defeated in the major battle several Hui Yuan ago. Were it not for the Myriad Beasts Sect's mercy towards their own Disciples, the Shajia Royal Family might have already vanished.

"With the inheritance of the Eternal Supreme Heavenly Demon God, we are no longer what we once were! This time, we will definitely wipe away our past shame and show those members of the Human Clan our true power!" Gal said, his expression ferocious.

"So, do we just wait like this?"

"That's up to you. Just don't send out our Demon Soldiers. Also, keep those somewhat capable Slave Army units back," Gal said after a moment of thought.

"That's more like it. It would be so boring to just wait. I'll take that cannon fodder and go 'greet' the Myriad Beasts Sect Disciples guarding over there. We can't just show up unannounced, can we?" Gabriel said, his voice dripping with bloodlust.

"Do as you wish. Just don't get yourself killed. After all, finding a suitable partner isn't easy," Gal said with a strange, grating laugh.

"Hahaha! I won't die in a place like this! If I'm to die, it will be on the battlefields of the Heavenly Realm!" Gabriel laughed boisterously, unfurling his hidden purple wings and soaring into the sky.

Watching Gabriel give commands in the sky, Gal just shook his head and paid no further attention.
