Luo Weiya scoffed, "What's there to introduce about them? They're all wrapped up tight."

Rod almost choked on his sputum, glancing at Luo Weiya with a gaze full of respect.

It seems he really believes his viewpoint, rather than just being cynical.

Nonetheless, despite his words, Luo Weiya still opened his mouth to introduce them.

"The one in the green armor at the front, not as tall, handsome, or charismatic as me, you know, is Alan. He has just ignited the twenty-first Fire Spark, breaking through his limits again, creating a record. I truly don't know where his limits are; he seems to be the god of the Starfire Series. I suspect he must be the reincarnation of some powerful ancient soul, unlike me, who relies solely on myself."

"Behind him, the fat woman in the blue Moonlight armor is Olivia. Her Source Law is the Star Moon Blade, but it has some deficiencies, so she can't fully display her combat power outside of the Full Moon period and relies too heavily on her Moonlight Domain. Her actual combat strength is far inferior to mine."

"Next, the one with the large scar is Dawn Light, the Holy Sword Knight Viheler. His Source Law is Bright Power. He is a Holy Sword Knight because he acquired an extremely powerful ancient Demi Divine Artifact, the Dawn Holy Sword. This sword possesses Spirituality, accepting him as its master, allowing him to be classified as Special Level combat strength, though he is actually far inferior to me."

"The last one is the Sun Knight Kai. His characteristic is the extremely rare Power of the Sun, and he alone possesses it throughout the Royal City. His damage to monsters is practically invincible, but unfortunately, he has fallen into severe soul regression. Only his armor and wax statue are present on site, while his actual self is suppressed under the True Silver Ring of the Silver Oath, maintained by the Priest Council."

Rod then noticed that the one wearing bright yellow armor, with a sun pattern on his chest, was actually a wax statue.

No wonder he always looked expressionless and motionless.

"Luo Weiya, is there no way to heal him?"

Luo Weiya's expression turned somber: "No, we have tried everything but cannot stop his soul's regressive change. If the strong Sealing Power of the True Silver Ring weren't there, the darkness within his soul would quickly spread, even though the Royal City assembled the best Priest Council, they can only sustain his life."

Rod's heart stirred, suddenly thinking of the Goddess' Tears, but he cautiously refrained from speaking.

Even the Goddess' Tears aren't a cure-all; maybe he could try treating him when there's a chance later.

If he saved such a powerful person's life, he surely would gain considerable Divinity.

Just then, the King's prayer ended, and the Holy Fire became calm.

Rod couldn't quite explain why, but he felt the Holy Fire had somehow connected to him in a mystical way, with a pleasant resonance sounding in his ears.

He turned to look at the Holy Fire.

The massive flames continued to burn as if nothing had happened.

Rod had to suppress the doubts in his heart, waiting for the next step in the gathering.

"Fire Son Alehon."

The King's solemn voice echoed throughout the Holy Fire Sacrificial Ground.

"Alehon is here."

The elder stepped forward, coming before the King.

The King extended his hand, and a thread of flame flew from the Holy Fire, directly landing on Alehon's forehead, enveloping him in the firelight.

Rod asked softly, "What's happening? Doesn't he have a blessing?"

Luo Weiya answered quietly, "After obtaining the Holy Fire Seed from Starry Sky City, the Holy Fire is nearly reborn. The original Fire Blessing is outdated, too weak in effect. The King is strengthening us with a new Fire Blessing, not just for us, but for all items related to the Holy Fire, they've all got to be updated."

Rod murmured an "oh," suddenly feeling the Holy Fire was truly incredible. It's not only a reliance for human survival but also their source of strength.

No wonder the predecessors of Trolian placed so much importance on the Strength of the Holy Fire; the prosperity of a human nation is closely linked to it.

The new blessing ritual was much simpler than Rod's, probably because it's merely updating a blessing, not bestowing one.

Seven Fire Sons and four Great Knight Captains all took turns receiving blessings, including the wax statue of the Sun Knight.

Luo Weiya told Rod that this was Kai's life container; blessings and healing cast upon the wax statue would reflect back to Kai's body.

After the blessing ceremony was completed, it was the objects' turn.

Rod had seen the Fire Holy Grail brought out once before.

This was the key item used to ignite Soul Fire at the Fire Trial; he clearly remembered he actually hadn't passed the trial, yet was mistakenly considered to have ignited Soul Fire and sneaked into Jinworth Academy.

The blessing of the Fire Holy Grail was carried out with great caution. The King placed his hand on the top of the Grail, Horus led all the Fire Priests and Fire Guardians to kneel and pray, while the Elder Council formed a circle, hands clasped, with the First Elder Amendo placing his hand on the King's back, seemingly transmitting some unseen spiritual power.

Seven fist-thick fire lines flew from the Holy Fire, injected into the Fire Holy Grail.

The color of the Grail changed from dim to bright, eventually igniting.

Luo Weiya explained quietly to Rod, "The Fire Holy Grail holds the power of the Holy Fire, burning the soul in a special way, igniting the initial Soul Fire. This is the root of our power; it's for this reason that those who hold this fire are called Fire Holders."

"It is the most stable, strongest, and most promising to become a True King combat system."
