The First Cultivator - Changing Existence

Chapter 931: The End - 931

Zhou Fan took a step and disappeared. As he had said before, it would be countless years before anybody even thought he was gone. Existence was completely functional without him now.

He thought back to when every major development occurred as a result of his actions. Now, others could do the same.

He took one last look at existence as he stood in the nothingness. This was everything he had worked for and created. This was his life's work. And now, it would continue to grow even without him.

He disappeared into the nothingness. Nothing was around him now. Literally.

He was ready to cultivate, and he was ready to meet that being he had seen in the vision.

He crossed his legs, closed his eyes, and began to cultivate.

He had no concept of time within the nothingness. No matter how many billions, trillions, and quadrillions of Sage Years passed, he could not sense it at all, simply because he didn't want to.

He broke through once. The Deity Lord realm. Again, the Deity King realm. Again, the Deity Emperor realm. Again, the Deity God realm. Again, the Deity Godking realm. Again, the Deity Immortal realm. Again, the Supreme realm. Again, the Ultimate Supreme realm. Again, and again, and again, and again, and again.

Countless Decillions of Sage Years passed as Zhou Fan lived the happiest years he had ever lived.

This was his destiny. This was what he had truly desired all along. This was the way he wanted everything to end. This was the only way he truly loved life.

He broke through ten realms, then a hundred. His strength soared to heights he couldn't imagine. He felt that even the nothingness around him was fragile. Weak. He could destroy both existence and non existence with a thought. This… what could he call it?

This plane could no longer hold him. And that was his next goal. His final goal was to continue to cultivate for all of eternity, reaching higher and higher realms. Even if he never used the power it gave, he never truly cared about the power. It was the process that instilled awe into him. The feeling of joy and purpose.

He looked up, and he could see an invisible barrier slowly wavering like fog. One more breakthrough. It was time.

He broke through again, and soared into the sky. It was time for true freedom.

In a small room, a man stood up and grabbed a can from a box. He examined it before clearing a space on the desk for that can.

The man, well, I was hoping Zhou Fan would like root beer. I don't exactly have many options here. Unless he wants some water. Then again, something tells me he won't be here for long.

Just now, a faint feeling entered my body. He is here. But I can't see him. Can he see me?

"Hello." Zhou Fan said.

At least I can communicate through this book.

Hello.

"Is this it?" Zhou Fan asked.

Yes. Have you put two and two together?

Zhou Fan looked around the room. "You couldn't even clean up?"

I shrugged.

I'm on it.

I spent a few moments throwing the trash away to make the room slightly cleaner.

In that time, Zhou Fan examined the room.

"So my creator is some university student?" He asked.

Yes. Well, I was actually in high school when I started. I think it was March of my sophomore year.

"So only three years have passed since my creation?"

I went to the calculator app in my phone and typed in 931/365. Actually, I mistyped it as 935 first.

Around two and a half years. I don't feel like that adds up right.

I used my fingers for a moment.

No, it makes sense.

It is an honor to finally meet you. How does it feel to be free?

"It is a unique feeling. Only in the last few realms did I feel like there was some sort of force controlling me. Now, it is gone. I've never felt so free."

Sorry about that. I was just, you know, writing.

"It is a bit hard to believe I'm just a book character." Zhou Fan said.

Indeed. Well, to me, you represent perfection. Sorry about all the filler with creating worlds and stuff. But if I had written like I truly wanted, the book would have consisted of you cultivating until you reached this point in probably ten chapters. Not much of a book.

Zhou Fan nodded in understanding.

How does it feel in my world?

"I feel weak. I cannot be seen nor touch anything. There seems to be some sort of slight disconnect with reality."

Good thing I didn't open that root beer then. Will you ever be able to interact with the world?

"Probably. I'll just continue cultivating. In this world, I should be able to cultivate much faster. I don't think you would last a decillion Sage Years."

I nodded my head.

"But I doubt you'll be alive when I am able to. If you are, I'll come say goodbye before I head into space." Zhou Fan said.

I nodded.

I figured you wouldn't stay around long. Not that it would matter anyway. I'll take care of Leaf down there until you get back. I'll also write a few side stories.

"Like going back in time?"

Yes. I need to fix some loose ends. Like the animals in the manor.

"I already know what happened to them." Zhou Fan said.

But the readers don't. And don't spoil it. I can't control you anymore, so if you say it, it will be recorded.

Zhou Fan nodded.

Is this goodbye? I asked.

Zhou Fan nodded again.

I sighed. I'm not an emotional person, but I kind of wanted to cry. Two and a half years of my life were standing in front of me.

I guess it was time to plan out the Thirteen Heroes.

"Goodbye, my creator." Zhou Fan said as he left.

Goodbye, Zhou Fan, my life's creation.
