The First Mythical Dragon: Harem System

Chapter 231: My Turn

"If I'm going to die, you're coming with me." Ava smirked as the arrows screamed down toward the demon at the speed of light.

Simultaneously, the acidic goo shot from Clint's mouth hurtled toward her with lethal speed.

"Shoot. You crazy bitch!" Clint roared, twisting and darting sideways, his claws tearing through the ground as he threw himself away.

The trajectory of his acidic goo altered, missing Ava by inches.

Seizing the opportunity, Ava slammed her hands into the cracked earth.

Lightning crackled violently around her palms, sending sparks into the air as she skidded away from the spot just in time.

The goo hit the ground where she had been, burning a deep, wide crater with a hissing screech as smoke and steam rose.

Clint managed to avoid some of the lightning arrows, but the ones he couldn't evade struck his wing. He curled it forward instinctively, letting it absorb the impact.

The thunderous blasts tore through the air, rattling his bones. Dust and stone shards shot up as the ground beneath him cracked, his teeth grinding tightly from the force.

'Ho…how is this possible? Her ability has become stronger than ever.

She couldn't create lightning arrows like this before. Not even one, let alone a hundred,' Clint grunted inwardly, barely keeping his balance as the attacks finally dissipated.

'My theory was right. The abilities came from dragons. As a human, she couldn't fully harness them.

Now, as a dragon hybrid, she's tapping into their true potential. Well done, Max. You just gained a powerful ally.

And she's beautiful too. It would be nice if she joined my harem,' Max thought, grinning as he watched Ava rise, panting and huffing, sparks of electricity dancing along her wings.

"Kuk!" Clint coughed, blood speckling his lips, as a loud crack echoed through the air.

He snapped his head up just in time to see Ava appear before him.

Her leg shot forward in a powerful swing, encased in crackling blue lightning. The sound of the crack made the air itself vibrate.

Clint barely lifted his hands to block the attack.

The kick slammed into his forearms with thunderous force, sending him skidding several metres backward. Dust exploded around him, stones shattering under the impact.

Ava clapped her hands sharply. Dozens of lightning arrows shot from her fingers, streaking toward the stunned demon. Sparks flew and the air hummed with raw energy as they tore through space.

'And she can summon them this quickly? Noice!' Max grinned, eyes wide with excitement as the lightning bolts neared Clint.

Gritting his teeth, Clint twisted his singular wing around his arm. The bony appendage coiled like natural armor, thrusting forward just in time.

The lightning arrows struck, detonating with lethal bangs that threw him skidding again, legs carving deep trenches in the cracked earth.

Steadying himself, Clint glared forward, his grin malicious. The attack had not injured him, but it had left scars of humiliation in the dirt.

"You think you are the only one with special abilities?! Screw you, you annoying bitch!" Clint roared.

He rocketed forward, chunks of stone kicking up behind him as he carved through the battlefield like a living missile.

"Come say that to my face again!" Ava shot back, flapping her wings furiously as she lunged forward.

Bang, Bang, Bang! Boom, Boom, Boom!

The ground trembled violently, the air quaked, and dust spiraled into the sky. The two combatants moved like blurs, striking, dodging, and slamming into each other at a pace impossible for the others to follow. Only Max and Jim, with perfect vantage, could track the chaos.

'Damn it,' Jim muttered, clenching his fists tightly. 'I hate to admit it, but Ava has grown stronger than even me.

And to think I was boxing her around an hour ago.' He exhaled sharply, his eyes tracking the furious display of lightning and claws, the dust and sparks filling the air like a storm of pure fury.

The screams of power and rage echoed through the streets. Every collision shook the earth, leaving craters and fissures in their wake.

Lightning danced across Ava's wings, her scales glinting as each strike connected with explosive force. Meanwhile, Clint's acidic attacks hissed against the air and the ground, leaving sizzling scars where they landed.

The intensity of their battle created a symphony of destruction: the thunderous bangs of punches and kicks, the sharp crackle of lightning, the explosive impact of the ground beneath them, and the faint metallic tang of blood and ozone mixing in the charged air.

Each movement was precise, brutal, and lightning fast.

Max watched, still grinning, feeling the thrill of the fight. 'She's a monster now, a true dragon. And I get to watch her dominate. Beautiful and powerful. This is going to be fun.'

Jim's heart pounded as he stayed crouched behind Ava's establishment, gripping the ground.

The smell of scorched earth mixed with ozone and blood filled his nostrils, making his head spin. Every strike, every crash, made the hairs on his neck stand on end.

The fight raged on, a blur of lightning and claws, power and fury, each second more intense than the last, as the dragon hybrid and the demon tore through the battlefield in a storm of destruction.

Blow for blow, kick for kick, the exchange had become relentless.

The duo moved across the area like living hurricanes, crashing into the ground, leaving crater after crater in their wake.

Sparks flew in every direction, crackling and sizzling through the air as the ground trembled beneath them.

The humans below could only gape in awe, their hearts pounding as they watched the storm of power unfold above.

They couldn't focus on anything but flashes of light and the raw force of the blows. Each strike sent the other flying, only for them to dash forward again in an endless cycle of destruction.

They didn't stay in one place for more than a heartbeat. Ava and Clint darted around like blurs, their movements so fast that dust and debris followed them in trails, blood splattering the cracked earth with every strike.

"Argh!" Ava thundered, swinging her fist from the side, aiming for the demon's neck.

Blood trickled from the corner of her mouth, glinting in the chaotic light of crackling sparks.

In a flash, Clint ducked and countered, hammering his leg into her abdomen with immense force. The impact sent her blasting backward with a loud, sickening crack.

She crashed into the ground, tumbling and bouncing for metres before her claws dug into the cracked earth, bringing her to a grinding halt. Blood spilled from her mouth, staining the jagged rocks beneath her.

Before she could even rise, Clint was already there.

"Enough of all this!" he roared, lunging down with a terrifying speed. His fist smashed into her head, driving her face into the ground with thunderous force.

A wide crater split open in an instant, dust and debris exploding skyward.

Clint leaped back cautiously, expecting a counterattack, but when the dust settled, Ava lay unmoving.

Blood trickled from her head, and patches of her scales had already shattered, revealing raw skin beneath.

'Huh? I know she's not dead. Did she fall unconscious?' Clint thought, a smirk creeping across his face.

"No way! Leader Ava lost?!" one of the Pincer gang members shouted, eyes wide with disbelief.

"No, no, no! You can't die now," another wailed, collapsing to his knees, tears streaming like a river.

"What about the promises you made to us? The promise of revenge? I lost my cousin to that demon, and you lost your brother! Ava, come on, you can't die now!" another cried, fury and grief mingling in his voice.

'Since she's unconscious,' Clint thought, curling his wing around his hand to form a hardened gauntlet with a jagged, pointed tip. He pressed his feet into the cracked earth, sending fissures radiating outward.

"Then it's best I end this now!" he thundered, blasting forward with terrifying speed.

Bang, Bang!

The deafening sounds echoed across the battlefield as Clint appeared in front of the unmoving Ava in an instant.

Hearts collectively pounded as his fist descended, aiming to obliterate her head entirely.

"Enough of all this," a calm, cold voice cut through the chaos.

Clint froze mid-strike, not from fear, but because he couldn't move an inch. Looking up, he locked eyes with a pair of yellow, glowing eyes burning with intensity.

"Now, it's my turn," the figure muttered.

The next instant, a powerful punch slammed into Clint.

He was lifted off his feet and blasted several metres away, the force ripping through the ground beneath him as a deep shockwave followed.
