The lord of life and death

Rain finds two men raise their right-hand palms in their direction and sick green energy starts to form in their palms. Rain does not want to know what will happen after the attack lands on him and his mother.

He locks the two men with his soul power and screams in his mind ' Mind blast.' The attack is the same attack where nonsensical thoughts of large quantity are sent into the minds of the enemy. Rain streamlined the process, now he does not have to gather a large quantity of nonsensical thoughts and launch an attack.

When he locks an enemy with his soul's power and thinks 'mind blast.' The soul chip already stored nonsensical thoughts will sent to his subconscious mind and the mind will launch the attack on a locked target or targets.

Rain, in the second launching the mind blast, shouts to alert his mother," Mother, enemy above." Rain does not wait for his mother's reaction as he faces upwards and hears two groans of pain. Rain observes through his soul power that the two enemies he attacks are holding their heads.

Their pain reaction is much subdued than the slavers' when he attacks with the same technique: "May because the Slaves were ordinary people and the two men from their aura, is a first realm of extraordinary." He does not know what profession they are in.

He notices his mother's hands transformed into leopard hands and claws as she collides with the third man jumping down to attack them after seeing his companions's sneak attacks fail. From the aura of the third man, Rain concludes that man is the second realm of the extraordinary.

Rain controls the life seed to change from an inner armor to a stick in his hand. Rain gets ready to face the two men and when the two men jump from the branches toward him. Rain again attacks them with a mind blast. Which causes them to lose control in the air and fall to the ground on their back. 

Rain attacks the two men as they scream in pain, He kills one man by striking the neck with his stick with full power and breaking his neck. And struck the other man's head with the stick while controlling his strength so the man only be knocked unconscious. With the power of the soul, he confirms that man is unconscious.

Rain turns his attention to the fight between his mother with the third man. His mother cannot fully display her power in a narrow space. She needs to transform her whole body to release her full strength. Only with her hands transformed, she was being suppressed by the third man. 

But after he kills one of his companions and knocks out the other one. The third man becomes flustered and attacks his mother frantically. Rain locks the man with his soul strength and 'mind blast'. He attacked the man three times consecutively three times. The man is a second-realm extraordinary, he was able to maintain his composure with the first two attacks.

The third 'mind blast' broke the man's defense and nonsensical thoughts rushed into the man's mind losing his composure. His mother did not want to miss any chance to swipe the man's neck with her claw and blood spouted from the man's neck. While holding his neck the man fell to the ground.

Rain changes the life seed again into an inner armor. Look at the openings of the alley and notice the alley is blocked with a brown color light shield. But why didn't the guards outside patrolling the street notice the brown color light shield?

Mother coming toward him," Glenn, are you ok?"

Rain," I am ok. How are you?"

Mother," I am fine, I think the three men are followers of the evil god of spores."

Rain again observes the three men lying on the ground two dead and unconscious, he does not find anything to identify them," How can you tell."

He watches his mother after hearing his question sit down and put her hand on the bloodied neck of the man and pull the skin. She stands up pulling the skin. The body only raises a little from the ground and the skin like an elastic does not break. Rain with his eye sees an elastic skin. 

He then tries to find the reason with his soul power and finds that the normal-looking skin is not but a mixture of half-tree-spirit skin cells and cells of fungi. " Why they are attacking us?"

His mother is trying to break the barrier," Do not know, but you have to get out of here before other followers of the evil god of spores come?"

Rain remembers he knocked out one of the men, and he walked toward the man," Mother, let's wake him and ask him."

Before he can wake up the man, he hears his mother," Kill him, no use of waking him up. His mind is influenced by the evil god of spores. He will never reveal anything."

Rain pauses he does not know whether to believe her or not, this is the second time of him coming against the followers of an evil god. " Mother, let's try and see. He cannot cause any harm to us."

Mother walked toward him," Ok."

Rain starts shaking the man awake, the man groans while holding his head where Rain strikes, he opens his eyes and sees Rain's face in front of him, a look of fear appears in his eyes and slightly raises his head and crawls backward hands. He then looks for his companion and finds them lying on the ground surrounded by their blood.

Rain looking at the man," Tell us how to get out of the barrier. I will." Rain thinks nobody will believe he will not kill him," I will give you painless death." 

The Man looking at Rain, smiles. Which made Rain feel something amiss, and the soul strength which was always long on the man noticed that the man's energy was rioting. Rain notices the man is expanding like a balloon. ' Mind blast' Rain commands and takes the man's sword falls to the ground and drives the sword into the man's heart.

