The Evil Emperor’s Favored Concubine: Divine Doctor Ninth Miss

Chapter 9 is none of my business

Jun Jiu’s eyes widened as she spotted a small white cat with a snow-white body and a pink nose. It affectionately rubbed against her legs and nuzzled her. Its long, fluffy tail swept across the back of her hand.

“Furry… pussy!” Jun Jiu exclaimed in surprise as she picked up the little white cat. She asked, “Where did this cat come from?”

“Meow~ I am the owner, Xiao Wu! Meow!” replied the cat, who seemed to be none other than Xiao Wu.

Jun Jiu glanced at the cat, then at her wrist, where the bracelet was still present.

Xiao Wu, now in feline form, meowed again, “Meow~ Master, look at me. I’ve turned into a little white cat. I thought you’d like it.”

Jun Jiu raised an eyebrow as she heard human words coming from the little white cat’s mouth. She asked, “Is that really you, Xiao Wu? Are you some kind of shape-shifting creature? Can you transform?”

“I’m not the master…” The cat corrected itself. “I mean, meow! Xiao Wu is just a cat now. Does the master like it?”

Xiao Wu had been with Jun Jiu for ten years, and he knew better than anyone that she had a fondness for furry creatures, particularly cats. He had often seen Jun Jiu cuddling with cats, which made him envious. So, perhaps, becoming a cat was his way of winning her favor.

Jun Jiu began to pet the cat gently, and as she heard its contented purring, her eyes narrowed.

However, she still had a question: “Xiao Wu, are you some sort of supernatural being?”

Xiao Wu shook his head and responded, “It was your aura that entered my body and granted me this ability to change form. It allowed me to become a cat. There’s no aura in that other world, so I could only communicate with you through the bracelet.”

“Aura?” Jun Jiu understood that it was a form of energy in this world, necessary for practicing and becoming a spiritual master.

Wasn’t the original owner considered a waste because he couldn’t absorb this spiritual energy into his body?

Curious, Jun Jiu reached out to feel the cat’s pulse, realizing something. “The original owner couldn’t practice because her meridians were blocked, preventing her from absorbing spiritual energy. But my Bing Xin Jue, the method of my master, can open those meridians. That’s why spiritual energy can enter her body.”

“That’s great! With this, you can practice and become a spiritual master!” Xiao Wu exclaimed.

“Become a spiritual master?” Jun Jiu’s eyes gleamed, and a confident and daring smile graced her lips. Those people had mocked the original owner because she couldn’t cultivate. She could temporarily let go of her grievances on behalf of the former owner. However, if they dared to trouble her now, they would face the wrath of Jun Jiu, the Holy Hand.

“Master, start practicing immediately! Let’s see them regret their words,” encouraged Xiao Wu.

“It would be good for you to become a spiritual master too, right?” Jun Jiu asked, running her fingers through the cat’s soft fur.

“Meow. If the master becomes a spiritual master, then Xiao Wu can remain in this adorable form forever,” replied the cat.

“Alright then.”

However, before she could commence her training, this body required some healing, including washing the tendons and cutting the marrow, as well as medicinal baths. Otherwise, even if spiritual energy entered her body, it wouldn’t progress very far.

Jun Jiu began to drift into sleep while contemplating her plans.

When she woke up, she opened her eyes to find Mo Wuyue’s enchanting face looming over her. It was a face so flawless and stunning that it could only be described as otherworldly.

Jun Jiu calmly inquired, “Why are you in my room?”

“Xiao Jiuer, someone is here,” Mo Wuyue responded, pointing towards the door.

Jun Jiu immediately got up. She was still dressed in her clothes from the previous night. Pushing the door open and stepping outside, she saw a familiar face, and her eyes flickered with a hint of killing intent. “It’s you.”

“Miss! Miss, Bi Luo admits his mistake. Miss, please forgive Bi Luo!” Bi Luo, who had knelt on the ground, rushed towards Jun Jiu, pleading. “Miss, you’ve always been my sole responsibility. I’ve worked hard for you, Miss. Please forgive me!”

Jun Jiu furrowed her brow and stepped aside. Bi Luo lunged forward but ended up striking his head against the ground, causing it to bleed.

“Miss, please look at the bloodshed,” Bi Luo implored.

“It’s none of my concern,” Jun Jiu replied coldly.
