The Last King Of Darkness

Chapter 509: You Shall Be King (Part 3)

"That's right," Luo Weiya said energetically, "Let's introduce ourselves. As a welcoming ceremony for the newcomer, I'll start..."

He turned his head and looked at Rod with bright eyes.

To be honest, Rod couldn't quite recognize him by the way he was dressed.

During the battle of Starry Sky City, he always ran around wearing only shorts.

"Little Rod, although we know each other, you probably don't know my details. I'm Luo Weiya from Green Grass Town, nicknamed the Fire Mage... If someone tells you anything about an exhibitionist, a destructive maniac, or a savage, don't listen."

"I am the fourth Fire Son, mastering the law of fire spells, with a Spiritual Power Strength of Fourteen Level. Your Red War God made a deep impression on me. I hope you can keep it up and become a super big punching bag that takes hits at the frontline."

He flashed a wild smile.

"That way, I can unleash my destructive power."

A tall woman with long hair falling over her shoulders and a strikingly beautiful face walked over, scornfully saying, "Don't listen to him, he's just an exhibitionist."

Luo Weiya snorted, "You don't understand, the fewer clothes, the higher the attack power. Your destructive power can never match mine, because you wear too many clothes. If you fought monsters as naked as I do, you could definitely be one level stronger than me."

The woman spat, "Get lost, exhibitionist... Little guy, it doesn't matter what you learn, just don't learn his crooked theories, alright?"

Rod dazedly agreed, "Alright."

But the gulp he swallowed clearly revealed his true thoughts; the robe in front of the big sister's chest was almost touching his face, and those long legs were quite a match for Olivia's.

He suddenly felt that if Luo Weiya's theory were true, how great that would be.

The woman glanced at him, her eyes like peach blossoms carrying a certain charm.

"Heh, little rogue... I won't say my name, just call me the Red Queen. I'm the fifth Fire Son, controlling a small part of the law of time and space, with a Spiritual Power Strength of Fourteen Level. I'm used to fighting solo, so you probably won't have a chance to fight alongside me."

She turned and returned to the line, her perfect curve, which the robe couldn't hide, making Rod's eyes a bit dazed.

Damn it, all because of Luo Weiya.

Rod forcibly pulled back his wandering improper thoughts.

A familiar large figure walked up to him.

He was tall and rugged, full of muscle, but surprisingly gentle in expression.

"Little Rod."

He said with a smile, "We finally reached this day. I didn't expect it to be so soon."

"Jelaba from Wine County, the second Fire Son, mastering the law of Stone Power. After receiving the blessing from the Main Star Priest, my Spiritual Power Level has broken through to Fifteenth Level. I eagerly look forward to charging into battle alongside your Red War God."

Rod's heart throbbed, it seemed the Red War God left the deepest impression on these Fire Sons.

"I will," he nodded earnestly, shaking hands with Jelaba, or more accurately, placing his hand in his — Jelaba's hand was larger than Rod's head.

After Jelaba, there was a Fire Son whose appearance was shrouded in dark gauze.

She was petite like Misha, and beneath the faint gauze, one could vaguely see the outline of an absolutely beautiful girl.

Rod's heart skipped; although the gauze provided some cover, he could feel that her beauty was the most stunning Rod had seen to date, besides Mephit.

"You don't need to know my name,"

Her voice was cold and flat, with a somewhat neutral tone.

"They call me the Dark Moon Princess. I am the sixth Fire Son, mastering the law of the Dark Moon attribute, with a Spiritual Power Strength of Fourteen Level."

After speaking, she returned to the line.

Seeing Rod's strange expression, Luo Weiya explained, "Some people's names are forbidden, so we can only use code names."

Rod furrowed his brows, feeling as if it was somewhat akin to a dream realm; were they also some kind of unspeakable taboo?

Jelaba said gravely, "You'll know in the future, to gain strength, we sometimes have to make sacrifices."

Rod's expression turned somewhat grim.

Evidently, this was not a good thing.

The last Fire Son was an elder, and Rod noticed that when he approached, everyone appeared very respectful.

"Hello, little one."

The elder's voice was calm but full of power; he was quite tall, with a face full of wrinkles yet looking very spirited without a hint of frailty.

"I am Alehon from Wood City, the first Fire Son, the only successful dual-characteristic quantifier. My soul controls the law of Burning Fire and White Smoke, with a Spiritual Energy reaching the Fifteenth Level limit."

"But I've reached the end; I can never become a true king. I hope you can break through the limits we haven't reached, becoming the king who can face true darkness."

Rod bowed respectfully, "I will, Lord Alehon."

Alehon nodded slightly and returned to the line.

Luo Weiya whispered, "Old Lei seems to be in good spirits, but his soul has grown weary, so he can't talk much."

Rod gave him a glance, thinking the nickname "Old Lei" was rather strange.

But he wisely said nothing, his gaze moving past the throne to see the four knights on the other side.

Due to the distance, they did not come over.

"Lord Luo Weiya, can you introduce the four Great Knight Captains to me?"
