Chapter 538: Breaking Through the Siege of Destiny (Part 2)
"Perhaps." Asa said faintly, "But I don't want to work in vain for the Supreme Will anymore. I've freed myself from its influence. I want to be king, to become the unprecedented King of Devouring Excrement, and with the power of excrement, challenge the corrupt gods!"
"Work? Your wording is strange. Maybe you really were influenced by him, but you must know that relying solely on foul power will not succeed. What lies behind him, is just one of the rescues, such existence, I have not just killed one! You will regret it!"
"Hehehe!"
Asa chuckled coldly:
"You underestimate him, just like the foolish me before."
"Just wait, Amon. I will eventually devour all ancient evil thoughts and achieve the immortal True King!"
Amon didn't reply. Black smoke tore apart in the middle, leaving a part to Asa and disappearing into the void.
Below, Mephit sighed almost inaudibly.
"What a pity, just one more second..."
Boom!
Spiritual energy surged from Olivia, and pure moonlight filled the world, leaving not a trace of pollution or darkness in the entire space.
Even the wounded warriors had the pollution in their wounds cleansed.
The pure power washed over everyone's soul, invigorating them, like feeling a gentle spring breeze.
All the black energy on Olivia's body was eliminated, her armor was tattered, revealing the soft undershirt inside, and the skin beneath several tears had healed, pure white as snow, tender as jade.
This is the body of the Commander, maintaining the peak state regardless of age.
She opened her eyes again, her deep blue gemstone-like eyes shimmering with pure radiance, as moonlight like satin cascaded around her.
At this moment, she resembled a goddess under the moonlight, hazy and breathtaking.
Somehow, Rod felt her aura had changed.
The fluctuation of the soul was softer; the sharp characteristic power from before was nearly imperceptible now.
"Thank you, Rod."
Olivia said softly, her gaze filled with gratitude and joy, as well as a hint of guilt buried deep in her heart.
"And thank you to your little comrade Mephit. If it weren't for you, I would have committed an unforgivable mistake, becoming an indelible shame of Trolian."
Rod smiled, "It's not your fault, Sister Olivia. No one could have expected Amon to exploit the loophole of the human heart, expanding hatred indefinitely to generate resentment towards all of humanity, thereby amplifying the role of the Evil Seed and controlling the soul."
Olivia nodded slightly.
"Yes, he is simply a nightmare for humanity. After returning to the Royal City, we will certainly guard against this. My tragedy must not be repeated."
"As for my secret, I will tell you after returning to the Royal City."
She sighed softly.
"It's a pity he escaped."
Rod laughed, "But he also suffered unexpected severe damage. He originally wanted to manipulate the battle with the Evil Seed but didn't expect things to go beyond his expectations. He had already failed when he was forced to appear on site."
Olivia looked at him with a hint of curiosity, "Why is that phantom of yours so strange?"
Rod coughed, his expression a bit embarrassed.
After tearing off half of Amon's spiritual body, Asa devoured it like a ravenous dog with a pile of dung.
Of course, to others, they only saw the yellow phantom entangled with the black smoke for a while and didn't actually know what happened.
"Hahahahaha!"
Asa's mad laughter never ceased in Rod's mind, and Rod suspected he might almost pass out from laughter.
"I won!"
"I won!"
"I used wisdom to crush Amon, known for his cunning and plots! Who dares say I lack wisdom? That broken book, did you see? Whose fault was the failure back then?"
The Book of the Future completely ignored him.
Of course, it couldn't respond now either; part of the God of Destiny's residual power was related to it, and it was undergoing enhancement.
"Master, you cannot imagine how much we have gained this time!"
"A large amount of foul power, and half of Amon's evil thought. Once I've digested it, I'll tell you about their value."
"Especially Amon's."
Before Rod could respond, Asa had already returned to the Dream Realm, and the remaining tattered phantom dissipated with him.
Rod scratched his head and decided to play dumb in response to Olivia's question:
"It's the Wind's Phantom, one of my Fire Spark abilities. After enhancement, it became very strong, but sometimes it's also a bit weird... um, maybe it mutated."
Olivia smiled faintly, with a wave of her hand, all the moonlight was retracted back into her body.
"This was a calamity, but also a trial."
She said softly.
"Fortunately, I passed. Amon tried to destroy me, but he didn't succeed. Instead, he helped me break through the final barrier. My Source is fusing, and my Moonlight Attribute is leaping up from the Domain of Source, most importantly..."
Olivia turned her gaze warmly to Rod, as well as to Mephit not far away.
"I no longer harbor resentment. It was the world that was at fault, not Mephit, nor Trolian."
"I have been walking on the right path, and I will continue on it. Nothing can shake my faith again."
"I am very thankful to Amon. If I capture him, I will place him in my Pure Radiance for day and night purification."
