The lord of life and death

A peaceful forest under the first light coming from the sun's crystal veins in the ceiling. A group of double-horned deer are quenching their thirst in the spring. With their children frolicking around them. Suddenly the peaceful atmosphere is broken, and a large number of cries of birds fly away above the deer from their west.

The panic cries alerted the herd, leading them to stop drinking and face the direction from where the bird escaped. The herd of deer saw trees start falling one by one from a distance too close to them. Then another tree fell, which blocked them for the reason behind the tree falling. Seeing the reason behind this, the deers all escaped in panic, even if their group contained the first realm monster. 

Because a quasi-second-realm hairy monkey is fighting another monkey with less hair. 

Rain swings his sword striking the red crystal palm of a Red Crystal Monkey, as he lands on a stream. After getting his footing, Rain stepped forward to release an onslaught on the monkey. But each time before his sword strike can land on the monkey's body a red crystal shield the size of a hand's palm emerges blocking his sword from landing on the monkey.

Rain frowns seeing this, he has been fighting with the monkey for 40 minutes and till now the energy of the monkey has not been consumed. The red crystal emerges out of the monkey's body to always block his sword strike. The rain did not stop his attack but pressed further against the monkey.

He wants to kill the monkey for it's heart. The monkey did not attack Rain but Rain attacked the monkey. The heart of the monkey is similar to a life seed that can merge with other living beings but can only be controlled by the power of the soul like the life seed. Rain even borrows the sword from Narisa because even if his realm advanced from the middle of the second realm to the late second realm.

He found another thing, that can be used to advance the realm of an alchemist. He uses a crystal from a second realm white crow after Narisa kills two of them. She used one and Rain used another. Alchemist practice is the practice of strengthening or evolution of the soul and the soul crystal from a second realm white crow which is a third-order magic material used to strengthen the soul.

So, Rain's soul absorbed the energy from the soul crystal which in turn helped him advance to the late second realm. Now he is fighting to kill the monkey which is two small realms above him. He would have been no match against the monkey without the third-order sword, he borrowed from Narisa and the technique he developed from the strength motion.

To use the technique, Rain in the past days after he completed his skin merging, started to merge his muscle cells. First, he started merging the muscle at the spot which generated power for the technique which he named the strength technique.

Rain now has to keep on fighting till the monkey consumes his energy. When the monkey gets tired Rain will kill the monkey. But he has to remain cautious he is now suppressing the monkey without giving it any chance to fight back.

But if it feels its inhabitable death, it can burst in strength for a short period. So, Rain has to maintain a balance so that the monkey does not notice his inhabitable death. Rain stopped his onslaught stepped back and gave some time for the monkey to attack him.

Rain slowly steps back while the monkey attacks him. Rain tried to dodge as much he could because even the sword and strength technique increased his strength but it could not compare with the monkey's strength even if it was in the same realm but the monkey was two small realms higher.

Rain's advantage is only his fighting skill, the soul chip which calculates the attack pattern of the monkey, and his soul strength. He did not use it because the red crystal is a passive defense even if the monkey is unconscious it will block attack upon the monkey. So, Rain can only able to kill when the monkey runs out of energy and is dead tired.

So, Rain now only dodges the monkey's attack so its attack lands on the tree around Rain destroying the tree. The monkey after the fight started destroyed 12 trees with this it is 13 trees. Rain felt as if Narisa guarding the perimeter, so another monster in the forest would not come to join the fight.

Except for the two Golden Eagles, no monster is her opponent. Narisa herself alone is not a match against the two Golden Eagles, So He has to hold one eagle for the time required for her to kill the other eagle. But he is no match against both Golden Eagles. They will clean the floor with him in a second. 

So, Narisa decided to last against one of the Golden Eagles for some time to kill the other one, he had to be able to defend against the attack of the Golden Eagles. Any bird-type monster's advantage is their speed and Golden Eagles are known for their attack and speed. 

Both Golden Eagles are mid-2nd realm monsters, so when roam the forest they come upon a Red Crystal Monkey tribe. At that time they left them alone but for Rain to have a chance to hold against one of the golden eagles, Rain had to absorb the power of the Red Crystal Monkey, to acquire its passive defense.

They have to kill the two Golden eagles because the only place to leave the cavern is guarded by them. Rain stopped his wandering thought as he felt the energy in the body of the monkey was less than 10 Percent. Rain can see the exusation setting in the face of the monkey.

