The great shinobi writer

Since having this idea, my mind has been actively buzzing. Occasionally, amidst the playful attempts of Choji, Shikamaru, and Ino to stop me, I quickly grab a piece of delicious, crispy-on-the-outside and tender-on-the-inside beef from the barbecue to satisfy my taste buds.

Fresh slices of beef are repeatedly grilled into a delightful feast until the table can no longer hold any more barbecue trays. The group, holding their satisfied bellies, let out a contented sigh.

Choji, with his already plump belly, dramatically pats it and says, somewhat unsatisfied, "Ah~, I could still have a few more plates!"

My mouth twitches, feeling my wallet which is already almost empty. Indeed, I had forgotten to consider Choji's appetite earlier. Has his appetite been this strong since childhood?

As the only girl, Ino, with her delicate thoughts, elbows Choji hard and dissatisfiedly says, "Hey, Choji, that's enough! Takumi treated us to yakiniku, which is already great. Do you still need to be picky?"

Looking at the angry Ino, Choji laughs it off and says to me, "Takumi, thank you for treating me to Q barbecue. As a return, next time I'll treat you to chips."

"Chips? The ones that are Choji's favorite, right~" I smirk slyly, saying teasingly.

"Alright, then Choji, treat me to the last chips packet you have with you currently. I want to try them myself !" I joke.

"Ah..." Choji's plump little face stiffens, full of inner conflict. How could he bear to give the last chip to someone else?

Choji's antics cause me, Ino, and Shikamaru to laugh heartily. Having been teased, he scratches his neck in confusion, seemingly at a loss.

After some laughing together, I turns my head and just happens to see the warm orange streetlights. Thinking it's getting late, I stands up and say, "Hold on, I'll go pay the bill."

The one settling my bill is a kind-hearted uncle wearing a white apron. After checking the bill, he holds up four fingers and says, "The total is 45,000 ryo, little Takumi. Giving your uncle 40,000 ryo for this meal is fine."

Aghh! This barbecue meal has consumed four-fifths of my today's earnings. I took out the 40,000 ryo issued by the system by making it look like I took it out of my small wallet, handed it to the boss with a pained expression, and sweetly said, "Thank you, Uncle! I'll come back for more barbecue next time."

"Hai! Hai!" The boss happily accepted my money and placed it on the counter. Then, he took out a 10,000 ryo banknote from behind the counter and handed it to me, saying, "Thank you for your patronage!"

Behind an inconspicuous partition, a pair of sapphire eyes was intently watching Takumi and the boss. Only after Takumi put away his wallet did they turn and leave.

After settling the bill, I returned to the table to join Shikamaru and the others, who were already prepared to leave and were waiting for me to finish paying.

 I walked over and said, "Let's go. We'll first escort the lovely Miss Ino home!"

Under the streetlights, several men were out for a night of fun and were holding bottles of sake, boasting loudly as we passed them on the streets. Looking a little above, Stars dotted the deep black night sky, looking so hauntingly beautiful as we passed under them.

I crossed my arms behind my head and chatted casually with Shikamaru, Ino, and Choji, feeling quite at ease at the moment.

The Yamanaka family was also in the eastern part of the village, so it was quite convenient. As we walked and talked, it took us about half an hour to see off Ino at her doorstep.

Ino suddenly took a big step forward, then turned around, stuck out her tongue playfully at me and the others, and said, "That's enough. I'm already at my doorstep."

I let go of my hands from behind my head, smiled at Ino, and said. "Get some rest!"

Ino bowed to me before standing up and saying happily. "Hai! Thank you, Takumi, for today's treat!"

"Ah, you should thank Takumi!" Choji patted his forehead and said to Shikamaru.

"Takumi, thank you." Shikamaru also thanked me.

I quickly waved my hand, my tone earnest. "Come on, we're friends! There's no need to be so formal."

After all, if in the future something goes wrong, I can comfortably hug their thighs and live smooth and comfortable life.

 Turning to the Ino, I added, "Alright, the three of us should head home too. Ino, see you later!"

The three of us said our goodbyes to Ino and were about to leave. Ino, seeing that we were about to disappear into the night, suddenly remembered something and shouted loudly, "Takumi, wait a moment!"

The voice from behind was full of strength. So I stopped, turned around, and looked at Ino standing under the streetlight, asking in confusion, "What is it?"

"Come here. I have something to tell you!" Ino raised her chin and playfully ordered.

I helplessly shrugged my shoulders at Shikamaru and Choji, then quickly walked over to Ino's side.

Walking up to her I couldn't help but tease, "My young lady, is there anything else you command?"

"Hmph!" Ino, being called "young lady," raised her chin even more, puffing out her cutting board even more, blinking her sapphire eyes, and casually mentioning, "Tomorrow, there's a school festival at the Shinobi Academy. They're still recruiting staff today. If you want to earn some extra money, you can sign up at Iruka-sensei's house."

It turned out she was worried that I might run out of money. I was secretly pleased, 'looks like we are finally warming up to each other.' I thought

Looking at the slightly mischievous Ino, with friendliness and a bit of teasing, I said"Thank you, kind Miss Ino. Hopefully, I can find a job tomorrow, or else I'll have to come to your house to freeload."

"Flattery will get you nowhere, you little pauper! I'm genuinely concerned about your empty stomach. If you have nothing to eat for your next meal, don't eat instant noodles. My mother likes you so that you can come to our flower shop. She makes delicious boxed lunches, and we can eat together after school."

Ino poking my shoulder with her index finger and scolding me.

"I know, but I'll find work!" I said knowing I can't freeload too much or it will change our friendship to something else.

 I reached up and roughly ruffled Ino's hair, messing up her smooth blonde hair, then turned around and ran saying "As punishment for calling me a little pauper."

"Ahh, my hair! Takumi, wait for me!"

Ino's shrill voice could still be heard behind them, but me , Shikamaru, and Choji had already fled in perfect synchronization, leaving Ino, wearing her purple mini-dress, to rage at the doorway.

A smile tugged at the corners of my mouth, and my gaze softened in the darkness. Ino was indeed a kind-hearted girl.

'Heh...'

 who am I kidding, she has a Pompous type attitude to her, even though she is quite caring and supportive, she is too overbearing.' I thought Still looking towards the sky. But….. She is not a bad person to have as a friend.

At the intersection ahead, since I was still thinking about my "great endeavor," I stopped and said my goodbyes to Shikamaru and Choji. After they expressed their gratitude again, we three went our separate ways.

Walking alone on the bustling commercial street, upon seeing a suitable shop, I entered, intending to use the 10,000 ryo left from the rewards, and the remaining 10,000 ryo I brought with me to buy some gifts for gathering informations.

 Since I had decided to write novels, draw comics, make movies, and create games, the first thing I needed to do was to understand the market situation and then proceed with preparations.

However, given the current situation , there is no way of making comics, movies, and games. They are going to be too difficult, so I decided to start with writing novels.
