The Last King Of Darkness

Chapter 600: Great Victory (Part 2)

Rod valued this ability of his; in this environment, danger often meant clues.

Finding clues was more important than anything else.

Of course, to avoid failure, he woke the Book of the Future from its slumber on the shelf, forcibly commanding it to predict the threat this evil thought would cause in the near future.

If it was irreparable, he would immediately turn hostile—just like the last time he reached out to touch the Divine Sword.

Otherwise, he would let it unfold.

Predicting the near future of an evil thought with not too powerful a strength was not difficult for the Book of the Future.

So, from start to finish, Number 19 was just a fish on the chopping board.

At the beginning, he was extremely patient, until the end, when he lost all opportunities, grew increasingly impatient, his flaws growing more, leading to his eagerness to draw the sword.

At that time, the Book of the Future immediately told Rod that the damage from this destruction was irreversible.

So, Rod immediately acted.

He also considered using this evil thought to lure a greater evil, but Asa said it was nearly impossible.

Ancient Evil Thoughts are not human; they cannot be lured or threatened, and Acker would not be so easily offered, then caught and killed by them.

Of course, Asa emphasized, these are other ignorant and stubborn evil thoughts; the Devourer of Excrement King is different and cannot be generalized.

Letting him eat it is the best solution.

After devouring this evil thought, Asa appeared very satisfied.

His spirit became more stable, and his soul swelled, as he contentedly curled up at the base of the Obelisk, beginning further digestion.

Rod found this ability of the evil thought very useful, hoping Asa could retain and inherit it.

Asa was reluctant because this would affect the purity of his excrement devouring; the Devourer of Excrement King should only have the ability to devour excrement, other abilities would pollute him, making him less pure.

But since it was his master's order, he had to comply.

At this point, Rod only had one thing left to do, to move this Star Marrow Altar back to the Royal City.

Of course, moving it by manpower was impossible.

Even though he had shut down the Spirit Core, and the Star Marrow Altar was no longer fixed in the Divine Tower, such an enormous entity, weighing at least millions of tons, might not be lifted even with Rod's full strength.

In fact, Star Marrow is a very heavy spiritual mineral, Liszt estimated its weight to be at least ten million tons!

The worst part is, its exterior was still sealed by a pyramid.

The pyramid exists to seal and protect it, possessing strong spirit isolating abilities itself. However, despite this, it still attracted some specific monsters, circling outside the Divine Tower.

The pyramid's strength is very high too, even with Rod's full power, it cannot be destroyed.

Liszt whispered, "Lord Zero, we can't transport it back, can we?"

Rod smiled, "Don't worry, I have a way."

He pressed his hands on the ground, spiritually connected to the Dream Realm, and transmitted all the materials previously sent in.

The materials, like a small mountain, were now only half-used.

"Pick some valuable ones to take, the rest can be left behind."

Liszt looked at Rod in confusion, not knowing what he intended to do.

Rod took a deep breath and drew a massive circle at the base of the altar.

All along, Rod had two methods to transport materials in and out of the Dream Realm.

One method was to hold it in his hand and take it into the Dream Realm along with him, which was convenient and quick but unsuitable for holding large items.

The other method was using the Dream Ritual to transmit a whole batch of material into the Dream Realm; this method could transport large items but the Dream Ritual directly locks onto the transmitted material.

Unless all the transmitted material was moved out of the Dream Realm, new material could not be sent in.

Therefore, Rod had to throw out all the materials he carried.

He took a deep breath; this would be the largest item he's ever transmitted.

With a snap, his hands fell to the ground, initiating the Dream Transmission Ceremony.

Gray mist rose from the circle, enveloping the entire altar, Rod's soul immediately felt like it bore a mountain, and he mustered all his Spiritual Energy.

There was a loud boom.

The altar lifted off; the tremendous Spiritual Energy shook this terrifying altar, though it trembled only a little, the mist instantly entered the bottom, wrapping the entire altar.

The next instant, with a loud pop in the air, the entire altar disappeared without a trace.

In the Dream Realm, a gigantic mass fell with a roar, landing on an open field outside.

The ground of the Dream Realm shook slightly but quickly regained calm.

The puppet merely glanced at the altar calmly and went about its own business.

The Book of Knowledge didn't even turn around, focused on guiding the massive Soul Without Spirit to repair the Sun Tower.

Asa continued digesting the evil thought without concern.

The Book of the Future grumbled unhappily and, exhausted, turned over on the shelf, and fell into slumber with the Book of the Past and the Book of the Present in its arms.

And in the Divine Tower.

The three of Liszt were beyond words to describe their inner shock when they realized that this unprecedented quantity of Star Marrow would be sent back to the Royal City, such euphoria, excitement, joy, emotion, and more indescribable emotions erupted together.
