The Exorcism Began in America.

Chapter 115: Return to New York

The next morning arrived in the blink of an eye.

Chu Feng, having left behind a batch of various supplies, was now sitting in Jessica's car. The two were driving toward the airport, as it was the day Chu Feng was to return to New York.

"Jessica, tell everyone to be very careful with the exorcisms! They absolutely must not act rashly."

Chu Feng's expression was serious. After all, these were people he had cultivated with his own hard-earned money. If they were to fall so carelessly on the path of exorcism, he would truly suffer a great loss.

"Don't worry, Mr. Chu Feng, I'll warn them," Jessica said with a relaxed expression. With the batch of supplies left by Chu Feng, she was certain she could quickly expand the number of exorcists under her command.

"Good to hear. And don't let your own strength falter either. It wouldn't look good if you were surpassed by your subordinates!"

After sensing the fluctuations in Jessica's Spiritual Power, Chu Feng shook his head. Her progress is still a bit slow, he thought.

"Mhm, I'll work hard!" Jessica readily agreed, although she didn't know Chu Feng's intentions.

After a while, their car finally stopped outside the airport. Chu Feng smiled and waved at Jessica before heading straight into the terminal.

About an hour later, a plane bound for New York smoothly soared into the sky.

In a mysterious underground base of the Holy Advent Society in Oregon State, Priest Sirio, dressed in a blood-red suit, blinked his deep blue eyes, smiling as he looked at the young girl tightly bound to a cross before him.

"Miss Rachel, bearer of the Stigma, it is an honor to meet you here."

"Who are you people? Where is my father?"

The girl, about sixteen or seventeen, wore gold-rimmed glasses, was not very tall, and her round face looked somewhat cute.

At that moment, she was glaring at the man before her with anger, not a trace of fear in her determined eyes.

Unfortunately, the Cult Priest before her merely smirked with amusement, apparently having no intention of answering her question.

Instead, he extended a slender finger, forcefully prying open the girl's tightly clenched palm, then looked at the circular wound there and nodded with satisfaction.

Then, he stretched out another finger, tentatively reaching towards the circular wound.

"AAAH!" The girl, unable to struggle free, cried out in pain.

At the same time, a HISS sounded from her palm as a wisp of white smoke arose.

The moment his finger touched the circular wound, a milky Holy Light instantly flared up, incinerating his finger to ash in the blink of an eye.

Raising his hand, the Cult Priest examined the ash that had been his finger. His handsome face showed not a hint of pain. Instead, he burst into a sudden, loud laugh.

"HAHAHA!"

"I've finally... got you!"

Where his index finger had been incinerated, flesh and blood bubbled and grew. Within seconds, a perfect, slender finger regenerated.

With a snap of his fingers, the alluring figure of a blonde secretary approached from behind him.

"Priest Sirio..."

"Make sure she's well guarded. Next, we'll see which of the revered ones wishes to descend through her womb!"

As he spoke, Sirio's hand suddenly pinched the girl's tender cheek. "And... be careful with her Spiritual Power! Don't let her sneak away with an attack. Wouldn't that be right, my little Exorcist Miss...?"

Observing the girl's suddenly pale face, Sirio laughed heartily as he released his hand.

The morning after returning to New York, Chu Feng, with no pressing matters at hand, took his time to thoroughly clean his Jeep Wrangler.

Having sat in the garage and not been washed frequently, it was scarcely recognizable from its original state, Chu Feng thought.

The leisurely morning hours, like sand slipping through fingers, imperceptibly gave way to the afternoon.

After breakfast, Chu Feng drove his freshly cleaned Jeep Wrangler, speeding toward his office.

As soon as he entered the office's main gate, a young girl of about eighteen or nineteen shouted out in surprise, "Mr. Chu Feng!"

"Where? Where is Mr. Chu Feng?"

"Mr. Chu Feng is back?"

"Really? Don't you lie to me!"

The girl's shout instantly attracted the attention of everyone on the first floor of the office.

Seeing the two stars on the nameplate on the girl's chest, Chu Feng smiled.

"Hello, I am Chu Feng!"

"Mr. Chu Feng, my name is Debbie, a two-star Exorcist from the Exorcism Department, I..." The excited girl's face flushed red, and she was even somewhat incoherent.

By now, the others on the first floor had fully confirmed that the figure at the entrance was indeed their long-missed boss. Excited, they started crowding towards the doorway.

Even the clients in the reception room, upon hearing of Chu Feng's return, grew eager. That damned Bizarre! If Mr. Chu Feng handles it, it'll surely be resolved without a hitch! they thought.

Just as the first floor was about to descend into chaos, a female voice filled with anger suddenly rang out from behind everyone.

"What are you all doing? Get back to your workstations now!"

The noisy entrance instantly fell silent.

"Manager Taran..."

"Sister Taran..."

"Manager."

Upon hearing this familiar voice, people sheepishly turned around to greet her, then hurriedly scattered.

After everyone had dispersed, Taran, dressed in a teal blue skirt suit, lightly tossed her chestnut short hair and slowly approached Chu Feng.

"Welcome home. You've worked hard!"

「...」

On the second floor, in Chu Feng's temporary office, Lin Qiu slapped a file onto the desk in front of him, while Taran sat on the couch behind her, smiling at the scene.

"My dear boss, you're finally back!"

"Take a look at this; these are your tasks ahead," Lin Qiu said, her pretty face earnest.

"First, the batch of supplies you left for the Exorcism Department before you departed is almost depleted and urgently needs replenishing.

"Second, the Exorcism Department still has several tasks they can't handle right now; only you can tackle them!

"As for the third point..." At this, Lin Qiu's face broke into a strange smile.

"The third point is, the office needs you to cooperate in completing some promotional tasks—to take a few sets of photos."

Lin Qiu's expression left Chu Feng somewhat puzzled. What could be the issue with just taking some promotional photos? he wondered.

Flipping through the file, Chu Feng nodded and said, "Okay, let's complete the first and third items first. I'll head to the underground supply warehouse now!"

With that, Chu Feng promptly headed downstairs to the Exorcism Department's supply warehouse.

Behind him, the two women exchanged a glance and then burst into laughter together.
