Chapter 30: Chance Encounter

Time passed slowly, and it had been nearly a month since Diidara became a genin.

In this month, they completed about twenty D-rank missions, such as catching cats, weeding, finding people, and helping to build houses. They had experienced quite a lot.

Moreover, they understood the true meaning of these D-rank missions: to allow these still inexperienced young ninjas to experience various aspects of life, so that these experiences could lay a foundation for their future.

"Alright, you two, stop arguing. Mo Chou, behave yourself. I'm going in to take the mission," the middle-aged uncle reminded them before entering the mission hall.

The six gathered together to chat.

"Mo Chou, what's your guiding teacher's name? He seems to have a strong sense of responsibility!" Akatsuchi, who had good social skills, was the first to break the silence.

"Hmph, that guy is pretty impressive," Mo Chou infrequently praised someone who usually had a sharp tongue. "His name is Iwaishikan, a jōnin skilled in taijutsu and fire release ninjutsu."

"Speaking of which, Diidara, he wanted to be your teacher before!" Huo Guang added. "Although our teacher is strong, he still pales in comparison to the Tsuchikage."

In this way, Diidara felt relieved. If a jōnin had any ill intentions, he would definitely be unable to resist. Since that was the case, the only way forward was to continue getting stronger.