The Man starts coughing blood and slowly dies. He hears his mother say, " The first realm of the evil god of spores's followers is the spore seed realm, where they stop feeling pain."

Rain nods and spreads his soul strength but is found similar to before blocked by the wall on both sides by the brown light shield. " Mother let's climb the branches and see if you can escape from above." 

Mother looking up at the branches above coming from the houses on both sides of the alley, " With the light shield it's difficult to climb up and I cannot fully transform in the alley."

Rain noticed light shields on all sides of the alley making it impossible to hold on to it and climb up. He suddenly got an idea. He controls the light shield from the inner armor to a stick in his right hand. He starts feeding it energy and the stick height starts to increase.

He did not stop feeding it energy till it reached a thick branch and he manipulated the above edge of the stick to form a hook on the branch and control it to shorten from below. Which in turn pulls him up. In seconds he near the branches, and he then with his other hand pulled himself on the branch. 

He finds the light shield also covered above his head, which cannot be seen from the ground because of the foliage." Mother the above is also blocked." and looks around to find any opening on the light shield. And notices a window on a house to his left and on the border of the window which is drawn with markings. He quickly walks toward the window and pushes the window which opens showing an empty room.

This time did not shout at his mother but transmitted his thoughts to his mother's mind through the Soul power," Found an opening." and again extended the stick toward the ground, and when his mother held the end of the stick.

He controlled it to shorten it but when his mother's feet left the ground, he fell his mother's weight. Which pulls him down but before falls to the ground, he takes hold of the window's edge and again extends the stick so her feet touch the ground again.

He then sat on the branch and controlled the end of the stick to form a hock on the tree branch, with his hand touching the life seed. He manipulated to pull his mother up and after a moment his mother pulled herself on the branch beside. Which causes a creaking noise on the branch. Rain afraid of the branch breaking quickly enters the room through the window and his mother follows behind him.

After entering the window, he stares at his mother up and down, She looks like her weight is less than him but when he tries to pull her up and creaking of the branches tells a different story.

His mother must read his thought as he stared at her," After breaking through the second realm of changer, my weight doubled."

Rain nods understanding this is inevitable that after advancing to the second realm of changer, they can transform into their chimera body. This means the tree spirit body also contains a hidden chimera body inside itself.

Rain," Let's see if is there any way to go out to the street." As he went forward to open the door, his mother stopped him with her hand on his stomach." I will go ahead, you follow behind me."

Rain nods, and watches her transform into a leopard's hand. And opens the door and he follows his mother to walk out of the room finding no one outside in the corridor. They check all the rooms on the floor and find all rooms empty. 

As they near the stairs going down, they start hearing two people talking and they carefully sit on the ground to the short wall on the side of the stairs from where one can see the floor below. They slowly raise their heads from where they can look below to find one man and one woman guarding a door.

Which they guess is the door to go out of the house. Rain transmits his voice to his mother's mind," I will attack their mind, You kill them." He sees his mother nod agreeing with his plan. Rain locks on the target with his soul space. And started attacking them with mind blasts and did not stop. His mother jumped from the short wall and two men and a woman swiftly killed as they were unable to defend themselves.

Rain climbed down the stairs and his mother was opening the door to the street. As his mother walks out, Rain hears his mother shouting for the guards. Rain walks out of the door and finds a crowd stop looking at them and a team of guards coming toward them.

As the guards reach near them, one at the lead asks," What happened?"

His mother starts explaining what has happened after they enter the alley. The lead guard signaled one of his men to enter the alley, he was able to enter the alley but after a few seconds passed no one came out of the alley. From outside it looks like an empty alley. 

The lead guard tells the crowd to gather to inform other guard teams patrolling the street to come here. And he and his team enter the house. Rain remains quiet during the conversation. And watch the crowd start asking his mother what had happened. 

He hears the conversation of the crowd that the house behind is connected. Connected houses are those houses which at the ground street and the upper street. And they are on the upper street. Rain notice, a second team of guards coming toward them. The city starts shaking a light beam rises from the house behind them and many parts of the city. 

And Rain watch as a sinking feeling in his mind, as a brown light shield covers the entire city. And he hears the sound of fighting coming inside the house. He stares at his mother and crowds eyes which mirror his shock. Everybody knows what is happening.