Rain stands and looks at the monkey as it stops attacking looking at Rain taking a deep breath of exhaustion. Rain sees the Monkey's eyes as it change from looking at Rain with anger replaced by fear. Monkey is a quasi-second realm monster, its wisdom is no less than any living being. The monkey has now figured out Rain's plan as it steps back slowly while it stares at Rain.

After gaining some distance from Rain, nearing a tree, it jumps to climb the tree. At the very moment, Rain performs the mind blast technique on the monkey. And the monkey falls on its back on the ground. Rain walks toward the unconscious monkey, using the mind blast technique already dead tired monkey knocks it unconscious. Rain then without any wasting time stamp his sword through the monkey's head.

The monkey dies remaining unconscious, Rain then uses his sword to rip the monkey's chest showing its heart. Rain then removed his clothes covering his chest and the skin in front of his heart parted showing his muscles. Rain then takes out a small knife to cut the muscles above his heart. 

Now, someone can see his heart behind his rips. Rain did not even flinch as cut his muscles, as the pain he was able to handle. In the radiation world when he awakened his memory for the first two weeks he used to melt the flesh of his hands and legs by dipping inside his bathtub full of acid. If the dead battlefield did not descend, he would have still used acid to increase his strength.

Rain then takes out the heart of the monkey which looks and feels like a red crystal crave in the form of a heart. Rain then places the red crystal heart near his heart and using his soul strength, he manipulates the energy of the red crystal heart into his heart.

He closes his eyes voluntarily as he feels pain like his heart is pierced by thousands of needles. He does not know how much pain he will feel when his heart is pierced by thousands of needles but he does not have a better way of the pain that crosses his wide threshold of pain.

The rain opens his eyes when he feels the red crystal heart in his grip disappears. After a few seconds, his pain vanishes and he can feel the change of his heart which in his soul vision is shining in a red hue, beating louder than before. Rain now can control his heartbeat, he can slow and speed up his heartbeat. 

He then sent his vital energy to the cut to speed up the healing and control his skin to again cover his muscles. Rain stands up," Narisa how should I cook the monkey's meat?" and looks up at a tree branch where she is standing staring at Rain.

Before she answers, Rain speaks again," Is it even tasty? how about we eat 'heat deer' meat again." With his soul strength, Rain can sense a heat deer herd 60 meters from his back. After advancing to the late 2nd realm alchemist his soul strength range increased to 75 meters. 

Four hours passed, and Now Rain was lying inside a pod beside Narisa. This is the last rest before they attack the two golden eagles and leave the cavern for the surface world. They even do not where they are located on the surface world. They conclude they must be a place without any civilization, because of the high number of rare plants and animals in the forest.

Rain hears Narisa speaking," Glenn, today I will tell you a new secret." Before going to rest, Narisa shares with Rain information or the history of the world which is not available to 90% of the people of the world. The information or history is only known to those who are themselves powerful or born into powerful families. Like Narisa she is born in the royal family of tree spirit race.

Rain nods all his attention now upon Narisa, as he stops his muscle cells from merging with cells of life seed.

Narisa," Glenn, can you guess who created the potionist inheritance."

Rain's brow furrowed as he started thinking, many powerful holy potionist names flashed in his mind, and then he remembered something, the Goddess of the tree spirit race still depends on faith, if she wanted to escape from the dependence of faith, she would have to form a new law. And no one will share an inheritance to the 6th realm in such confidence because others can steal his fruit of labor, creating the 7th realm of potionist and becoming a God.

Only a God can have such confidence, Rain speaks with a confident tone, "Goddess."

Rain feels Narisa move to face him," How did you know?" with a surprised tone.

Rain," I do not think any other than God would have such confidence spreading their inheritance for the world to practice."

Rain feels Narisa nod in his arm as she is using his right arm as a pillow. So he continued," Is the goddess still now unable to create the seventh realm of potionist."

Narisa," How can you doubt the goddess? The seventh realm was already created when the goddess spread the practice method of potion."

Rain starts thinking about hearing the practice of potionists spread around the world more than 10000 years ago but there is no mention of potionists in the Goddess divine name, "Is it difficult to become a seventh rank potonist."

Narisa nods and speaks, "Yes, To become a God potionist, one has to refine a seventh-rank potonist but the world does not have material for refining a seventh-rank potion."

Rain thought something," Than refiner and chanter practice method is created by the God of Earth and metal and the God of Sea and Darkness respectively."

Narisa," Yes, and like the potionist practice method to advance seventh realm refiner is to create seventh rank equipment."

" And for Chanter to advance to the seventh realm is to bewitch several populations but the sea tribes' whole population meets the requirement and the other Gods will not let the God of Sea and Darkness bewitch their people."
